I just got this photo of the late Aisha...May her killer know no peace!UPDATED STORY : I got more details on her death from an eyewitness who revealed that the murder was committed by a neighbour, a married man she reportedly got pregnant for.


The guy who also resides in the estate argued with her and threatened her after she said she will tell his wife about the pregnancy she had for him.


The man got angry after she said she will report to his wife and struggle ensued. Moments later, she ran out of the house with scars all over her body, and while running she fell into the gutter.


when she was found by neighbors , She was still breathing so she was rushed to a specialist hospital along Ogudu road then to the General Hospital in Gbagada, but no one would admit her without a police report, that was when she was taken to the police station. it was there she gave up the ghost.The murder weapon, a bloodied knife, was reportedly seen but later got missing.

The suspect is currently being detained at the Area 'f' police station in the estate.

Narrating what happened to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday, Professor Abdullahi said he was on his way for an official assignment at Bauchi State University, Gadau, where he is the chairman of the university’s governing council.“It was in the morning as I was travelling in my official car with my driver.

 I was going to Gadau for a meeting. We had just passed the Awala Hotel roundabout when I saw a military convoy moving very slowly.“I was trying to catch up for the meeting, so my driver overtook the military convoy.

The next thing I knew they opened fire at us, with bullets were sprayed on the car.“The bullets damaged the engine of the car, damaged the car that we had to park by the road side. The soldiers came out and were shouting angrily at us. “


They were demanding to know why we wanted to overtake them, asking if we didn’t know that the soldiers were exporting sensitive materials,” he said.According to him, “they just left us there and continued their movement. I have never seen such a reckless act.

White House Receives Envelope Filled with Cyanide

An envelope sent to the White House earlier this week has tested positive for cyanide, the Secret Service announced on Tuesday.According to them, on Monday, an envelope containing an 'unknown milky substance, in a container wrapped in a plastic bag,' showed up at the White House Mail Screening Facility.

Though initial biological testing yielded negative results, chemical testing returned 'presumptive positive' for cyanide on Tuesday.

Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary in a statement to CNN said the sample was transported to another facility to confirm the results and that the Secret Service will have no further comment because the investigation is ongoing.

There were no injuries or exposure concerns for the person at the mail sorting facility who opened the letter, added a law enforcement official.

An alert identified the return address on the envelope as that of a man with a previous history of incidents with the Secret Service dating back to 1995, Intercept reports.

The man allegedly once sent a package to the White House covered in feces and urine. In a 2012 incident, the man sent a package to the White House containing mini alcoholic beverages.

Abia Commissioner Allegedly Rapes 11 Year Old Housemaid To Death.

Controversy surrounding the death of a minor, identified as Anwulika Nathan (an 11year old girl) from Owo-Ahia Afor in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State in the house of her guardian has been reportedly causing ripples in the community.

Awnulika, the last female child of Mr. Chinenye Nathan, a civil servant in the Abia State civil service was said to be living with one of the Commissioners in the Abia State Oil Producing Areas Development Commissions (ASOPADEC) family as their house help.

It was gathered that the commissioner after raping the girl to coma rushed her to New Era Hospital, along Niger road and some distance from Amuzukwu Primary and Secondary Schools were she later died.

Sources who confirmed that the people of Owo-Ahia Afor were pained over the girl’s death said that they were going to stop at nothing in deploying every measure to see that they get to the root of the matter.

Another source from the community who pleaded anonymity alleged that their daughter was raped to death by the ASOPADEC commissioner.

The source who confirmed that the police were already investigating the matter also accused the police of trying to sweep the matter under the carpet owing the “powerful” nature of the commissioner in the state.

According to the source “Sometimes last week, we got a phone that Anurika Nathan, 11year old from Owu Ahia Afor, who is living with one of the ASOPADEC Commissioners was raped to death.

“When we got to Umuahia, they were at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia. On reaching there, we saw her corpse in an ambulance covered with a T-Shirt with the inscription. One side of her body was open and we saw a lot of bruises on her knees, blood was coming out from her mouth and even from her private part.


“After we waited for about an hour at the hospital, the young man (Commissioner) arrived with his official car and with the father of the deceased.

 They came in with a letter from New Era hospital, Umuahia stating the doctor’s report.“After a while, the Commissioner attempted to leave, but the woman IPO refused him going, insisting he must follow her to the police station (CPS, Umuahia).

The man insisted he was going nowhere as he brandished an identity card showing the police woman that he is a Hon. Commissioner but the police woman stood her ground that he must go to the police station with her.

“It was at that point that so many people gathered and with the assistance of the crowd, he was taken to the police station by keke after his driver refused to drive the car further.“

Before they left for the police station, there was a melo-drama at the hospital premises when the said Commissioner could not pay the ambulance driver for the services he rendered, but for the driver’s threat to dump the girl’s corpse into his own official car he (commissioner) was forced to pay the ambulance man”.

Continuing, the source added, “Before this time, the wife of the commissioner who we understand works in the same office with the father of the Anwulika was crying and when asked why she was crying, she said that prior to that incident, the girl went to school and came back from school with bruises and before they could take her to the hospital, she died in the process, adding that “from the hospital, we went to the police station and they tried to bail him (commissioner) out that day, but it was not possible.


 Unfortunately, the girl was somehow related to prominent man in Abia government and I believe if not for this, from the way things had been going, the man could have been off the hook.“But of the man’s (commissioner) position in government, we (relations and families of the victim) are afraid that even the police would compromise dropping the matter.

“We were able to come to the conclusion that the commissioner raped our sister to death because from the autopsy conducted, the cause of death was established to be rape.“Anwulika was living with the commissioner, she was his housemaid and he took her in January this year.

It is not clear whether the girl died in the man’s house or at the hospital, but all we know is that the man took her to New Era hospital in his car but later brought her down to FMC in an ambulance and at FMC medics there tried to ascertain the cause of the death of the girl, considering the bruises she had her knees and blood that was gushing from her mouth and private part.“What we are calling for is for justice to prevail.

 The autopsy had been done at FMC which was confirmed at the CPS that the girl died as a result of rape.

FORMER President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that Boko Haram insurgents have legitimate grievances, a report in The Cable on Monday said.Criticising the response of the current administration to the Boko Haram insurgency in some parts of the North, Obasanjo highlighted low level of education as a contributory factor.

The ex-President spoke on Monday during a global education conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.“They (Boko Haram) have legitimate grievances,” he told IBTimes United Kingdom.“We don’t need anyone to tell us that that is a problem: a problem of disparity, a problem of marginalisation.“The response of the government initially was definitely not enough.


When Boko Haram started showing their fangs about four years ago, the reaction should have been firm and unmistakable,” he added.Obasanjo reiterated his carrot-and-stick approach to solving the insurgency by the sect, adding that the heat that the sect was facing from the military at the moment could force it to dialogue with the government.“

If Boko Haram is ready to talk, we should talk. But they will need to be pounded a little bit by the military and then, they would be ready to talk,” he said.Obasanjo added, “When we were dealing with the carrot aspect, the stick aspect should have been firm.


I hope with that, we will now go the carrot; the carrot is those things rightly or wrongly perceived as injustice or grievances that can now be dealt with.“

But the false confidence of the militants to go into Chad, Niger and neighbouring countries has now led to a regional coalition of military and that has been reasonably effective; it has not completely solved the problem.”

Ibinabo Fiberesima & AGN React to Court Order against Her as AGN President.

Here is the official release from AGN:The National Executive Council of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, received news of the judgement of a Federal High Court in Lagos on the 16th March 2015 , which annulled the election of November 2012 which brought Ibinabo Fiberesima into office.

While we shall abide by the judgement of the High Court, we shall be guided by the Constitution of the Guild which stipulates that there shall be no vacuum in the leadership of the Guild.

In view of this, Ibinabo Fiberesima remains the National leader of the AGN as the court did not declare Emeka Ike President of the guild.

 However, the Registered Board of Trustees has gone to the Appeal Court to challenge the judgement. Chief Ibinabo Fiberesima urges her members, supporters and teaming fans to remain calm and peaceful as AGN remains one family.

This judgement has not in any ways affected the resolve of Chief Ibinabo to take the Guild to the next level.

He filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which he pleads with a judge to put the brakes on Norma Gibson's decision to vacation in Israel with 7-year-old Shayla.

 Norma is an Israeli citizen and under the law she's allowed to stay in Israel permanently ... the country won't do anything to help the other parent.

Tyrese tried to get Norma to sign a contract promising to return Shayla by a certain date and if she violated the deal she'd lose custody. Norma refused to sign.The trip is planned for March 27.

 The matter is now before a family court mediator who will set the ground rules.

Nigerian MOPOL Fighting Alongside The Military In North East.

We have to also praise the Gallantry displayed by our Mobile Police Force, MOPOL in the North East as we also praise our ever faithful, gallant soldiers.

 The jubilant MOPOL men are part of those currently occupying Gujba. Following the liberation of Gujba,more MOPOL men were sent in to man the area while the military continued their push towards Gonori, the last BH-controlled town in Yobe State which was also liberated yesterday.

We would like to specially acknowledge the gallantry of MOPOL 41 Squadron, Damaturu, a unit which is top-heavy with really brave guysarmed with just AK-47 rifles.[/bSimilarly MOPOL 6 Squadron inMaiduguri and MOPOL 52 Squadron Bama deserve acknowledgment.

Concerning visiting MOPOL units, MOPOL 8 Squadron, JOS and MOPOL 27 Squadron Kastina have all ondifferent occasions exhibited gallantry in the face of grave danger.

Since the start of this insurgency, MOPOL 41 Squadron DAMATURU have lost their Commander while MOPOL 6 Squadron in Maiduguri have lost their 2ic. May their souls rest in perfect peace.

"The death of Lukman. J. Mohammad, a young man working with FCMB is another lost to my dear state, his death came in a week after the death of Abduljalal A Dauda, a friend of ours and an active member of the Civil Society Organizations who was the Chairman, National Youth Council Gombe State Chapter.

One may want to know why I am trying to lump these issues together! In the first place, each of the ugly development has a peculiarity which arise suspicion. In essence, there are unusual circumstance surrounding the death of the 2 young men.

Abduljalal A Dauda died in a hotel in Bauchi, it was reported that, he was not seen for long hours, which appeared to be quiet unusual of him. After several hours, the management of the Hotel made effort to find out if all was well with him.

They broke into his room and discovered his dead body in the bathroom. Suddenly, his family including his friends and the authorities resigned to fate and accepted that he may have easily fallen down and that was his end.


Here we are again, the families and the authorities are refusing to look into the death of Lukman J. Muhammad who drove his brother's car in the evening hours within Gombe metropolis and suddenly ran into a security light at the middle of the road.

 Everyone, including the family concluded it was a mere accident. It was when the body of Lukman was being prepared for funeral that, it was discovered he was shut by two bullets through his back.
Such discovery prompted some sort of findings on what could had happen to him.

Some individuals that went to conduct preliminary investigation got to the scene and asked people around, an eye-witness confirmed that the Police on patrol shut a driver in a car, the car lost control and rammed into scrutiny light and he saw when they quickly towed the car instead of moving the driver to the hospital.

They went to the Police Station to see the vehicle, alas! There were pieces of bullets and 2 holes on the driver's seat (as you can see on the picture and the body of the deceased).


Another disturbing aspect of the whole issue is the manner at which the Police hurriedly put up a written statement, claiming that the Driver of the car was overspeeding and lost control, then at the cause of the accident, a metal in the car pierced through his back and killed him.


Contrary to the statement of those Police men that puts up such lie, the photos here speak volume of what had happened.

GOVERNOR DANKWAMBO MUST SIT UP, OPEN UP PROPER INVESTIGATION OF THIS MATTER, AND THAT OF ABDULJALAL IN BAUCHI. 'I’m not ready to feed my husband in prison' - Patience Jonathan.

Check this out :According to a report by Punch, during a women’s wing rally in Ado Ekiti yesterday Monday March 16th, the first lady said she's not ready to feed her husband in prison as that was what APC will do if they get into power.

 Talking about APC, Mrs Jonathan said;
"What did they forget in Aso rock? If you vote PDP and Jonathan, it would be better for you. If you vote APC, you will go to prison. How can you jail somebody for 300 years? I’m not ready to carry food to my husband inside prison oh!”


Then she kinda talked about the Office of the First Lady, saying even though it doesn't really exist, there's nothing wrong with a woman supporting her husband in office. Continue...


"They said there is no Office of the First Lady. Already, we know that there is no Office of the First Lady but there is wife of the President.

As (the) wife of the President, if you are good, people will love you. You will have a Non-Governmental Organisation through which you will touch people’s lives. That is why I brought Women for Change Initiative.”


Mrs. Jonathan then described APC as a poison, saying, “If you drink APC, you will die.” the she accused the party of having to change name several times, "Since my father was born, they have been around changing from one name to another.

Very soon they would answer Ebola. The name can’t change you; it is only performance that can change you. If you like change it 100 times.

 Nigerian women shine your eyes, don’t go for analogue, go for digital. PDP is digital, APC is analogue."
