Man Sentenced To 3 Years For Raping A 14-Year 'Mwana Wacho Aizvidawo'
A 55 YEAR-OLD Marondera school bursar has been jailed three years for having a sexual relationship with a 14 year-old pupil.
Tedious Mapingire was sentenced last week by Marondera magistrate, Josephine Sande, after being convicted of having an affair with the minor.
Court heard that Mapingire was employed as a bursar at Early Bird School and propositioned the girl in February last year.
Prosecutor Lovemore Musariyarwa said Mapingire would then summon the girl to his office where he had sex with her.
He would give the minor one dollar on each occasion, the court was told.(When asked by our source, the burser claimed mwana wacho aizvidawo).
However, early this month, a teacher at the school saw Mapingire handing the girl a dollar and quizzed her about the money.
She revealed her relationship with Mapingire leading to the bursar’s arrest.
Mapingire was handed a three year sentence but will serve an effective two years after one year was suspended on conditions.
Threats of lawsuit from former partners unraveled Charlie Sheen's HIV status
As we reported, Charlie will appear on "Today" and reveal he's HIV positive. We're told he's known about his status for more than a year and he kept a lid on the information. We're told things changed when Charlie confided in several friends he thought were confidants ... it turned out they weren't, and spread the word he was HIV positive. That led to several of Charlie's former partners contacting him and threatening a lawsuit because they were unaware of his status when they had interaction with him. Our sources say Charlie settled several of the cases and, in return for money, got confidentiality agreements.
We're told one of the settlements occurred late last month.
We also know when people go to Charlie's house they are almost always required to sign confidentiality agreements which require anyone who might make a claim to do so in arbitration and not through the courts ... which thereby keeps things private.

Hundreds of women strip off to take part in 'SlutWalk' protest against sexual violence
The topless participants had slogans written on their bodies and banners as they marched through the streets and blocked traffic in Rio de Janeiro's, Brazil.
The event, which featured powerful messages and colourful displays, was held along Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana beachfront in Brazil.
Protesters said one their key aims was to address claims by some that women provoke attacks by the way they dress or act.
They also wanted to fight against proposed new abortion restrictions which, if passed, would mean a woman who was raped could only have a termination if she could prove the crime.
Stephanie Ruas, 26, said: "We may face violence anywhere. At school, as a young girl, at work - that's the culture.
"Brazil is one of the worst places for a woman to travel alone. When I travel I bring a special door jam so that my hotel room cannot be opened."The protesters said a woman is killed every two hours in Brazil which they claim makes it the fifth most dangerous country for females.
Saturday's event was the fifth Slutwalk march held in Rio.
