The sources disclosed that Mr. Jonathan, Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, the chairman of the PDP’s board of trustees, Tony Anenih, Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko and Ijaw political figure, Edwin Clark, were the main players in the new scheme. They are reportedly determined to sell their new plan to a small nucleus of key legislators at the National Assembly to discuss how best to recruit supporters, sources knowledgeable about the astonishing plot revealed. The team pushing this new idea, one source said, is operating on the premise that it would be “dangerous to hand over power to Muhammadu Buhari.” Ms. Alison-Madueke was reported to be a hawkish pusher of the idea, with one of our sources adding that the Petroleum Minister was extremely anxious about the prospect of a Buhari Presidency exposing her numerous shady deals in the oil sector through which she and a few players selected by her have drained billions of dollars of oil revenues into their private holdings. Ms. Alison-Madueke has assured the group that some officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) as well as several big-time beneficiaries of oil sector deals, including importers of refined fuel, were committed to the plan and willing to provide slush funds to pay a bribe of $2 million dollars to each senator and $1 million to key members of the House of Representatives to persuade them to endorse the plot to derail elections permanently and install an interim national government. The president is working through officials of the NNPC to fund the massive bribe scheme.Mr. Jonathan’s henchmen have begun discussions with some members of the National Assembly as the legislative body prepares to resume another legislative session in Abuja next week. It would be the first time the legislature would sit after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced last week that polls, which were scheduled for February 14, 2015, had been postponed for six weeks. According to those who briefed SaharaReporters on the latest scheme by the Presidency, Mr. Jonathan plans to sell to key legislators the argument that, since Nigeria is at war at the moment, the government would need another six months at least to fight off Boko Haram insurgents in the northeast of Nigeria before elections can take place.A source close to a former military head of state, Abdulsalam Abubakar, told SaharaReporters that Mr. Jonathan had approached the retired officer and pleaded with him to consider heading an interim national government that would be put in place on May 29, 2015 if Mr. Jonathan’s plan prevails. “General Abubakar promptly declined the offer and immediately informed some ex-heads of state about the offer,” the source disclosed.Mr. Jonathan and Ms. Madueke have revived the scheme to avoid elections after a sobering meeting the president held last Thursday night with PDP governors and top party figures. He declared point-blank that the service chiefs ought to have “gone home to rest” for promoting that course of action. He faulted this and said it was actually to buy time for President Jonathan.
According to him, President Jonathan habours a “sinister grand plan to win the March 28 Presidential election by hook and by crook,” and fears that Gen Buhari will jail him in the event that the APC candidate triumphs at the poll. He spoke to reporters at his Hilltop Estate, Abeokuta, residence.
He advised President Jonathan against going the way of former President Laurent Gbagbo of Cote’d Voire who kept tinkering with elections dates in his country until he was humiliated out of office, and to be wary of those prodding him on because when the heat turns full blast, he would be left “naked and isolated.
” Obasanjo said the election postponement was a sad commentary on the nation’s democracy as was the role played by the security chiefs in the matter.
He wondered why Nigeria could not go ahead with the February elections when countries like Iraq and Colombia conducted successful polls in the midst of wars and turmoil.

A mother who was tortured for seven hours in front of her twin sons has been forced to write to her attacker, or face the prospect of being sent to jail herself.Natalie Allman, 29, was battered with a dumb-bell and slashed across the throat by Jason Hughes, 42, because he wanted to make her look 'ugly' after she dumped him.Former Territorial Army soldier Hughes was jailed for nine years in 2012 for the brutal attack at the couple's home in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire - which was witnessed by their twin sons.
Natalie Allman, 29, who was tortured for seven hours in front of her twin sons and had her throat cut by ex-fiance Jason Hughes has been forced to write to her attacker, or face the prospect of being sent to jail herself+7Ms Allman, was battered with a dumb-bell and slashed across the throat by Hughes, 42, (left) because he wanted to make her look 'ugly' after she dumped him.
The pair are pictured before their split in 2011But now a judge has ordered Ms Allman to send three letters a year to Hughes, updating him on their five-year-old boys and including photographs of the children every Easter, September and December.The order has been made under parental rights laws, and if Ms Allman does not comply she will be in contempt of court - and could be imprisoned.
But Hughes had a drink problem that was spiralling out of control and in February 2011 Ms Allman ended their relationship just two months before they had planned to marry.She has said previously that he was drinking as much as a litre of vodka day or six litres of cider.He lashed out after she told him she was seeing someone else. On February 3, 2011, as Ms Allman lay in bed, Hughes launched the terrifying seven-hour attack on his ex, attempting to smother her with a pillow before repeatedly bludgeoning her with a dumb bell.

Ms Allman had suffered eight wounds to her head and five fractures to her face bones. She also needed cosmetic surgery to rebuild her throat. Hughes was jailed for nine years after he was convicted of malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at Worcester Crown Court on August 2, 2012.
Defending Hughes, Abigail Nixon said if Hughes had intended to kill Natalie then he could have done so because of his military training.
She told the court: 'His intention was to cause a hideous scar she could not hide if she had dressed up to look pretty.'He was trying to make her look ugly to other men.'After Hughes was jailed, Ms Allman began to rebuild her life, and the following year gave birth to a son, Aaron, with her new partner Wayne Young, 43.
However, in January 2014 she was told that Hughes was applying for a Residence and Contact Order under Section 8 of the Children Act of 1989, and was asking for six letters a year - as well as phone calls from the twins on their birthdays and at Christmas.Ms Allman spent £3,000 on legal fees to fight the demand, but a court ruled that she would have to send three letters a year - updating Hughes on the children's school progress, health, and emotional development.+
Although she is sickened by the letters, Ms Allman has been told she must keep them in case her sons want to read them when they are older She was also ordered to send an up-to-date photograph of the boys, while Hughes was given permission to send them cards at birthdays and Christmas, and a letter at the start of each school year.
Although she is sickened by the letters, which are delivered to her father's home to stop Hughes from learning of Ms Allman's new address, Ms Allman has been told she must keep them in case her sons want to read them when they are older.
She said the letters from Hughes detailed how he had been allowed to play with an X Box games console, and told of his prison job as a bee-keeper.

Another bomb blast !!! Dozens Feared Dead as Bomb Rocks Yobe
A female suicide bomber blew herself at a bus station in the northeast Nigerian city of Damaturu on Sunday, killing herself and seven others.
The attack took place at the Damaturu Central Motor park near the A division police Station that was on January 9th burnt down by the Boko Haram insurgents.
The State Police Public Relation Officer Toyin Gbadegesin said the bomber made several failed attempts to bomb the military outfit inside the park before she boarded a half-loaded Sharon car and blew herself off killing 10 people at the spot.

Toyota Camry car as his speeding vehicle failed brake
and ran into the Ikosi-Ketu branch of Mr Biggs.He could
not control the brake as he ran into the eatery centre while lovers were celebrating Val’s day.However,no life was lost.Thanks God for that.

Hey guys a terrible accident happened today in festac . What a day for such a terrible accident to happen.
Accident happened along Festac Link Road close to Apple Junction Amuwo Odofin Festac at about 4.00 am early morning today.
The guy was coming back from one of the Clubs in First Avenue Festac with a Babe he picked at the club. The lady died instantly, it took several minutes to bring the girl out of the car, cos the car pinned her down, the guy was initially alive n taken to hospital, he was bleeding from the chest, he later died too.
The late guy driving the car wasn't the owner of the car, the real owner of the car was shocked when he came to the accident scene this morning.
That Festac link Road produces too many accident almost every week. There seem to be evil always lurking on that road. RIP to the Deceased.

I have a serious question I will love to ask you guys but first let me start by telling you about a good friend of mine true experience. I wont mention my friends name but I will mention the girl's name .
Well today my friend was gisting me and complaining about girls . He said he met a girl that he was still trying to woo and she spent time with him. She said she was ready to leave and as a gentleman that he is, he escorted her out and offered to pay her taxi fare .
Well since he was low on cash at home he decided to redraw some money from the Atm Machine and she followed him . At the Atm spot redrawing money the lisa girl came closer to him and spoke so sweetly and asked if she could see his account statement lol !! Funny right . Well he refused and that kind of irritated him so he quickly put her into the taxi and paid for the taxi fee and since then he lost interest in the lisa girl.

I have a serious question I will love to ask you guys but first let me start by telling you about a good friend of mine true experience. I wont mention my friends name but I will mention the girl's name .
Well today my friend was gisting me and complaining about girls . He said he met a girl that he was still trying to woo and she spent time with him. She said she was ready to leave and as a gentleman that he is, he escorted her out and offered to pay her taxi fare .
Well since he was low on cash at home he decided to redraw some money from the Atm Machine and she followed him . At the Atm spot redrawing money the lisa girl came closer to him and spoke so sweetly and asked if she could see his account statement lol !! Funny right . Well he refused and that kind of irritated him so he quickly put her into the taxi and paid for the taxi fee and since then he lost interest in the lisa girl.

The photo was shot for the December 2013 issue of Marie Claire when Cindy was 47. She's now 49. The supermodel, named the highest paid model in the world in 1995, didn't mind the photo being used raw without photoshop for the edition. The pic was shared on Twitter yesterday and it went viral with many calling for other celebs to follow suit. If you were her, would you allow such a photo out?
