Lil Wayne Tour Bus Shooting In Atlanta

Lil Wayne, 32, and his entire tour crew are the victims were given quite the scare in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 26, in Atlanta, Ga.

A report claims that at least one of his two tour buses was shot at multiple times while they were leaving a nightclub after a performance, and many people were on board both buses — including rapper Lil Twist, 22, and a handful of Young Money record executives.

This must have been so terrifying for everyone on board.As Lil Wayne’s two tour buses pulled away from Compound nightclub very early Sunday morning, gunfire shook the passengers, reports TMZ.

It’s unclear which tour bus was hit, if not both, but the report claims Lil Wayne, Lil Twist, Hood, and many of their Young Money execs were on board at least one of them.

Neither Lil Wayne nor Lil Twist have tweeted since the shooting, so we sincerely hope that they are both okay after the terrifying incident

Story of how ‘naval officer’ conned and lured woman into sham weddingA man who claimed to be an officer of the Nigerian Navy is currently enmeshed in what could best be described as a fraudulent marriage.

The man identified as Edward Benosa and who claimed to be attached to NNS Apapa, Lagos, Sunday Sun was informed, wedded a lady (name withheld) in a Catholic church in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State in June 2014 while his first marriage was still intact.

Edward, it was gathered, allegedly tricked the woman in question to foot the bills of the wedding after he reportedly showed her  a post- dated cheque of N1 million with which he claimed he intended to refund the expenses incurred by the lady.

Sunday Sun gathered that the naval officer met the lady in 2013 through a friend and they dated until the lady became pregnant early in 2014.The lady who was a youth corps member as at the time they met, a reliable source explained, was also into business.“

Along the line, a lady started calling her on phone telling her to leave her husband but she took it as one of those things, thinking the caller was Edward’s ex-girlfriend.

When he confronted Edward with it, he allegedly swore with his life that he had never been married and neither did he have any child,” the source disclosed.Not pleased with his explanation, the lady demanded to meet his parents, a demand Edward acceded to. “When they got to Lagos, the guy took her to Iba.

 On getting there, she saw the guy’s mother living with four children. She asked whose children they were and he told her that the children were his sister’s children.“They later retired to a hotel room where the guy lodged her and the lady asked him if he doesn’t have a house in Lagos.

He responded by telling her that he lived in the same apartment with his mother but he could not lodge her there because he didn’t want his mother to see him camping a lady he had not married formally in his room because his mother knew him to be a pious person.“

The lady said at that point she began to suspect that something was fishy. She said anytime she went to his mother’s house alone the children were always at liberty to play around but immediately Edward stepped in they would disappear.“

She later decided to ask the mother whose children they were. Shockingly, the mother, who had earlier lied about the children, later said they were Edward’s children few weeks before the wedding.

 She told the woman that her son told her that the children were his sister’s. Then the mother reportedly told her not to be bothered about the children since Edward didn’t formally marry their mother and since the children were not going to live with them after their wedding.

When her pregnancy was four –months-old, Edward was said to have mooted the idea of getting the pregnancy terminated to the lady on the ground that he was financially handicapped at the period, a suggestion the lady kicked against because, according to her, the suggestion was against her faith.

According to the source, Edward claimed that his salary and other allowances were being withheld by the Nigerian Navy along with some other naval personnel for their refusal to embark on a military assignment.“Edward later told her to look for money so that they could get married. He showed her a cheque of N1 million, which he claimed was given to him by his boss.

 The cheque, he said, would mature after the wedding and the lady would be able to recoup the expenses she incurred on the wedding. So they fixed a June, 2014 date for the weddingThe lady, it was gathered, later secured a N500,000 loan from a bank with the intention of repaying the loan when the cheque matures after the wedding.

Curiously, Sunday Sun learnt that the lady was always responsible for Edward’s transport fares to and fro Enugu, his hotel bills and other expenses based on the understanding that his salaries were being withheld.

As preparations for the marriage approached its crucial stage, they were given Marriage Ban, a document would-be couple is expected to fill and sign with which the announcement of their proposed union would be made in their respective churches, but Edward refused to sign the document in his church in Lagos.

Sensing the implication of Edward’s refusal to sign the document the lady alongside Edward decided to make a private arrangement and got the document signed.

Since they had both agreed that the church wedding and the traditional wedding would hold on same day, Edward, who had repeatedly dodged the lady’s request to take her to his village in Delta State claiming he could not guarantee the safety of her pregnancy should she insist on visiting his village, succeeded in deceiving her.“

She wanted to go to his village but he said because she was pregnant. Let me use his language, “there are many witches in my village and I don’t want them to kill your unborn baby” so the lady did not travel to his village.“But when the man gave the name of his village in Delta State as Uzoro Village, the lady sent her younger brother to help her locate the said village.

Her younger brother was said to have travelled to Delta State but could not locate the village within the local government area he was told the village was situated.“Before the wedding, they went to buy souvenirs and then returned to the hotel where Edward lodged. Then his phone rang but unfortunately for the guy, he was in the bathroom. So the lady had enough time to copy and save the number, she did not pick the call.

 When Edward returned, she told him to pick his call but he refused, claiming that the person calling him was a customer he was helping in clearing some goods, the source informed.The lady, it was learnt, later called the number and the receiver would only compound her fear and suspicion. “

When she called the number the receiver said, ‘I have been waiting for you. I am currently living with Edward and we have three children. I am your Ibo sister from Imo State.

Why are you doing this to your sister?’ She told her to ask Edward if what she said was untrue and to request Edward to take her to where he lived and where his belongings were,” the source said.When confronted with the allegation, Edward, it was gathered denied having any wife or children saying, the caller was one of his ex-girl friends.“

The lady later confronted Edward’s mother with the same allegation but she also denied that his son was married to any woman. With this you can understand that the mother was also part of the whole fraudulent plan,” the source disclosed further.A day to the wedding, Edward, Sunday Sun learnt, arrived with only his shirt and jeans trousers without any bag.

 The lady who was dumbfounded hurriedly went out with him and bought his suit along with that of his younger brother, who was the best man.The lady who had expected that their wedding ceremony would be graced by naval personnel was further shocked as no naval personnel showed up at the wedding.

“As I am speaking to you the lady doesn’t know if the guy is truly a naval officer because the usual sword crossing which is a part of the ceremony when military officers are getting married did not take place during their wedding. On the wedding day, the mother came with four other guests.

 They finished the church wedding and went to her village for the traditional wedding and the following day, which was a Sunday, they went for thanksgiving. And on the next day, which was Monday, Edward returned to Lagos.“Shortly after Edward returned to Lagos he started admitting that he was already married and that he has children.

The woman who called her earlier also called back to taunt her, saying ‘I told you that you shouldn’t go ahead to marry him (Edward) and that he is my husband,” the source said.

Sunday Sun gathered that the lady was delivered of a baby boy in January but Edward had failed to live up to his responsibility as he was said to have abandoned the lady and her child.

But when contacted, Edward insisted that he is a naval officer but denied having been married to two other women before his marriage to the lady. “It is not true that I have been married twice.

I only married once before my marriage to her (the lady),” he said.While expressing regrets over what he called a mistake on his part, Edward said the lady failed to yield to his advice that the pregnancy be terminated. “

Bode George: Tinubu Has Begged Me For Forgiveness.

In this interview with ENIOLA AKINKUOTU, the leader of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Chief Bode George, speaks about the just concluded elections and other national issuesIn your clear assessment, what do you think led to the defeat of the Peoples Democratic Party in the last elections?

The PDP was not defeated. We were manipulated out and history will judge what I am saying. When (Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission) Prof. Attahiru Jega came up with the use of card readers and Permanent Voter Cards, technically, you would have thought: ‘Thank God, we are in the 21st century, we have arrived.’

 Take my state, Lagos, for example, 5.9 million people were registered to vote but until the week before the election which was fortunately postponed, we had 3.8 million PVCs delivered to Lagos. That means 2.1 million people were cut off. In areas where there was insurgency, there was between 80 and 90 per cent distribution rate. Most of Jega’s areas had no problems. Thank God Jega is a professor. Let’s assume that he is teaching a 400-level class in a university.

He teaches Classes A, B and C. In Class A, he has completed the syllabus but in Class B, he completed 60 per cent while in class C, he only completed 30 per cent of the syllabus and they are all going to write the same examination. Is that justifiable?

Is that equitable? Thus, just looking at that, would he in his own mind, be satisfied that he did a good job?Remember he first had February 14 as the election day.

 We thank God it was shifted. Yet he attributed the shift to the insurgency and the military wanting to operate. In his heart of hearts, can he face his Creator and say what he did was fair? Technically, we must move with the rest of the world but this manipulation was so vicious.

 I come from a highly politically-inclined family. The late Herbert Macaulay was my mother’s grandfather. Thus, we have always been politically vibrant in my family. I remember the politics of the 1960s.

 I sat back after the elections and when I saw the political setting, I concluded that after 50 years of independence and meandering, we are back at the starting block where we were in 1960.

What have we achieved? The Northern Peoples Congress is now the All Progressives Congress. The National Conference of Nigeria and the Cameroons is now the PDP which was in control of the Eastern Region and the Western Region. We have come full circle and we are back to the starting point.

I love this nation but when we look at how things are being done, there is no equity, justice or fairness. I am praying we will alter the course and take the ship of state in a direction where every Nigerian will be proud to commit themselves to the unity and indivisibility of Nigeria.

 After an in-depth post-mortem analysis of this election, we will know that we have taken a journey that has led to nowhere.

Are you saying the elections were not credible despite President Goodluck Jonathan’s acceptance of defeat?On the day of the presidential election, at about 1pm, when the card readers were not working, suddenly Jega said we should go manual.

 If you check the time it takes for a person to be accredited and the initial 500 people per polling unit and later 750; you would be shocked that over two million people were accredited in Kano within the remaining time and they all voted.

 We must have been a more developed country than America to pull that off. The result that came out of Kano was 1,903,999 and then I shuddered. If I have to go to a classroom to teach and analyse this result, I would say there is no improvement at all and it took us straight back to the 1960 setting. We are now back to the era whereby people vote based on tribal sentiments.

This was the kind of thing (former Head of State) Gen. Yakubu Gowon wanted to stop and that was why he came up with the National Youth Service Corps programme to put all of us in a melting pot so that a Nigerian colour could emerge but we have not achieved that.

Will this not haunt Jega? He should go into the inner-most chamber of his house and beg God for forgiveness. I am ready for a debate with him with facts and figures. There needs to be a total overhaul of INEC because if not, it means one section of the country will always determine who becomes President.

 Does that augur well for peace?When President Goodluck Jonathan conceded defeat, he said he knew the election was manipulated and that he was not a coward but he had sworn that he would not allow any Nigerian to be killed on his own watch; thus, he threw in the towel and wished Nigeria well.

 His action doused a lot of tension.There was heavy manipulation in Lagos. Why would Ajegunle, Ajeromi/Ifelodun’s ballot papers be found in Kosofe Local Government?

 Why would Kosofe’s ballot papers be found in Ojo Local Government? Why were hoodlums snatching ballot papers and shooting into the air? I have been calming frayed nerves because there is a graveyard silence in Lagos and people are not happy about the results. I have said we should not conflagrate Lagos.

 We must follow the example of the civility exercised by our President, gather our information as humanly possible and head for the tribunal.But the South-East and the South-South gave the PDP almost 100 per cent votes. Your party also got millions of votes from Rivers and Delta states.Most of the states in those places were originally PDP.

The founding founders of our party were people who were of diverse backgrounds: Alex Ekuweme, Bola Ige, Adamu Ciroma and Abubakar Rimi came together with others to form the mega party that was Nigeria in all ramifications.It is on record that President Jonathan got over N21bn the week he announced his intention to run.

Lagos is also said to have got the largest chunk of the money in the campaign chest. But PDP leaders allegedly used the money to buy mansions for themselves instead of campaigning for Jonathan.

This was said to have led to your party being outwitted by the APC. What is your response to this?When we do a thorough post-mortem analysis, you will get the details. Those who collected the money would have to explain themselves. No kobo was sent here.

 I have also heard of complaints both from the APC and the PDP. It shows you the level of poverty of the mind and of the stomach. People think politics is all about self. The great orator, Cicero, said we are not born for ourselves alone but for service. If all they know is ‘grab it’, how will the money last them? The Yoruba say money is for spending.

Those who stole the last time, where are they? I was inundated here with complaints of people collecting money and fleeing. It was done by the APC and the PDP. We will do an analysis and reappraise. Some people have disappeared like a submarine. We will do analysis.

People cannot be fully trusted but the people given the resources will have to account for it.Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) has a reputation of being an incorruptible person. Do you think he can clean up the system?The new government hurriedly put themselves together. They have no taproot; no culture. All they are after is power.

 On May 29, they will have the power. When I listened to Gen. Buhari’s economic postulation, I laughed. The world is in the 21st century. No one is talking about establishing Nigerian Airways or automatically turning a naira into a dollar. He said he would look into all the governors that have used their state Houses of Assembly to approve stupendous benefits for themselves.

He said he would cancel it. But this is not a military government. My oga will now know what it means to deal with a National Assembly and their idiosyncrasies, state governors, political parties and their idiosyncrasies.

I know Buhari to be a man that does not want any stain on his public posture. But when I was young, my mother used to say, ‘show me your friends and I will tell you who you are.’

 Let my oga show me his friends and I will tell him who he is. Let him start to clean his own household because it is filthy.I am from this state and I have been involved in politics since 1998. Bola Tinubu and I have settled our quarrel but facts are facts. Friendship is different.

If I still see him, I will tell him to his face. His acquisitive tendencies know no bounds. He decided to bring (Akin) Ambode to manipulate the system and throw a lot of funds around.

Where is the growth in Lagos?Are you saying Asiwaju Bola Tinubu can stop Buhari from doing well?Are they not in the same party? Who calls himself the national leader of the party? If Tinubu says let’s go South and Buhari says lets go East, what happens? You cannot have two captains on a ship.

 I told you the APC has no taproot but it is just an experimental party. I know Buhari will not want to contaminate himself but what of those who have fast hands in the tillers? We are waiting for him to announce his cabinet. Four years is a short time in the life of a nation. He is almost 73 and he should fear nothing.

All he needs to do is to leave a good name behind.You once said if Tinubu finds his way into national government, you will go on exile. Now that he has, when will you start packing your bags?There is nothing he can do to me.

 I am not afraid of him and he knows that but I am now 70 and most of my children are abroad. My little girl is also abroad. I will spend more time there doing my memoirs because if I am here, I will be dealing with too many things.

 The book will include my 16 years of politics in Lagos and my youthful experiences.You and Tinubu are believed to be archenemies but a member of your party, Buruji Kashamu, has described him as a role model for Yoruba and the architect of modern Nigeria.

How do you see Tinubu now?One little boy who just delved into politics said I am a mole of Bola Tinubu. He must have woken on the wrong side of his bed. Bola and I are not enemies; we are in two different parties with different ideologies. His concept of operation is at variance with mine. We are not enemies; we did not grow up together.

 I even went to his village in Iragbiji to campaign for our party in Osun State. I met his Oba there and they even showed me his primary school. One of his friends with whom he lived in Ibadan was my classmate at the University of Lagos.Initially, he thought I hated him so much and convolutedly conspired to use a judge to put me in prison. Whatever you sow, you will reap. The Supreme Court said the judgment was a conjecture which means it never existed.

They did not know they were helping me to go and rediscover myself. Of course it was painful. We later met at the Adamasingba Stadium Ibadan, at the burial of my good friend, Alao Arisekola. The Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, who is a younger brother of mine, sprang up and said, ‘Why are you and Tinubu not greeting each other?’ and I said Bola is on a different planet from mine.

Oba Otudeko was also there and he said, ‘today at the burial of our mutual friend, Arisekola, we should end our hostility’ and I told them that he was involved in the conspiracy to lock me up. They called Bola, he shook my hand and said he was sorry.

 It was in public. Since then, if we meet in public, we greet each other but our concepts of politics are different.[/b][/i]For me, there is no enmity, just differences in political approaches. For me, democracy is about the people, service and the majority of the people choosing who will lead them. His own concept is imperial. He decides who should go to sleep and who gets what.

Now, there is Gen. Buhari. If I remember the kind of person he is and the Bourdillon dictator, I wish them the best of luck.There are still those who believe that if the PDP had chosen Musiliu Obanikoro, it would have performed better at the polls because he is a grass roots politician that would be able to face Tinubu.

What is your take?Obanikoro face Bola Tinubu? When people say such things, it baffles me. Let him (Obanikoro) come out openly and say it. Without mincing words, whenever he needs something, he (Obanikoro) comes here to prostrate but you see I am an irredentist of the truth.

When I know that you don’t have the qualities needed for a job and you are asking me to support you, I will tell you the truth. So, he went out to say he was going to campaign on his own and I wished him the best of luck. The people decided at the primary because Jimi Agbaje was unique.

The public wanted him and they voted for him. It was not about Bode George. If I were a weak leader, Obanikoro would have got away with all his shenanigans.Why did the PDP play the ethnic card, pitting the Igbo against the Yoruba after the Oba of Lagos made threats against the Igbo? This is believed to have contributed to your party’s defeat.That is arrant nonsense.

I am happy you asked this question. Before his statement, candidates had emerged and we were getting ready for election. According to the way I was brought up in Lagos, the centre of commerce, everyone is welcome. That is why Lagos is different from every other city in Nigeria. If you come from anywhere, we accommodate you because buying and selling was our business.

 Thus, leaders of the South-South and Igbo came and said we should select some of their indigenes for the National Assembly and House of Assembly elections. I told them we do not select in the PDP except for where you have an advantage. For example, in Ojo, there are many Igbos. In Ajegunle, Ajeromi/Ifelodun, it is a mixture of Igbo and people from Delta. In Amuwo

Odofin, there are a lot of Delta, Edo and Igbo people.As the leader of the party, I sat down and asked my people, what is democracy? It is about representation. These people live here, have properties here and pay their taxes here.

If they win, they will be representing their constituency that is made up of their own ethnic group. Already, some of them were members of their local government executive committees.

They participated in the primaries and won and for the first time in the history of this state, we have some Igbos who are representing Lagos at the National Assembly. They are not representing the South-East but their people in Lagos. Therefore, it was not a matter of us playing the ethnic card.

It was my friend, the kabiyesi, that was pitting the Yoruba against the Igbo. When it is time for local government elections, it would be foolish of us to go to Agege, where there is a large northern population, and present a Yoruba man as our candidate.

If you want to win, you put their own person there. Lagos is the melting pot and we are showing the rest of Nigeria the way. Tribalism must be buried and totally abandoned and that was why I said we have returned to the 1960 pattern of ethnic voting.

For the first time, the Lagos PDP is on its own without federal backing. How will you survive in the opposition?We will survive through dedication, loyalty, sincerity of purpose and absolute commitment. It is going to be tough but this is when you will sieve the boys from the men.

The failure of your party nationally has been traced to the defection of five governors, which President Jonathan did not handle properly. With the benefit of hindsight, what lessons can you take from this?I will not like to talk about my personal views because we have not had our party post-mortem analysis. Who did what, when and how should be an internal matter.

 I am a leader of the party and I remain a full member of the caucus and a life member of the Board of Trustees and National Executive Committee, hence, I will not wash our dirty linen in public.What will Jonathan be remembered for?He will be remembered for a lot of things, one of which is his meekness which is not a sign of weakness.

Even at the peak of power, he kept his cool and history will judge. He did not behave like a bull in a China shop.Your wife is the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. Will you allow her to continue with the Buhari administration?

If Gen. Buhari asks her to continue, I will not stop her. That is a very sensitive organisation and requires absolute trust of those in government. We are not alone in the fight against drugs. The Europeans and Americans are heavily involved in it. She is brilliant and has gone through all the trainings. She is very competent.

If they want her to continue, it is fine but we have to look at those she will work with. I know Gen. Buhari. I will not say more than that.

Rochas Okorocha Declared Winner Of Imo State Governorship Election.

The incumbent Governor Rochas Okorocha has secured victory after today’s supplementary polls to conclude the inconclusive governorship election in Imo State.

Mr. Okorocha, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has beaten Emeka Ihedioha, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by 416,996 votes.

 Mr. Ihedioha scored 320,705 votes.In declaring Mr. Okorocha as winner in Owerri early morning in Nigeria, the Returning officer stated that that the total number of valid votes amounted to 782,528.

In Abia state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu of PDP won by beating APGA candidate, Dr. Alex Otti, former MD of Diamond Bank. Ikpeazu polled 264,713 votes to Otti's 180,882.

 I didn’t know he’d filed for divorce. He has been calling people asking them to plead with me to get back with him.“I would have filed for divorce myself but I haven’t because I’ve been very busy.

Responding to claims she stole money from Fashanu, Abigail added: “Anybody can say anything – but how can I go to his house and steal from him in his house?“I wasn’t living there with him.

He’s sick and he needs help.”Fashanu was born in London to a Guyanan nurse, Pearl, and Nigerian ­barrister, Patrick. After they split up he had a spell in a Barnado’s home and was fostered in Norfolk.

His football career included spells with Norwich City, Lincoln City, Crystal Palace, Millwall and Aston Villa.He joined Wimbledon in 1986 and ­famously won the FA Cup in 1988 in a team including Vinnie Jones and Lawrie Sanchez.Fashanu scored more than 100 goals during his 17-year career, which also included two appearances for England.

25 year old Aladi Sule was attacked with acid by her ex-lover, Kazeem Abdullahi, a few weeks ago in Kogi state. According to the story told by Vanguard, Ladi and the man who attacked her had been lovers since secondary school. When she fell pregnant, the couple decided to live together but unfortunately the child died.

Then when they began to have problems, the man married someone else, prompting Ladi to leave the house. Then the man came begging but her family demanded that he marry her properly first before she moves back in with her.


While they were making wedding preparations, the man rented a house for Ladi, who also managed to get some money to start a fruits shop.

Be Careful Who You Sleep With ........

Scientists have discovered that a sizeable minority of women have Y-chromosome gene sequences in their blood. This is interesting because as you may know, Y-chromosomes are the chromosomes that belong to men, so ladies, what are they doing there, and where did they come from?

An obvious answer would be from pregnancy with a male son, every woman who has been pregnant still carries cells from her fetus within her bloodstream.

Cells from the pregnancy will reside within the mother's bloodstream and organs for the rest of her life. Even if the pregnancy was terminated or if there was a miscarriage these said genes would remain with the Mother.

There is a name for this so-called condition, it is called microchimerism (1), which is named after the Greek chimera, a mythical, monstrous fire-breathing animal that is composed of the parts of three animals a lion, a snake and a goat.

Okay so that explains it, well at least it does for the women who have given birth to sons.

But what about the women without sons that still had male cells in their bloodstream? This called for a study (2) that was done by immunologists at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in 2004.

In this study they took samples from 120 women who had never had sons. They found that 21% of these women had male DNA.

The women were then categorized into 4 groups according to pregnancy history: Group A had only daughters, Group B had had one or more miscarriage(s), Group C had induced abortions and Group D had never been pregnant before.

The prevalence of male michrochimerism was considerably greater in Group C although it was still present in each group. Group A 8%, Group B 22%, Group C 57% and Group D 10%.

 The conclusions of this study noted that the possible sources of male michrochimerism included, known pregnancies, miscarriages, vanished male twin, or sexual intercourse.

This means, that through intercourse alone there is a potential for women to hold onto male genes and DNA within their organs and blood stream for their entire life! I find this extremely fascinating because a spiritual friend and mentor once told me that every time you sleep with somebody you are taking on a part of them within you.

I thought of this as a powerful metaphor, that we were keeping a part of them energetically. Needless to say, it made me reflect on certain things from my past and this whole analogy really made a lot of sense. But, to learn that there is actual scientific proof to back this up and that it is a physical thing, that is more than just energy.

The idea that as women we are capable of taking on actual physical DNA from the men that we sleep with, was an extremely eye opening piece of information to stumble across.

This science puts a whole new meaning on sexual intercourse as a whole. It is a very sacred and spiritual act and should be completely regarded as such. A lot of people are misusing sex and have forgotten what it is meant for and how important and consecrated it really is.

 I know I can speak for many women because as a woman I know what this is like and have had experiences in the past with giving away sex somewhat freely because of insecurity or to please or impress a man without actually even realizing how irresponsible this was.

Because at the time, it was just sex, and when you are completely disconnected from yourself, it doesn't seem like it's a big deal.

 Now being older and more connected to my spiritual self I realize that sex is not something that is meant to be thrown around and given out so freely, it is a sacred act that creates a bond between two people that love and care about each other. It is so important for us (humanity) to realize this.

 There is a lot of power and amazing potential within this act and it has the complete capability of connecting us with our true selves. Many of us are holding onto a lot of sexual baggage from our past, it is not my intent to make anyone regret past experiences.

Rather, to let go and embrace what the past has taught us and move forward with this knowledge and consider it wisely.

 With this information I'm sure you will think twice about whom you are ending up in bed with, and at the very least, I'm positive that you'll be sure to use a condom!

Nigerian woman arrested for stabbing her husband to death in the US

35 year old Nigerian woman, Adebamiro Temitope, pictured left, has been arrested by the New Castle Police in Delaware, Philadelphia for stabbing her 37 year old Nigerian husband and father of her two children, Adeyinka Adebamiro to death over allegations of abuse and cheating.

The woman accused her husband of constant abuse and claimed he cheated on her with several women including her sister and their nanny's daughter.

 According to Delaware Online, neighbors alerted the police after screams and shouting was heard emanating from the couple's home in the 1300 block of Healy Courton in New castle on Thursday April 23rd.

When the police got to their home, they found Adeyinka in the pool of his blood with a 4 inch single stab wound just below his neck which severed his carotid artery and jugular vein.


Temitope told the police during interrogation that she and her late husband had been married for 10 years with two children and he'd abused her for most of their marriage.

 She said the real trouble between them started when she found out her husband was sleeping with her own sister as well as the daughter of their nanny and other women. She said that the nanny had lived with them for two years.

Temitope also told investigators her husband had sent her to Nigeria for several months and after returning in December, she had to stay in a hotel near the Philadelphia airport for four days because her husband refused to let her into their Red Lion home.

He then paid for her to fly back to Nigeria for a few more months, according to documents. About this time, she learned that her husband had spent Christmas with the nanny's daughter.

The husband later flew out to Nigeria and flew back with her to Philadelphia. As he showed her the cameras inside their home over his cellphone, Temitope saw the nanny's daughter inside the home, documents claim.

At one point, Temitope saw several texts and images in her husband's phone, which she took pictures of using her cellphone. Some of the pictures included images of her sister and the nanny's daughter. The documents do not detail the images beyond that.

As the investigation drew to the night before the killing, police learned the couple had been talking and watching television on the couch about 9 p.m. Wednesday. Temitope and her husband began arguing after he discovered the photos she'd taken on her cellphone and he began erasing them, according to court papers.

As he yelled at her, Temitope told police there was a power outage at which time she went to the kitchen until power returned, according to documents.
Investigators checked with Delmarva Power, which indicated no such power outage occurred at that time, police said.

Temitope then told police that when the power returned, she found her husband in the first-floor bedroom lying in the bed. As she got closer to him, she saw a knife on the ground which she picked up and took to the kitchen. according to documents.

As she put it away, she noticed blood on the tip and that's when she realized that he was stabbed, the papers said.

While not admitting to the killing, the court papers claim Temitope changed her story several times about what happened in the bedroom, including to say that she entered first and her husband followed her in with the knife but that he later dropped it.

Temitope suggested that her husband stabbed himself, according to the papers. The autopsy, according to the papers, said the homicide was a single stab wound just below the victim's neck, about 2 inches off the center line. The stab was 4 inches deep and severed the victim's carotid artery and jugular vein.

When police told Temitope that this was not a suicide, the woman "began nodding her head in agreement," according to court documents.

Temitope was charged with first-degree murder and other charges. She was arraigned and committed to the Baylor Women's Correctional Institution where she is being held without bail.

Army Detains Policemen Without Food For Refusing To Wear Military Uniform.

Ten counter-terrorism police officers attached to the Nigeria army peacekeeping forward operation base in Abuja are currently unlawfully detained at a military barrack in Gwagwalada, Abuja, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt.

The personnel were locked up since Tuesday without food and medical care for refusing to wear military fatigues for an operation they feared could be illegal.

According to the detainees, they were detained on the instruction of a Colonel Kalejaye, head of the army forward operation base, because they refused his directive to “impersonate” soldiers by wearing their uniforms for a training in Kaduna State.

Some of the detainees told PREMIUM TIMES the Colonel wanted to send them for training at War College, Jaji, Kaduna State, without the knowledge of the Nigeria police authority that deployed them in the first instance.

One of the policemen said he and his colleagues were kept in a cell without food or water for three days, and that they were denied health care.

“We told them that as policemen, we are not entitled to wear military uniforms, unless, we need a corporate signal from our IGP or our authority at force headquarters, that will enable us to go for the operation,” he said.“Even as I’m talking to you, our luggages are in Jaji now, so we told the Colonel that, as a policeman, we have our own law, you have your law, and we cannot do anything without signal.”

The source said after their complaint, the colonel gave an order that they be moved to the police headquarters in Abuja.Midway, they were instead taken to an army barrack in Gwagwalada, called Special Force barrack, 172 battalion.“

From there, they now moved us to Gwagwalada in one bush, and the barrack is under construction. So when we got there, we said we are not entering into this cell except a senior police officer is here with a detention order.

“Before we knew it, they mobilized more troops about 50, with arms, and started molesting us, beating us, to the extent that some of our men were wounded, some complained that they have ulcer, they did not answer.

 They just packed all of us inside the cell, no toilet, no food, where we are sleeping is where we pee,” he told PREMIUM TIMES.

The police officers were part of the team sent to Russia for counter terrorism training, this paper understands.Since their return December 2014, they had been camped at the UN peace-keeping camp in Abuja, before they were given instructions to dress as soldiers for a training.The officers were nominated by the National Security Adviser’s office for the Russian course.

The latest returnees were the third batch, numbering between 45 or 46.Only 10 were asked to wear uniforms.PREMIUM TIMES could not establish the exact details of the training or assignment in Jaji.Pressed on the nature of assignment they were instructed by the army to go for, the police officers, who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES, said.

“Because we don’t know that is why we insist(ed) that the police authority must be aware before we proceed for any movement or put on military uniform because we believe that wearing army uniform without approval is tantamount to impersonation, illegal and unconstitutional,” he said.

The spokesperson for the Nigeria Police, Emmanuel Ojukwu, confirmed that the police were aware of the matter and were investigating it.“We are aware and we are looking into it, that’s all I can say,” Mr Ojukwu said on the phone, before abruptly ending the call.

This paper could not reach the Army spokesperson, Sani Usman, a colonel, as repeated calls to his telephone lines were unanswered.
