Pres. Buhari, Pope Francis Participate In Plenary Session At UN Summit

President Muhammadu Buhari participated at the opening plenary meeting of the united nations summit for the Adoption of the Post-2015 development Agenda at the General Assembly Hall during the 70th UN general Assembly today in  New York.
The President who was accompanied by NSA Maj Gen. Babagana Monguno, Dr Kayode Fayemi and Prof Joy Ogwuwas also in attendance as Pope Francis delivered his speech later in the day.
The Catholic Leader is currently in the United States on an historic visit to resolve many issues ranging from global warming to insecurity issues around the world.
Permanent Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Paul Bulus Z. Lolo also accompanied the president on this Visit.
