A woman has told a court how she was tricked into sleeping with a female pal who allegedly pretended to be a man by using a fake penis.
Chester Crown Court also heard from an impact statement where the alleged victim said she was left feeling "sick" after discovering she had been sleeping with a woman.
Gayle Newland, 25, of Hooton Road in Willaston, Neston, is charged with five counts of sexual assault
The court head how the woman claimed the sex toy was attached to Newland and hidden by clothing, but Mr Power claimed there was no way it could have been mistaken for a real penis.
The alleged victim told the court: "I thought I was having sex with a guy, I wanted to have sex with a guy, I wanted a relationship with a guy."
Later, the court was read an impact statement from the woman where she told of suffering from post traumatic stress disorder.
She said: "If it was a guy I would have found some way to get through it, but I can't believe I was sleeping with a woman all that time, it makes me feel sick."
The trial continues.
