A fatal accident occurred this morning March 17th around 6:50am along General Hospital Road, Ikorodu. The disaster happened when a tanker carrying fuel lost control and ran into a popular cow market known as Odo-eran and burst into flames. Boko Haram Has Legitimate Grievances-obasanjo.

FORMER President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that Boko Haram insurgents have legitimate grievances, a report in The Cable on Monday said.Criticising the response of the current administration to the Boko Haram insurgency in some parts of the North, Obasanjo highlighted low level of education as a contributory factor.

The ex-President spoke on Monday during a global education conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.“They (Boko Haram) have legitimate grievances,” he told IBTimes United Kingdom.“We don’t need anyone to tell us that that is a problem: a problem of disparity, a problem of marginalisation.“The response of the government initially was definitely not enough.


When Boko Haram started showing their fangs about four years ago, the reaction should have been firm and unmistakable,” he added.Obasanjo reiterated his carrot-and-stick approach to solving the insurgency by the sect, adding that the heat that the sect was facing from the military at the moment could force it to dialogue with the government.“

If Boko Haram is ready to talk, we should talk. But they will need to be pounded a little bit by the military and then, they would be ready to talk,” he said.Obasanjo added, “When we were dealing with the carrot aspect, the stick aspect should have been firm.


I hope with that, we will now go the carrot; the carrot is those things rightly or wrongly perceived as injustice or grievances that can now be dealt with.“

But the false confidence of the militants to go into Chad, Niger and neighbouring countries has now led to a regional coalition of military and that has been reasonably effective; it has not completely solved the problem.”

AGN IBINABO FIBERESIMA & AGN REACT TO COURT ORDER AGAINST HER AS AGN PRESIDENT ......

Ibinabo Fiberesima & AGN React to Court Order against Her as AGN President.

Here is the official release from AGN:The National Executive Council of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, received news of the judgement of a Federal High Court in Lagos on the 16th March 2015 , which annulled the election of November 2012 which brought Ibinabo Fiberesima into office.

While we shall abide by the judgement of the High Court, we shall be guided by the Constitution of the Guild which stipulates that there shall be no vacuum in the leadership of the Guild.

In view of this, Ibinabo Fiberesima remains the National leader of the AGN as the court did not declare Emeka Ike President of the guild.

 However, the Registered Board of Trustees has gone to the Appeal Court to challenge the judgement. Chief Ibinabo Fiberesima urges her members, supporters and teaming fans to remain calm and peaceful as AGN remains one family.

This judgement has not in any ways affected the resolve of Chief Ibinabo to take the Guild to the next level.

Tyrese is worried sick his ex-wife is going to take their child away from him permanently by fleeing to Israel.

He filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which he pleads with a judge to put the brakes on Norma Gibson's decision to vacation in Israel with 7-year-old Shayla.

 Norma is an Israeli citizen and under the law she's allowed to stay in Israel permanently ... the country won't do anything to help the other parent.

Tyrese tried to get Norma to sign a contract promising to return Shayla by a certain date and if she violated the deal she'd lose custody. Norma refused to sign.The trip is planned for March 27.

 The matter is now before a family court mediator who will set the ground rules.

NIGERIAN MOPOL FIGHTING ALONGSIDE THE MILITARY IN NORTH EAST.......

Nigerian MOPOL Fighting Alongside The Military In North East.

We have to also praise the Gallantry displayed by our Mobile Police Force, MOPOL in the North East as we also praise our ever faithful, gallant soldiers.

 The jubilant MOPOL men are part of those currently occupying Gujba. Following the liberation of Gujba,more MOPOL men were sent in to man the area while the military continued their push towards Gonori, the last BH-controlled town in Yobe State which was also liberated yesterday.

We would like to specially acknowledge the gallantry of MOPOL 41 Squadron, Damaturu, a unit which is top-heavy with really brave guysarmed with just AK-47 rifles.[/bSimilarly MOPOL 6 Squadron inMaiduguri and MOPOL 52 Squadron Bama deserve acknowledgment.

Concerning visiting MOPOL units, MOPOL 8 Squadron, JOS and MOPOL 27 Squadron Kastina have all ondifferent occasions exhibited gallantry in the face of grave danger.

Since the start of this insurgency, MOPOL 41 Squadron DAMATURU have lost their Commander while MOPOL 6 Squadron in Maiduguri have lost their 2ic. May their souls rest in perfect peace.

"The death of Lukman. J. Mohammad, a young man working with FCMB is another lost to my dear state, his death came in a week after the death of Abduljalal A Dauda, a friend of ours and an active member of the Civil Society Organizations who was the Chairman, National Youth Council Gombe State Chapter.

One may want to know why I am trying to lump these issues together! In the first place, each of the ugly development has a peculiarity which arise suspicion. In essence, there are unusual circumstance surrounding the death of the 2 young men.

Abduljalal A Dauda died in a hotel in Bauchi, it was reported that, he was not seen for long hours, which appeared to be quiet unusual of him. After several hours, the management of the Hotel made effort to find out if all was well with him.

They broke into his room and discovered his dead body in the bathroom. Suddenly, his family including his friends and the authorities resigned to fate and accepted that he may have easily fallen down and that was his end.


Here we are again, the families and the authorities are refusing to look into the death of Lukman J. Muhammad who drove his brother's car in the evening hours within Gombe metropolis and suddenly ran into a security light at the middle of the road.

 Everyone, including the family concluded it was a mere accident. It was when the body of Lukman was being prepared for funeral that, it was discovered he was shut by two bullets through his back.
Such discovery prompted some sort of findings on what could had happen to him.

Some individuals that went to conduct preliminary investigation got to the scene and asked people around, an eye-witness confirmed that the Police on patrol shut a driver in a car, the car lost control and rammed into scrutiny light and he saw when they quickly towed the car instead of moving the driver to the hospital.

They went to the Police Station to see the vehicle, alas! There were pieces of bullets and 2 holes on the driver's seat (as you can see on the picture and the body of the deceased).


Another disturbing aspect of the whole issue is the manner at which the Police hurriedly put up a written statement, claiming that the Driver of the car was overspeeding and lost control, then at the cause of the accident, a metal in the car pierced through his back and killed him.


Contrary to the statement of those Police men that puts up such lie, the photos here speak volume of what had happened.

GOVERNOR DANKWAMBO MUST SIT UP, OPEN UP PROPER INVESTIGATION OF THIS MATTER, AND THAT OF ABDULJALAL IN BAUCHI. THE POLICE MUST ALSO PRESENT THE KILLER OF LUKMAN BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.  I AM CALLING ON ORGANIZATIONS TO KINDLY LOOK INTO THIS TREND AND PRESSURE THE AUTHORITIES TO UNVEIL THE KILLERS OF LUKMAN AND ABDULJALAL.

Check this out :According to a report by Punch, during a women’s wing rally in Ado Ekiti yesterday Monday March 16th, the first lady said she's not ready to feed her husband in prison as that was what APC will do if they get into power.

 Talking about APC, Mrs Jonathan said;
"What did they forget in Aso rock? If you vote PDP and Jonathan, it would be better for you. If you vote APC, you will go to prison. How can you jail somebody for 300 years? I’m not ready to carry food to my husband inside prison oh!”
