MUM DUMPS BABY TO ATTEND PARTY!
Police have arrested the mother of a 2-month-old baby who was found abandoned next to a railway line in Cullinan, east of Pretoria.
The 23-year-old woman was arrested this morning for child neglect.
Police spokesperson Constable Connie Moganedi said the woman came to the police station and reported that her child was stolen.
“She claimed her baby was stolen but she eventually confessed that she left her baby next to the railway line – apparently she wanted to attend a party,” said Moganedi.
On Saturday, Moganedi said two men aged between 17 and 22 approached Cullinan police, carrying the infant.
“The males reported that they found an infant, wrapped with a baby blanket, lying on his stomach, next to the railway line crying bitterly."
The mother is expected to appear in court sometime this week, she said.
News24 reported on Monday morning that the baby had found a new home at a children's home in Pretoria.

BABY SNATCHED FROM BED WHILE MOTHER SLEEPS!
A 1-MONTH-old baby was abducted in the middle of the night on Wednesday while sleeping with his mother in their Mandela Village home in Hammanskraal.
The 20-year-old mother only realised that the child was gone when the grandmother went into the room to enquire about him.
According to a source that is close to the case, the 74-year-old grandmother woke up in the early hours of Thursday morning to go to the bathroom. It was then that she saw the baby’s blanket on the floor.

"Police went to his home and questioned him, but he said he did not know anything about the incident. At this stage we don't have have any suspects," he said.

Catholic Diocese investigate 'bleeding' communion wafer being hailed as miracle by believers in Utah
Faithful followers claim the sacramental bread 'bled' for three days following communion at St. Francis Xavier Church in Kearns, Salt Lake City, after it was placed in glass of water.
Now news of the 'miracle' has reached the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City which is investigating the incident.
Catholics believe the wafer, also referred to as the host or sacramental bread, becomes the body of Jesus Christ in the Catholic communion ceremony. It is consumed with wine which is transformed into his blood.
The so-called miracle began after a young parishioner returned his host to the priest at St. Francis Xavier Church during communion, who then placed it in a glass of water, Fox 13 reported.
Once consecrated a host is sacred and therefore Catholics believe a leftover or unwanted wafer must not be simply thrown away but should be dissolved in water until it no longer has the appearance of bread. It can then be poured down a special sink which drains onto the ground rather than a sewer.
However, on this occasion, the priest claims that not only did the thin wafer stay intact, it began to turn blood red.
News quickly spread and believers from across the community began flocking to the church to see the 'miracle' on display.
The Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City has now seized the host and is investigating the incident. there are no current plans to return the wafer to public display.
Monsignor M. Francis Mannion, head of the committee, said: 'Recently, reports of a bleeding host at St. Francis Xavier Church in Kearns have been circulating within the diocese.
Last year, the sight of the 'weeping' sculpture in Griffith, Indiana, led many to believe it was a sign from god.

Pastor, 60 marries his pregnant girlfriend, 19, with the blessing of his wife, 44, with both women to live in different wings of Ohio home
A 60-year-old pastor has married his 19-year-old girlfriend with the full support of his 44-year-old wife - and now his teen bride is pregnant.
Thom Miller, a former mafia enforcer who found god in prison, is now building a new house in their hometown of Mansfield, Ohio, with one wing for each wife.
Belinda, 44, and Reba, 19, claim to both be perfectly happy with a life of polygamy, but Reverend Miller stresses that he is the only person in their relationship allowed to have more than one partner.
While Rev. Miller finished building their new home, his wives takes turns in living with him, spending three nights each with him on rotation.
Rev. Miller runs a ministry which visits prisons and also has his own church in Mansfield, which is where he married 19-year-old Reba.
Rev. Miller and Belinda had talked about polygamy after their wedding seven years ago, but the idea became reality when they met Reba Kerfoot, whom he had known since she was a child.
Ms Kerfoot said: 'At first my family thought that what we were doing was not right. They didn't think it was proper for me to be with a man that was already married.
'But they started to come around and now they're happy as they know I am happy.
'One friend said it was weird for me to marry him when he has another wife but said she would support me no matter what.
'Having to share him with another woman can be kind of upsetting at times.
'But I try not to get jealous and when it's not my time with Thom I just try to occupy myself by going out friends.
'The baby will have two moms which I'm okay with.'
Mrs Miller said: 'We kind of make jokes about the baby and where he or she will sleep because we've got two separate master suites - in case mommy Reba needs a break then mommy Belinda can have the baby for the night.'
'I'm definitely excited there's going to be a little human part of us, part of the family,' Rev. Miller added.
The couple got close to Ms Kerfoot while volunteering at a soup kitchen and she moved in with them shortly after.
Rev. Miller was a friend of Ms Kerfoot's family and knew her when she was younger but claims he was surprised when they met again and she had become a woman.
Rev. Miller added: 'I've known Reba for a long time, then she moved away and I hadn't seen her for years.
'I caught something because she hugged me and I wanted to keep hugging her and I realised, wow, I'm really appreciating this woman.'
The pair married at Thom's church just seven years after he had the exact same ceremony with Belinda.
Rev. Miller admits that he does not have the full support of his congregation in Mansfield, but makes no secret of his alternative lifestyle.
He said: 'I don't preach about polygamy but I feel it is a very Christian lifestyle.
'I have no problem with homosexuals but I think it's wrong that their marriage is now recognised by the state but my second marriage is not.
'I'm going to try and fight the bigotry of that - this is America and my wives and I have the right to live anyway we please - providing we're not hurting anybody.'
Rev.Miller grew up in a housing project in Cleveland and ended up working as an enforcer for the local mob, and leading a life of crime, drugs and violence.
Speaking to a local newspaper in 2003, he claimed to have been shot three times, been jailed more than 20 times and having fathered 12 children with five different women.
In 1991 he was jailed for stabbing a man in a bar fight and while in prison, he stole a bible and found God.
Upon his release seven years later he became an ordained minister and now runs a ministry that visits prisons and does international missionary work.

Nollywood Actress Sapphire Adaobi Obi Crushes On Pastor Chris Okotie
Fast-rising Nollywood actress Sapphire Adaobi Obi in a recent interview with Nigeriafilms.com, talked about her debut in Nollywood, her parents’ opinion of her career, marriage in which she mentioned Pastor Chris Okotie as her crush.
Below is an excerpt from the interview;
So can we get to know more about you and how acting started for you?
I am from Ojoto in Idemili South LGA of Anambra state. Well I have been acting for more than seven years now. Though I took a break to have my kids from 2011 to 2013 but came back 2014 and I have been on since then. It’s been a battle but I have been through it believing that I will be noticed for my talent one day and it’s all getting better. Currently studying business admin in Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). I was born 22nd march. I grew a better part of my life in Aba, Abia state, before I came to Lagos in 2007 to act. I attended lots of audition yet no one noticed me. I actually landed the big one in 2009, with Fidelis Duker’s ‘Girls Next Door.’ From the year I started acting up until 2009 it’s been like a joke, no real jobs. It was Fidelis Duker’s ‘Girls Next Door’ that made me feel like I’m getting there. Later then I got married, had two boys and the roles started coming in. Will I say my kids gave me luck or that God has a way of favoring you when you have responsibilities?
Can you mention some of the movies you have featured in?
I have done lots and lots of Nollywood flicks like, Anambra Women, Royal Mission, Amarachi, Juju, Black Forest, Village Captains, Okombo, Stubborn Hunters, Caro The Iron Bender, with the latest flick, Boss is Mine, which is a comedy movie, produced and directed by Okechukwu Oku and will be premiered in London, USA, and Nigeria by January 2016.
So, what was your parent’s opinion on your choice of career?
The soil was carefully prepared; the seeds were planted years in advance. When you have a child you know is born with a gift you give her all the support to go into the world and achieve great feats. My parents believed in my talent so much and everything I say in that house is echoed by everyone that’s the power of belief. When you have everyone sees it even your parents.
Are you ready to give marriage another chance and can you marry an entertainer?
I can never settle with an entertainer. I will prefer to marry a pastor. Pastors are my crush and I’m currently crushing on Chris Okotie (Laughs).
Are you saying you are ready to marry a pastor if the opportunity comes?
Yes, why not, that’s my fantasy. In a world full of chaos and discontentment, being in the arms of one who loves God and prophesies, will be more than soothing.
Rev KukahKukah says ' Muslim elites in the North laid the foundation for Boko Haram'
“A hypocritical elite continues to believe that it can claim the benefits of democracy but use it only to consolidate its hold on power. This is what has laid the foundation for what is now Boko Haram. We must locate the current crisis of Boko Haram within the context of the inability of the northern Muslim elite to live by their own dubious creed of being Muslims. They preached Sharia Law but only for the poor. They preach a religion that encourages education, yet their own people are held in the bondage of ignorance. They came to power on the basis of a democratic society but they turned around and declared Sharia to generate a false consciousness among the poor that they want a theocracy. They did not wish to live by the same standards, so they decided to live their own Islam in the capitals of the world away from the prying eyes of their own people. Boko Haram began as a revolt against this mendacity, subterfuge and hypocrisy. Now, I hear Muslims in northern Nigeria hiding under the cover of the facts by saying: ‘These Boko Haram people are not Muslims. They do not represent us’. Well, first, they are your own children. You must take responsibility for what has made them what they are today and to the rest of society. They claim they have been inspired by the Quran and no other holy book. They say they want to build an Islamic state. So, they are Muslims. After all, from the debates of the Constituent Assemblies of 1979, 1988, and 1995 and beyond, did their fathers and grandfathers not stage walkouts, demanding Sharia Law? Was it not to tame them that President Ibrahim Babangida declared what he called ‘no-go areas’ in the debates about our constitution? “The promise to institute Sharia has become the most potent tool for political mobilisation and organisation. Till date, the tactics may have changed, but the essence has not. Rather than face the tough questions of how and why over 15 million children in the northern states are on the streets; how and why the northern states are falling behind on almost every index of development, the northern Muslim elite continues to live for just the moment, with no plans for tomorrow. Should we pretend that a society that allows the forced marriages of its young daughters could frown on the idea of a group kidnapping and forcing young girls into sexual slavery? Islam must have an honest look at the mirror and have an internal discussion.”he said
