THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SEX DRIVE CLAIMS RESEARCHER ..........

Hello guys,

There is no such thing as sex drive, researcher claims - but 90% of women are not spontaneous in the bedroom (while 70% of men are)

A leading psychologist has claimed that what we think of as sex drive is wrong - and that it is very uncommon among women.Researchers say that in fact, what we think of as sex drive is 'spontaneous desire'.

However, it is claimed that while 70 per cent of men typically experience spontaneous desire, just 10 to 20 per cent of women have spontaneous desire as their primary desire style.

THE TWO TYPES OF DESIRE

When we see an attractive sexual image or person, it activates an internal craving or urge for sex known as 'spontaneous desire'. 'responsive desire', only emerges in response to arousal -

Researchers have begun to understand that sexual response is not the linear mechanism they once thought it was.'

The previous model, originating in the late ’70s, described a lack of “sexual fantasies and desire for sexual activity.” It placed sexual desire first, as if it were a hunger, motivating an individual to pursue satisfaction.'

But it turns out many people (perhaps especially women) often experience desire as responsive, emerging in response to, rather than in anticipation of, erotic stimulation.

'Arousal first, then desire.'Both desire styles are normal and healthy.

Neither is associated with pain or any disorder of arousal or orgasm.'

SURVIVOR FROM KENYA MASSACRE EMERGES ............

Hello guys ,

Survivor From Kenya Massacre Emerges After Two Days In Wardrobe.

A survivor of Kenya's university massacre who hid in a wardrobe for two days too terrified to come out was rescued safely Saturday, dehydrated but apparently unharmed, Kenya Red Cross said."

A survivor has been discovered, she was hiding in a wardrobe," Kenya Red Cross spokeswoman Arnolda Shiundu told AFP."She has been taken to hospital and she's currently undergoing assessment by doctors.

"The 19-year old woman was initially too scared to come out until a university lecturer she knew came to convince her that the police officers were not the Shebab gunmen who carried out the killing of nearly 150 of her fellow students, police said.

"She is the latest survivor, she has been hiding in a wardrobe for two days," a police officer involved in the security operation said, who asked not to be name. "

That is when she came out of the wardrobe and rushed to hospital."The student, who was rescued on Saturday morning, some 50 hours after the attack began.

The gunmen were killed on Thursday evening. The BBC said she told them she drank "body lotion when she felt hungry."

Kenyan troops searching the building were alarmed when they heard sounds coming from inside a wardrobe."She kept asking for reassurance from the security forces they were not Al-Shebab before she could come out," the police officer said."

She was given milk and rushed to the Garissa hospital, where she is being observed before being given counselling."

Four survivors were also found on Friday, Shiundu said.Source:

ETCETERA SAYS IN HIS ARTICLE "NOBODY SHOULD CELEBRATE BUHARI".........

Hello guys,

Nobody should celebrate Buhari - Etcetera writes

Another article from singer turned writer, Etcetera.

 Read below...

Why are we dancing? Why do we keep rolling out the drums each time we have a new government, only for us to start crying few months down the line?

Is it that we are too quick to forget or we just love to dance? Do you celebrate a child who’s about to write his exams or the one who has written and passed? What is this jubilation for?

Because I really don’t understand. Is it that the election of Buhari in itself has suddenly alleviated our sufferings?

I am really confused here, hearing how six bikers lost their lives in Zaria celebrating Buhari’s victory.

One would think that a people who have been shortchanged for so long by past presidents will know better to be calm and take every word of the new president with a pinch of salt until he proves to be different.

This process is becoming an unending circle, again and again we’ve danced and again and again, we’ve cursed and cried at the end. It is still shocking to me that a lot of Nigerians fell for the story that the president was born without shoes.

Was anyone born with shoes on? Buhari’s triumphant entry into the presidency last Sunday which coincidentally was a palm Sunday doesn’t yet prove he is the redeemer.

Just like the second coming of our supposed political messiah Obasanjo didn’t prove any significant improvement in our lives.

We all thought he was the one anointed by the gods to take us by the hands and lead us right straight into the promised land, where we shall have no more gnashing of teeth.

But when he left office, the roads were still as bad as they were before he took office. The hospitals were still without facilities and most importantly, he failed to defeat the demon in the power sector even with billions of dollars thrown at it.

The demons in the same power sector have claimed Jonathan just like they did Yar’Adua, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Sanni Abacha, Shonekan, IBB and Shagari.

Even Buhari himself had already been defeated by this demon before. So what says it is not going to be the same this time around. Remember obasanjo was defeated twice by this same demon.

Why won’t our leaders take us for granted when they’ve noticed that we are always ready to jump to our feet and “judile” with the announcement of every new regime?

When Buhari overthrew the democratically elected government of Shehu Shagari in 1983, many of you reading this took to the streets to boogie down.

When Babangida sent Buhari packing a couple of months later, a lot more of you got drunk and vomited all over the place.

Even Abacha’s sudden death brought smiles on the faces of most bar owners across the country as they ran out of booze.

Is something wrong with us as a people? We are forgetting a very important fact that this election proves that we are and will still remain a divided people. We are divided by our ideologies with no realistic integration in sight.

The election has also reinforced the thinking that we are divided by regional, tribal and religious interests and not national. These are some of the significant issues that will define our tomorrow.

Finally, some of you who are reading this may be saying, oh Etcetera, can’t you be optimistic for once? My brother, I can’t.

Optimism and its younger brother, hope have proven to be very dangerous especially in Nigeria. They have sent millions of Nigerians to their early graves.

What is the point of being optimistic in a system that has always left me in tears and heartache? Or is it till I get arrested by Mr. Cardiac? Tufiakwa!

But after months of fighting, they have finally made up and are working things out, all thanks to the advice of John Cena, 37. Yes, that’s right. WWE Superstar John Cena helped Wiz get back together with Amber.

Wiz talked to John before his performance on the March 9 episode of Monday Night Raw, sources EXCLUSIVELY tell HollywoodLife.com. During this conversation, Wiz was reminded of his connection to Amber, which ultimately resulted in him reaching out to her!“Wiz is a real good friend of John’s.

He talked to him and a few other guys on a serious level about [“Go Hard Or Go Home”] and how it made him think about his family and Amber,” according to HollywoodLife.com

Apparently, the more that Wiz talked to John and the other wrestlers about this song, the more he realized how he needed to change his ways and how he thought about his ex.

After he was done talking with John, Wiz contacted Amber and asked her to watch hisRaw performance.

Should Wiz And Amber Get Back Together?

“He wanted her to see his performance and listen to it so they could be on a level where no hard feelings were being shared.

The gesture of having her listen to the song was the only thing he has done to get them to talk more and actually start the reconciliation process,” the source said, adding, “It was his conversation with John and the others that was the start of everything.”

Has the flame been relit for Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa? Thethe pair have realized that the love they have for one another doesn’t come often and are ready to try again. Wow!

Amber Rose, 30, and ex Wiz Khalifa‘s, 27, relationship hasn’t been on the best of terms since their divorce, but has that finally come to a halt?

learned that they’re ready to put the past behind them and do what’s best for their two-year-old son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.

More ...........

Amber wants Wiz back in her life so much so, that all the photos she’s posted of her curves on Instagram were purposefully meant for him!

She wanted him to see exactly what he was missing out on, and she thinks that he finds it hard to resist her charms. She’s really hoping they’ll get back together.

Her desperate attempts to work things out with Wiz are mostly for the sake of their 2-year-old son, Sebastian, though.

“She doesn’t want Sebastian to grow up in a single-parent family,” our source adds. “She thinks it’s important that they try and work things out for his sake.”

NIGERIA WILL BE AFRICA'S FIRST GLOBAL SUPERPOWER......

Hello guys ,

Nigeria Will Be Africa's First Global Superpower .

South Africa has many attributes that make it a worthy representative of Africa on the world stage, but is set to lose its first place. If Nigeria plays its cards right, it could become Africa’s only global superpower.

It already has the continent’s biggest economy, a huge military budget and a fair record of regional engagement.By 2040 it will also be the fourth largest country in the world after India, China and the United States.

New research by the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) shows that out of Africa’s “Big Five” powerful countries – Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Algeria and Ethiopia – Nigeria is “the African country with by far the greatest capabilities” to play a global role.

The choice of the Big Five is based on the demographic, economic and military size of these countries, as well as their historical role as regional leaders, Johannesburg-based newspaper, the Mail & Guardian, quoted the ISS as stating.South Africa is the only African member of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) and the G20, but it is not expected to grow in power and influence internationally and in Africa.

Dr. Jakkie Cilliers, executive director of the ISS and one of the co-authors of the REPORT, says South Africans sometimes have the misguided impression that the country is a big military power and plays a major role in peacekeeping in Africa.Spending on defence has, however, been drastically reduced, as shown in the recent defence review.

It contributes fewer peacekeepers to United Nations missions than Ethiopia, Egypt and Nigeria.“In fact, Algeria is spending the most on its military, Ethiopia is the major peacekeeper on the continent and Egypt has the biggest diplomatic power,” says Cilliers.

South Africa’s economy is not projected to grow nearly as much as the rest of Africa.

Population growths are much higher elsewhere on the continent, particularly in Nigeria, where it is projected to grow from 170 million to 320 million by 2040.“South Africans don’t appreciate the huge size of Nigeria’s economy,” says Cilliers.

Nigeria’s gross domestic product (GDP) is projected to grow from $525 billion in

2014 to $4.2 trillion by 2040.Added to South Africa’s woes are “legitimacy problems on the continent”.“South Africa can be heavy-handed when it comes to diplomacy and there is a sense that South Africa speaks more than it listens in Africa,” says Cilliers.

The ISS concludes that of the Big Five, South Africa and Ethiopia are “punching above their weight”, while Nigeria and Algeria are “punching below” theirs.Egypt is punching above its weight internationally – it has a very strong voice in the Middle East – but low in Africa.

The inclusion of Ethiopia in the Big Five is controversial because it is, according to the ISS, “an authoritarian and repressive state” and in 2014 had the 11th lowest GDP per capita in Africa. However, it is growing fast and has become “a poster child for development in Africa”.

It hosts the headquarters of the African Union and is the largest African contributor to UN peace missions.Algeria is also not living up to its potential given that it has by far the biggest military in Africa.

Nigeria, hampered largely by domestic problems of governance and insecurity, is also under-performing. Nigeria’s military spending has, for example, increased dramatically, with an additional budget of $1 billion approved last year, but this has all been earmarked for the fight against Boko Haram.

Even as last weekend’s elections in Nigeria, dubbed the most important in its history, went off smoothly, it still doesn’t mean it has made the transition to a sophisticated and mature democracy, says Cilliers.“

Nigeria is the only power with the potential to be globally significant but it does not have a coherent foreign policy and its massive security and governance issues are detracting from this potential,” he says.

South Africa, on the other hand, has made this transition and has many attributes that make it a worthy representative of Africa on the world stage, says Cilliers. But, if the status quo prevails, South Africa will lose its place in pole position.

Angola and Morocco are important players on the continent with huge economies, but Angola is a “purely resource-driven economy” with huge inequalities and lack of democracy, while Morocco is not a member of the AU.
