Adrianne Lewis, from Michigan, says her tongue is an unbelievable four inches long, giving her the unique ability to not only lick her nose, chin and elbow but also - shockingly - her eye. Her reptile-like appendage has gained global recognition after a photo of it went viral online.

The current record holder, who Adrianne hopes to knock off his top spot, is Nick Stoeberl who has a tongue measuring 3.9 inches

Ghanaian man dresses in a suit to sell water melon on the streets

Pictured above is Daniel Nartey, a Ghanaian man who dresses in a suit to hawk water melon around Madina in Ghana's capital, Accra to eke a living.

When asked why he dresses this way, Daniel said;
"My pastor always says dress well no matter the job you do, so I decided to wear a suit.

Some laugh at me, others encourage me and are willing to help me"
Daniel says his dressing gives him an edge which helps him make 100 % profit after sales
"I make 100% profit. I think it is because of how I dress, people notice me easily and want to buy from me," Mr Nartey said.


The 25-year-old is a primary school teacher and sells watermelon during weekends and when the school is on vacation. He is saving up to buy an oven and wants to one day own his own snack bar.

Three students were killed with at least twenty others injured when Boko Haram attackedthe college of Administrative and Business Study ( CABS), Potiskum in Yobe State.Vanguard gathered the insurgents stormed the school around 8:30am Friday.


A reliable source who witnessed the Book Haram onslaught said, the heavily armed insurgents numbering about five entered the school through the main gate after killing the security guard and opened fire on students killing three of them.The source added that, one of the insurgents died as a result of I.E.D strapped to his chest that exploded, and injured over twenty students.

South African man raped at gun point by 3 women so they could steal his sperm

A South African man has told how he was kidnapped and raped by three women in Cape Town.

The 33 year old man, whose identity is being kept away from the media, said the women had stopped him in their car to ask for directions and as he was talking to them, one of the women brought out a gun, and forced him into the back of their black BMW and drove away.

He said they drove him to an unknown place far from where they kidnapped him, then they began touching him to get aroused. When he didn't, because the only thing he said he felt then was fear, the women forced him to drink an 'unknown substance' from a bottle to make him hard.

He said all three women then took turns on him and when he came, they took his semen in plastic bags, placing them in a cooler box.

When they were done with him, they kicked him out of the car around Kwazakhele township, Port Elizabeth, and made off with his sperm.

The man reported the incident to the police who are now investigating. A South Africa police officer told local reporters what happened.


'As he was busy pointing out the directions, one lady came out and pointed a gun at him and forced him into the car.

They drove into a thoroughfare 500km away. They parked the car and fondled him to get an erection but his penis could not get erect.
'They then forced him to drink an unknown substance from a bottle.

This got him aroused quickly even though he was still scared and didn't want to have sex.
'This is really confusing to us because we have never heard of such a thing before.

The man was fully conscious throughout his ordeal and he is still traumatised.'

Jeanetta Riley, 35, a mother-of-three daughters was killed last July after she brandished a knife at two cops outside of a hospital in Sandpoint on the evening of July 8, 2014.

The troubled Native American woman, who was addicted to meth and alcohol, had been taken to the hospital by her husband, 44-year-old Shane, following threats she made to kill herself, according to the Guardian.

While parked outside of the emergency room of Bonner General Hospital, she pulled a knife from under the car seat featuring a three-and-a-half-inch blade, and was confronted by police before she was shot and killed.

In the video, Jeanetta is heard in an exchange with officers as they repeatedly tell her to put the knife down but she refuses before a commotion is heard and they shoot her.

What baby? Abby Wake, pictured, noticed her stomach was bigger but thought she had just gained weight and was bloated; her boyfriend discovered she was pregnant when he felt the baby kick.

Abby Wake, from North Hollywood, California, had no idea that she was pregnant, despite admitting to experiencing some discomfort in her stomach, a feeling she put down to food intolerance.

However, Abby’s boyfriend, Australian Jarryd Gorman, recently realized she might be well on her way to becoming a mom when he put his hand on her stomach during a concert and felt a kick.'

I felt the baby kick and I looked at her and said, "I think you're definitely pregnant,"' Jarryd told CBS Los Angeles. '[I said] we need to go see someone straight away.'

Before the discovery: This picture was taken the day that the couple found out they were expecting.

Abby claimed that she hadn't felt any symptoms of pregnancy - no morning sickness or back aches - and added that she had always experienced irregular periods.Her stomach had grown, but the actress assumed that she has just gained weight and was experiencing bloating.

Nebraska Baby, 11 Months, Found In Dumpster & Mom Found Murdered

So tragic. A crying 11-month-old baby was found in a dumpster by a man outside his apartment in Omaha, Nebraska on May 6. Even worse, his mother was found dead right beside him. And now, the baby’s 5-year-old brother has been reported missing.

It’s like a scene straight out of a horror movie. The mother of a 11-month-old baby, found crying in just a diaper, was discovered dead, police have revealed. Jesus Ismenia Marinero‘s body was allegedly pulled from a dumpster, where her baby, Angel Ramirez-Marinero, was also found, in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 6. And the deceased woman’s other son, a 5-year-old, remains missing at this time. Our hearts are seriously breaking.



Authorities believe Angel’s death was a homicide and that her 5-year-old son, Josue Ramirez-Marinero, is in danger, the Grand Island Independent reported. An amber alert has been issued, as police believe he was abducted.

Jesus’ husband was questioned by detectives, but no arrests have been made at this time.Josue was last seen at his day care center at 2324 S. 10th St. He has short black hair and was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray sweat pants.Anyone with information on the boy’s whereabouts is urged to call Omaha police at 402-444-5656.

Man Describes A ‘Very Disturbing, Very Upsetting’ Scene

This tragic case came to light after a man who lives at the Alpine Village Apartments in Omaha found the 11-month-old baby during the evening hours of May 6.

He originally thought he heard an animal screaming, but when he looked inside the dumpster, he saw Angel, wearing nothing but a dirty diaper, the Daily Mailreports.

 The man called me two days ago and told me about a contract worth about N1.5m, but I could not meet him because I was sick. The man later came to my residence in Lagos and still persuaded me to come for the deal. On getting to the Unity and Peace Estate, we headed for an uncompleted building.

One other person joined us. When we got to the building, I saw that the house had been plastered and the floor had been cemented.

 But both of them pounced on me, beat me up and attempted to rape me. I was having my monthly flow and that dissuaded them. They then tied my hands and legs, blindfolded and gagged me. They promised to come back at night to complete their assignment.

It was a miracle that passers-by rescued me.”she told Punch
The woman who was tied by the men was able to roll over to the main gate of the uncompleted building and was noticed by some passersby who raised alarm and she was freed.

Police men were later invited and they were able to discover two female decomposing bodies, skeletons and some fetish materials. Residents of the estate say they had noticed the foul smell around the building but thought it was from a poultry nearby.

Businessman killed during police stop and search in Lagos

A 48 year old businessman, Mr. Henry Dimoji was crushed to death during a police stop and search exercise along the Mile 2 axis of Lagos state on April 30th.

Punch reports that the deceased and his wife were returning from a wake keeping service in Festac town when they were stopped by a team of 4 policemen attached to the Rapid Response Squad, Ikeja for an unapproved stop and search exercise.



According to his wife, Linda, who was with him, when he was stopped, he appealed to the policemen for him to park properly on the road but they insisted that he comes down and open his booth on the road.

As he came down from his car, a tanker loaded with diesel lost control and dragged the deceased along the road, crushing him to death. The policemen fled the scene of the incident. Two of the policemen have since been arrested while two of them are currently at large.


A relative of the deceased simply identified as frank while speaking on the incident said
“When Dimoji got to the checkpoint, the policemen asked him to park and open his booth, but they did not allow him to park properly. He told them to allow him to park when one of them brought out a gun and threatened to shoot if Dimoji disobeyed. He then came out of the car to talk to the officers.

Hardly had he come down when the trailer approached. The trailer driver, who was probably aware of the illegal checkpoint, tried to speed past the policemen. In the process, the trailer hit Dimoji in the thigh and dragged on the road for a few metres. When the policemen saw this, they entered their van and fled. The wife started screaming and calling for help.

 It was even the trailer driver and the conductor who stopped and assisted to rush him to a hospital. We have been to the SCID, and the police boss assured us that justice would be done on the matter. I saw the policemen that mounted the illegal checkpoint.

They do not deserve to be in the Nigeria Police Force.”he said
The Lagos state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, while confirming the incident said “What the police are investigating is a case of a fatal accident, and the culpability of the officers in the incident. Two officers are in custody over the matter, and investigations are ongoing.”

Fuel Scarcity: We have 1.2bn litres of petrol in stock, says NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and its downstream subsidiary, the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC), said they had 1.2 billion litres of petrol in stock. This is contained in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by Mr Ohi Alegbe, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Department, NNPC.

The statement stated that the figure translated to 31 days sufficiency, going by the 40 million litres daily consumption of the product in the country. It explained that the Managing Director of PPMC, Mr Haruna Momoh, made the announcement in Abuja. It quoted Haruna as saying that “21 additional vessels laden with petroleum products are in offshore Lagos waiting to berth.

“NNPC has made adequate arrangements to ensure energy sufficiency in the country and reassured motorists that the noticeable queues at the filling stations would thin out in the days ahead”.

Momoh said that the NNPC also had 21 days sufficiency of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) otherwise known as diesel and 18 days sufficiency of Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK), otherwise known as kerosene.

He said that as part of efforts to ensure petroleum products’ sufficiency and distribution, the NNPC embarked on aggressive Reception Depots rehabilitation in 2011. “As at today, 18 depots out of the 23 depots have been fully recovered with the exception of Makurdi, Yola and Maiduguri due to the activities of pipeline vandals,” he said.

The PPMC MD disclosed that the corporation suffered petroleum products losses worth N40.8bn through pipeline vandalism in 2014. He said that no business could survive such a loss and still remained a growing concern. Momoh said there was a marginal increase in pipeline vandalism, stressing that in 2013, the corporation recorded 3,517 vandalised points but in 2014, the figure increased to 3, 774.

 He said that “as at today, 97 pipeline vandals are undergoing prosecution”. Momoh expressed regret that since the cases started a few years ago, none of the accused persons had been convicted for economic sabotage. He called on Nigerians from all walks of life, especially those living in communities where the pipelines run through, to protect them in national interest.
