Shocking but real :Meet the lady who was caught sleeping with a Mad man in other to boost her buisness

It is no news that Nigeria is well known for some crazy stories, This is one of those stories that you cannot only but imagine the guts and how crazy some ladies can be.

This lady (captured below) was  caught s!eeping with a mad man as a ritual procedure to attract customers to her business. She was not the only one that is involved in this type of business but unfortunately for her, she is the one who was caught in the shameful act.

HRC Chariman says 'FFK's article about herdsmen is a hate speech and a crime

The Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Chidi Odinkalu has described as a crime and a hate speech, an article titled "Herdsmen from Hell" which was released yesterday by two time minister, Femi Fani Kayode . In the article, Fani-Kayode described Fulani herdsmen as the east African tsetse fly that suck the life blood out of their hosts wherever they go..

"Like the locust, they destroy everything in their path. They are like leeches: they indulge in a parasitic mode of nutrition and they suck the blood of the carcass until their victim is left for dead. Like the Arab Janjaweed, they are only known for the most hideous of things. This includes terror, intimidation, theft, murder, rape, abduction, mutilation, the violation of the rights of others, the destruction of the land and crops of farmers and the destruction of property".
According to the chairman of NHRC this is unacceptable and must be stopped. He said the NHRC will be contacting the police over the article.

THE HERDSMEN FROM HELL
"Throughout history it has been the inaction of those who could have acted, the indifference of those who should have known better and the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most that has made it possible for evil to triumph"- His Royal Majesty Haile Selassie 1, Emperor of Ethiopia.

If there was ever a time to remember the words of Haile Selassie and speak out against evil this is it. With the abduction of the elder statesman and June 12th struggle hero,
Chief Olu Falae, from his home by a group of Fulani herdsmen in south western Nigeria it is time for us to seriously consider the expulsion of all Fulani herdsmen from the southern part of our country.
We thank God and commend the efforts of the Inspector-General of the Nigerian police that Chief Falae was returned home safely after a harrowing three days.
Given his status in Yoruba land, had this not been so there would have been cataclysmic consequences for the unity of our country.
It is because we wish to avoid such a scenario that it is important that we get these marauders and vandals out of our territory as quickly as possible.
This is especially so given the fact that, by Falae's testimony, it is clear that the Fulani herdsmen that abducted him were working hand in hand with Boko Haram.
These herdsmen have become the pests of our nation. They are like the east African tsetse fly: wherever they go they suck the life blood out of their hosts and, like the locust, they destroy everything in their path.
They are like leeches: they indulge in a parasitic mode of nutrition and they suck the blood of the carcass until their victim is left for dead.
Like the Arab Janjaweed, they are only known for the most hideous of things. This includes terror, intimidation, theft, murder, rape, abduction, mutilation, the violation of the rights of others, the destruction of the land and crops of farmers and the destruction of property.

Anyone that doubts this should ask the people of the north central zone what they have been suffering in the hands of these vagabonds and vagrants for the last 50 years. This is especially so in Plateau, Benue, Niger, Kwara, Nassarawa, Taraba and Adamawa states.
Yet up until 20 years ago this was essentially a northern problem and it did not affect the south. Sadly that has changed. It has now become a national plague that knows no boundaries and whose poison threatens to consume us all.
In the last few years the Fulani herdsmen have attacked, ravaged and pillaged many rural communities south of the River Niger and they have slaughtered and raped thousands of innocent people in the south-south, the south-east and the south-western zones of our country.
We recall how, after a violent clash between them and some Yoruba farmers in Oyo state in 2000, General Buhari (as he then was) led a strong delegation of northern leaders to see the late Governor of Oyo state, Governor Lam Adeshina. On arrival Buhari put the following question to him: "why are YOUR people killing MY people?" This was a classic case of a Freudian slip.
The Bible says ''out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks''. The general had spoken his mind. Governor Adeshina was shocked with disbelief and he responded by telling Buhari that he was rather surprised that a former Head of State would refer to one ethnic group as "his'' people whilst referring to another as someone elses'.
He said that this was especially so given the fact that people were killed on both sides of the divide in what was a sad and unfortunate conflict.
The insensitivity of Buhari to the Yoruba farmers and their plight in the hands of the Fulani raiders was noted from that moment on. Ever since that conversation took place the lines have been drawn and the south west has been on alert.
The abduction of Falae may well have brought things to a head because today virtually every self-respecting Yoruba man is calling for strong resistance to these alien cattle-rearers whose criminal activities have led to nothing but blood, tears and carnage.
If the government refuses to stop them then it is very clear that some communities may end up doing so themselves.
Yet there is an even more sinister dimension to this problem than most people care to admit. That dimension is best illustrated by the following question.

Can there be any truth in the assertion that the Fulani herdsmen are nothing less than the vanguard and covert armed wing of the Fulani ruling class which has managed to infiltrate the south under the ingenious guise of selling cows?
Are they sleeper cells of a much bigger army and a much wider cause? Are they, as Falae has suggested, working hand in hand with Boko Haram?
If a major conflict were to arise would those sleeper cells be activated and would they commence the wholesale slaughter of the indigenous population in their host states? As painful as it may appear these are questions that we must ask.
The fact that the herdsmen demanded for a 100 million naira ransom from Falae speaks volumes. The question is this: what do mere cattle-rearers want with 100 million naira?
Even more instructive is the fact that when they were offered 2 million naira they responded by saying that that amount would not be enough for Boko Haram.
Given all this it is clear to me that we must begin to look at the wider picture. We must accept the ugly reality that there may be more to all this than meets the eye.
This is especially so given the fact that up until the time of writing this piece not one of Falae's captors has been apprehended by the police and they seem to have vanished into thin air. One wonders what transpired. Were they granted amnesty or are they ghosts?

Can there be any truth in the suggestion that there was some kind of official collusion in the abduction? Was it an attempt to put Falae, and by extension the Yoruba, in their place for vigorously supporting the idea of a national conference?
Is it an attempt to intimidate those from the south west that opposed President Buhari in the 2015 presidential elections? If so it will not work.
Afenifere, the leading socio-cultural group of the south west of which Falae is a leading member, and the Yoruba people generally have a way of rising to the occasion when they are threatened, cheated or persecuted. History proves that.
Worthy of note are the words of Dr. Frederick Fasheun and Otunba Gani Adams, both leaders of the Odua Peoples Congress (OPC) in this matter. Only the unwise would ignore their counsel.

Another curious twist to the tale is the fact that it took the Buhari administration two days to make any formal announcement on Falae's abduction and just the day after they finally did so the elder statesman was suddenly released.

The question is this: who is pulling the strings from behind the scenes and who is attempting to test our resolve and test the waters?
Whatever the answer to these questions are one thing remains clear. The days of killing people with impunity and stripping them of their lands and possessions are long over.
The Fulani herdsmen may well believe that they have one of their own in the Villa today but that does not mean that they will get away with their murderous ways or their sheer impunity.
It is most unwise for them to continue to test the resolve of the people of the south in this way. I say this because collectively southerners are slow to anger but irresistible in battle.
When pushed to the wall they often indulge in what Dr. Amanze Obi, the respected columnist for Nigeria's Sun newspaper, once described as ''southern fury''.
Permit me to conclude this intervention with an interesting and relevant contribution from the famous British historian, writer and educationalist Dr. T.R. Batten. He wrote:
"The Fulani were at their most influential in Gobir. Then a dispute broke out between their Imam, Usman Dan Fodiyo and Sarkin Gobir Yunfa. The Fulani rallied behind their leader who encouraged them to defy their Hausa Chief. He began a jihad and fighting broke out. Thus the Fulani seized the country by force against the will of those who lived there. The enmity had nothing to do with religion for among those who fought (against the Fulani) were many Muslims. It was about the Fulani's wish to seize power from the Hausas."
It follows that the herdsman and those that they represent conquer by infiltration, assimilation and guile. Those that doubt this should find out what became of the ancient Hausa kingdoms. May God deliver us from the vagabonds and vagrants in our midst.

Meet the ladies of the Dubai R’uns Girls that Released Nude Videos of their Victims on Youtube

Five suspected members of a human trafficking ring, paraded by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, have confessed to taking two Nigerian girls to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, to become commercial s**ex workers.

The suspects | credits: Olaleye Aluko
They also admitted that they recorded the girls’ n**ude videos while they were taking oaths.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspects ─ Blessing Gabriel, 25; Precious Ejiro-Owoh, 29; Rose Gabriel, 25; Priscilla Bassey, 33; and 38-year-old Terry Smooth ─ were apprehended by the agency on September 8, 2015, while one of their victims, identified only as Ann, had been rescued.
Their correspondent gathered that while Ann was being rehabilitated at the NAPTIP office, the
suspects were assisting the officials with information to arrest the fleeing members of the syndicate.
It was learnt that two of the victims of the syndicate, Ann and Chisom, had fled from Dubai in August, making the gang to put their n**ude visuals on the social media.

The visuals, which showed the girls swearing to oaths of allegiance, were said to have been sent to the agency.
Punch gathered that the Lagos Zonal Command officials of NAPTIP on Tuesday, September 8, arrested Dubai-based Blessing, who confessed to have trafficked Ann.

It was learnt that the lady, who reportedly sneaked into the country for a traditional marriage, was arrested at the Agboroko village, Iba area of Lagos.
It was also learnt that the officials arrested other gang members in the Lekki Phase 1 and Ajah areas.

Blessing, who claimed that she worked with a travel agency in Dubai, told PUNCH Metro that she sent N35,000 to bring Ann from Nigeria as a commercial s**ex worker in Dubai.
The suspect claimed that the arrangement was with the consent of the victim.
She said:
“I did not know the victim from anywhere. Gina, who has not yet been arrested, is my friend in Dubai. She was the one who told me that she needed a girl from Nigeria to do “runs”. I then told Precious, my Nigerian friend, to get me someone.

“Gina sent N35,000 to prepare the girl that would be brought. That was in July. So, it happened that the girl, Ann, was brought to Dubai. I personally went to pick her from the airport.
When she came to Gina, the girl was taken inside a room, str!pped and asked to say an oath. I was not there; I was not the person that str!pped her. She did the job for about a month before she fled from Dubai.
I knew they were bringing her for commercial s**ex; and she was also aware. She told Precious that she was ready to travel out of the country and do any kind of work.”
Precious, who confessed to luring the girl to travel to Dubai, pleaded that it was her first time to deal in trafficking of persons.
The NAPTIP Lagos director, Joseph Famakin, said the nude video was released on the Youtube, after Ann escaped from the ring, adding that the syndicate also forced the girls to swear to oaths.
He said:
“The victim was recruited from Lagos for Blessing, who was in Dubai. Blessing was responsible for her travel expenses. The process of preparing her for Dubai was coordinated by Blessing’s sister, Rose Gabriel.
On arrival in Dubai, the oath was forcefully administered on her, and it was recorded on video. This recording was later released on Youtube after she escaped from her exploiters in Dubai. She was forced into prostitution contrary to the initial promise of being given a job at a hair dressing saloon.”
Other members of the trafficking ring in Dubai ─ Gina, Fegor Ebony Ejeba, and Nicole Esther Otubu ─ were still at large, and efforts were on to track them down.
The assistant Director, Press and Public Relations, NAPTIP, Josiah Emerole, said the suspects would be charged to court, adding that efforts were on to rescue the other victims of the syndicate.
He said, “We call on all Nigerians to join hands with the agency to nip in the bud human trafficking in the country.”

Catholic Bishops tell Nigerians 'Stop condemning homosexuals, they don't deserve it'

The Catholic Bishop Conference of Nigeria, CBCN has appealed to Nigerians, especially Nigerian media to stop condemning homosexuals and Lesbians in Nigeria. The bishops stated this in an article titled "Still on Same-Sex Union and the Stand of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Nigeria", which was shared by the group's director of social communication, Chris Anyanwu.

According to the article, the bishops welcomed the Nigerian government's anti-gay law but they do not seek the punishment or jailing of persons who err but to help them unto salvation.

The article reads in part
"There is certainly an obsession by some journalists about 'severe punishment of gays or lesbians' and they try to twist the Bishops' statements to articulate their views. Nigerian Catholic bishops are very responsible pastors who do not seek the punishment or jailing of persons who err, but to help them unto salvation. In wrongly reading the letter of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) in January 2015 to President Goodluck Jonathan, some international organizations mischievously reduced the CBCN position to advocating severe punishment of gays or lesbians with long prison terms. What the CBCN supported, blessed and commended in their letter of 21st January, 2015 to former President Goodluck Jonathan was because the Nigerian government upheld the dignity and sanctity of marriage even in the face of all sorts of pressure. When, therefore, the federal government resisted the attempt to impose this culture on Nigerians by legislating against 'same-sex union', the Catholic Bishops of Nigeria felt a sense of great relief and issued a statement to affirm government's decision. The Archbishop Kaigama we know is a careful and pastorally-minded prelate who would not have used such words as: 'shameful', 'barbaric', 'madness', etc. to refer to anyone. Our stand was and is 'no to same sex union' and 'no to spreading of the homosexual culture' which can only complicate our struggle to uphold traditional/ religious/moral values in our country," he said.

A man who has been denied sex by his wife months, decided to tie her to a tree and beat the living daylights out of her. A 40-year-old man in Matabeleland, Zimbabwe, Philani Ncube,
has been arrested and charged after he tied his wife to a tree and beat her mercilessly for refusing to have sex with him for many months.
Ncube who appeared before a court in the district, pleaded not guilty to a charge of domestic violence, claiming his wife’s s* e.xual frustrations got to him.
It was reported that on the day of the incident, Ncube had got home at about 8:00 pm and demanded sex from his 28-year-old wife, Stella Khupe, but she refused, a pattern she had taken for a long time. “I did it out of frustration and anger. My wife refused to have sex with me for the last 4 months.
Before then, I even had to pay her to have sex with me. I believe she is cheating on me because she does not answer her phone in my presence. Sometimes she moves away or even hangs up the phone call prematurely.”

Femi Fani-Kayode says 'Buhari likes Fulani herdsmen'

Femi Fani-Kayode

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, says President Muhammadu Buhari, who is a Fulani man, is sympathetic towards Fulani herdsmen.
The former minister said this in a Facebook post titled, ‘Herdsmen from hell’ while reacting to the abduction of a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Fani-Kayode said Buhari had in the past referred to Fulani herdsmen as ‘my people’. He, therefore, argued that he was not surprised that Fulani herdsmen were hardly arrested despite their many acts of violence.
He said, “In the last few years the Fulani herdsmen have attacked, ravaged and pillaged many rural communities south of the River Niger and they have slaughtered and raped thousands of innocent people in the South-South, the South-East and the South-West.
“We recall how, after a violent clash between them and some Yoruba farmers in Oyo State in 2000, General Buhari (as he then was) led a strong delegation of northern leaders to see the late Governor of Oyo State, Lam Adeshina. Governor Adeshina was shocked with disbelief and he responded by telling Buhari that he was rather surprised that a former Head of State would refer to one ethnic group as his people while referring to another as someone else’s.”
Fani-Kayode, who was the spokesperson for former President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign organisation, said Buhari had never shown concern for the plight of the people of the South.
He said this was why it took Buhari 48 hours to react to Falae’s kidnap.
Fani-Kayode said it was possible that Buhari knew those behind the abduction Falae because the herdsmen released Falae 24 hours after the presidency condemned the abduction. He noted that no one had since been arrested for Falae’s kidnap.
He added, “Another curious twist to the tale is the fact that it took the Buhari administration two days to make any formal announcement on Falae’s abduction and just the day after they (Presidency) finally did so, the elder statesman was suddenly released.
“The question is this: who is pulling the strings from behind the scenes and who is attempting to test our resolve and test the waters?”

The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain said Falae’s claim that the Fulani herdsmen had links with Boko Haram should not be ignored.
He said the Fulani herdsmen were a security threat and could easily cause crisis in the South-West having populated the entire region under the guise of selling cattle.

Shocking News :2 Bloggers Has Been "Arrested" For Reportedly Writing Slanderous Petition Against Lawmaker. (Photos)

Adebiyi Adeleye, lawmaker representing Remo,Ogun state yesterday reportedly supervised the arrest of two bloggers he claimed slandered him over a petition questioning his qualifications.

Two bloggers and students activist- Okiki Ola and Wasiu Gbadebo- were arrested at the NUT Hall in Abeokuta by men affiliated with the lawmaker.

This just comes after the Ogun State Police Command, Monday, confirmed the arrest of a blogger, Emmanuel Ojo for accusing the wife of the state governor, Mrs Olufunsho Amosun of allegedly laundering $300,000 in London.

Check out this pastor that can walk on air, watch the video.......

Prophet Bushiri of the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) in Malawi has left the Christian world awestruck with a miracle in which he floats on thin air.

Bushiri, who earned himself a reputation as a man of God with his infamous prophesies, has left tongues wagging with a new video that depicts him walking in the air.

The hair-raising miracle worker was apparently captured while performing his latest video. According to Metro UK, the video showed him holding nothing but swinging his legs about.

Shepherd Bushiri as he is fondly claims that God blesses him by helping him perform miracles.

He regularly posts stunts like this on social media.

It is recalled that only recently, the Flamboyant Malawian Prophet also claimed that God ‘blessed’ him with a private jet and a Bentley.

Meanwhile, Bushiri has been in the eye-of-the-storm, attracting controversies to himself ranging from s*x scandals to lies.

In February, the prophet was accused of falsifying information to aid boost his public image.

According to Malawi24, the ECG shepherd had claimed to be have been chosen as chair of an organization called AFFRICI but it turned out that like the claims of the jet, the chair position was a mere attempt by the boastful man of God to publicly praise himself.

A source close to the prophet is quoted as to have said: “There is no such an organization like the AFFRICI, that is just written to sell the brand of the prophet.”

There is speculation that this miracle is a response to the claims that the ECG shepherd is a fake prophet and a conniving fraudster .

After meeting the bail requirements as at 4:00pm today the Judge of the State Magistrate court suddenly refused to sign the bail bond of Mr. Ojo Emmanuel. Lawmaker Condemns Police Incarceration of Online Blogger After Bail
A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid (MHR), representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency has condemned in strong terms the continuous incarceration of an online blogger and Ogun state citizen, Ojo Emmanuel Adediran after bail by the Nigeria Police Force.

The lawmaker in a statement issued on Tuesdaystated that the harassment and withholding of Ojo contravenes the provisions of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended and a direct infringement on his fundamental human rights.

"As a law-abiding citizen and one who holds the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria sacrosanct, I believe an accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty, and there are provisions for the protection of the fundamental human rights of the citizens. In this case particular, I hold the view that the right of the young man who is being hounded to the court and paraded handcuffed is totally unacceptable and a breach of his right to dignity."

"I equally frowned at the manner of his arrest without first investigating the substance of his allegation; the police claimed to have only started investigation after he has been arrested. This is alien to the Nigerian law and Freedom of Expression and human dignity as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution"

"It is however odious to read further reports that despite meeting the stringent bail conditions as graciously granted by the trial Magistrate on Tuesday, 29th day of September, 2015, the governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, using his power as the state Chief Executive Officer opposed the release of Ojo Emmanuel. This, I condemn in clear terms as reckless and excessive use of state power, calculated at destroying the career of enterprising young men in the state."

"I think the law is vast enough to accommodate redress in the case of any constitutional breach against any individual, the governor and his wife inclusive, and strong arm tactics from the vantage position of executive power should be discouraged lest our democracy is threatened by despots masquerading as democrats. "

"Senator Ibikunle Amosun should allow the law to take its course and not resort to bending same to suit his whims and caprices against imaginary, real and perceived enemies and position. It is not for the sake of reading that Freedom of Expression was enshrined in the constitution but to protect against the arbitrariness and executive recklessness of potential despots.
Ojo Emmanuel Adediran has same rights and privileges just as Mr. Ibikunle Amosun and Mrs. Funso Aamosun, and the law cannot hold the hand of the young man for the delight of the Ogun State Governor."
The lawmaker thereby call on the Inspector General of Police to evoke his power in fulfillment of his avowed policy of protecting the human rights of every citizens of Nigeria against abuse and arbitrariness of power mongers to safe this promising young man against the strong arm tactic of the Ogun State Governor.

"Ojo Emmanuel deserves the protection of the law and his continued incarceration could not be said to be in good taste. This has the potential of making mockery of the Change mantra of the President Moohammadu Buhari-led administration. " He said.

Emir of Kano explains why he married 18 year-old Adamawa's Princess.

Sa'adatu Barkindo-Musdafa and emir of kano

Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II has responded to criticisms following his marriage to 18 year old Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa last week. In a private email sent to select people which has leaked to many social media platforms, he explained why he decided to marry Sa’adatu. Read below
“I am sure NC members all have their views and have kept quiet out of (appropriate) deference to our right to make our individual choice. Obviously I do not need to explain anything to anyone in a purely personal matter but a few points are worthy of note:

1. The lady in question is 18 and thererfore legally of age to marry under all laws and certainly inder Muslim law
2. She is proceeding for her undergraduate education in the UK in january. She had an A in computer science in her O levels and plans to get a degree in computer science
3 each and everyone of my wives is a university graduate and some have worked and fhen stopped and in each case the choice was purely theirs
4. It is a tradition in Kano that emirs and princes in choosing wives consider issues beyond the individual. The family is in every sense a social unit. My predecessor was married to princesses from Ilorin, Katsina and Somoto
5 The relationship between the late Lamido of Adamawa Aliyu Musdafa the father of the current Lamido is well known. Lamido Aliyu was the first emir turbanned after emir Sanusi I and they remained close until Sanusi’s death.
6. My own relationship with the current Lamido dates back to 1981 when he was Ciroma and commissioner for works. By the way the Lamido and I are not illiterates we know what we are doing and he does have a PhD in Engineering
7. My own mother was married in Adamawa and lived there for more than two decades and I have eight younger brothers and sisters from there
8 it is therefore natural that if I choose to marry from another kingdom Adamawa would be the first choice for me and I am extremely happy to strengthen these ling historical bonds
9. The young lady in question gave her free consent and even after the contract the wedding will not happen for a few years. By then she may be 21. If she freely consents to this I do not know on what moral grounds anyone has a grouse. She is an adult, she gave her consent, her education is not being in anyway interrupted.
10. The real issue is that people do not accept cultural difference. And you can see it in the approach to these issues. I am supposed to be urbane and western educated. Yes but i am not european. I am a northern Nigerian Fulani Muslim brought up in a setting exactly like the one my children are being brought up in.
If you read this and it improves your understanding of this issue that is fine. If it does not justvremember it us not your life, it is not your daughter and you are not my wife therefore it is not your business.
I obviously cannot stoop to the level of responding publicly to these kinds of articles. I have always been an advocate of girls marrying after maturing. I personally like the minimum age of 18 even though i understand those who say 16 is fine and indeed this is the law in most so calked @advanced@ countries.
Is this something that I expect a european or western trained or feminist mind to appreciate or endorse? Not at all. But has any american been bothered about my views on men marrying men or women marrying women which frankly I find primitive and bestial? No and my views do not matter. These are cultural issues.
Even in Nigeria I have heard all this stuff as in Pius article about “north” and northerners. Again it is a failure to respect difference. There are parts if this country where parents expect their daughters to live with their boyfriends for years and actually get pregnant before they marry. It has become culture. We do not have that in the north and if your daughter gets pregnant before marriage she brings nothing but shame to the name. But we do not issue condemnations. We agree that this is how they choose to live. And i can give many other examples.
When people use the term libido they do themselves injustice. First of all it shows how they view women and marriage. Women are nothing but the object of sexual desire. Marriage is nothing but sexual gratification. Well I am sorry but in my tradition it is not. Beauty and attraction rank third after religion and lineage in the choice of a wife. They see an 18 year old young lady. I see a princess of noble birth whose mother is also a princess, and who has been brought up in a good muslim home. This is the kind of woman that is prepared for hiving birth to princes and bringing them up for the role expected of them in society.
Martiage is both social and political. Expanding the links of kano which have already been established by my predecessors through inter marriage with katsina, sokoto, ilorin, katagum, ningi, bauchi etc to adamawa is an important and signifant step and this is obvious to anyone with a sense of how royal families work and Ibn Khaldun’s sociological concept of Asabiyyah. When the emir of Kano marries it has to be something beyond what he oersonally desires to what is appropriate for that position and the expectations of the people he represents. You dont just pick up any girl on the street. And by the way for thise who shout libido sex is cheap and available everywhere in all shapes and sizes and all colours if that is what they want. And all ages too. Martiage is a very different proposition. The mother of your children has to be something other than, ot at least much more than a mere object of sexual fantasy. But if you do not know that you need to buy yourself a brain.
I have daughters. And they know they can only marry from certain backgrounds. I always prefer family. When my daughter wanted to marry mouftah baba ahmed’s son and she asked me, knowing my views on family, i told her mouftah is family. And this is not about me and mouftah or me an hakeem or nafiu. No. It goes back to Baba Ahmed and Emirs Sanusi and Bayero. And the same rule applies to my sons. And it applied to me as well.
It is I am sure very strange that I should even bother to comment on this. But it would be hypocritical for me to just keep quiet so long as these things are being posted and commented upon explicitly or in a snide manner. There was no secrecy in the marriage fatiha. The date was fixed and it was to be done in the central mosque after friday prayers. The day before we had a tragedy in Saudi Arabia and decided the fatiha must be very low key as a mark of respect for the dead. All traditional rulers in adamawa were there, as were governors and commissioners, members of my own emirate council and adamawa people. There is nothing here to hide or be apologetic about.
The emirs of adamawa have shown love to my parents and grandparents and it is a sign of my appreciation of their love that i marry their daughter. This is the highest statement of friendship and loyalty on both sides.
Again if you understand this this is fine. If you do not buy yourself a brain, A la Pius.
In any event this is my one and final and only comment on this. And I am making it out of respect for NC members.”
