Does President Mohammadu Buhari Have A Conscience? - FFK

Article by Femi Fani-Kayode
''Aside the 105 soldiers killed by Boko Haram, additional 34 soldiers were killed 2 days ago but it wasn't in the news''- Deji Adeyanju. I concur with Mr. Deji Adeyanju. The most heartless and reprehensible thing that our government could have done is to cover-up the fact that 105 of our soldiers were killed by Boko Haram a few days ago. To do such a thing is simply evil.

A soldier ought to be honored in death and this is especially so if he dies in the course of doing his duty and fighting for his nation.
The government has not only dishonored them by not acknowledging their sacrifice but they have also buried them in the wilderness like rabid dogs.
This is wickedness of the highest order and President Buhari, his Chief of Army Staff and his Minister of Defense should bury their heads in shame.
Anyone that buys the lie and propaganda that the 105 soldiers never died and that they are still alive is a compound fool or village idiot.
Will the military also deny the fact that a few days ago 34 of our soldiers were killed by Boko Haram? These boys died for their country. Why deny them?
I am outraged by the fact that a soldier will sacrifice his life for his country yet the citizens and authorities of that country don't even appreciate it.
Pictures of the dead bodies were posted on social media. Everyone in the military knows that those soldiers are dead. It is an open secret. Yet because government denies it so many people just choose to believe them.
The truth is that Boko Haram must have used chemical weapons in the attack. When you look at the pictures of the dead bodies this is obvious. It was probably mustard gas.
All we want from the military is the truth. If 105 soldiers were not killed then how many actually were?
The whole episode happened last week in Borno state and the military authorities are denying it. I am sickened by that.
If others cannot appreciate the importance of honoring our dead soldiers, I can.  I will not be intimidated and I will not remain silent.
Tell us where our boys are buried and if you refuse to do so we will keep asking. There must be accountability and respect for those that have made the supreme sacrifice just to keep the rest of us safe. Our soldiers deserve that much.
Finally let it be said loud and clear that since President Buhari came to power he has not bought one bullet for the military. Considering the fact that we are in the middle of a protracted and very bloody war I believe that this is utterly shameful. If you say you want to fight and defeat Boko Haram then why are you not buying arms for your troops?
This brings me to other matters and raises other questions about our President's sincerity of purposes and commitment.
You say that you are fighting Boko Haram yet you are travelling the world drinking tea with world leaders whilst your soldiers are secretly being slaughtered.
You say you are fighting Boko Haram yet you were nominated as their spokesman and chief negotiator 2 years ago in proposed peace talks with the Federal Government.
You say you are fighting Boko Haram but the man you appointed as your National Security Adviser was retired from the army a few years ago for ordering the release of Boko Haram terrorists under suspicious circumstances.
You say you are fighting Boko Haram but the first thing you did when u came to power was to remove military checkpoints. This guaranteed Boko Haram free movement and access to the entire country.
You say you are fighting Boko Haram yet last year you told the world that an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north.
You say you are fighting terror yet since you came to power Boko Haram has grown in strength, has regained lost territory and has been declared the ''worlds number one most deadly terror group'' by the Global Terror Index.
You say you are fighting terror yet since you came to power Nigeria, according to the Global Terror Index, has been declared as not just having ''the first most deadly terror group in the world'' which is Boko Haram but also of having ''the fourth most deadly terror group in the world'' which is a group that the Index describe as the ''Fulani militants'' and that we call the Fulani herdsmen.
You say you are fighting Boko Haram yet since you came to power Nigeria has been declared the world's ''third most terrorised country'' by the Global Terror Index after Iraq and Afghanistan which were declared first and second respectively whilst Syria and Pakistan were declared fourth and fifth.
You say you are a ''born again democrat'' yet you voted against the protection of human rights at the United Nations alongside Iran, Zimbabwe and North Korea.
You say you respect human rights yet you barricade Colonel Sambo Dasuki, the former National Security Adviser, in his home, endanger his life, deny him medical attention, flout court orders and make him critically ill.
You say you respect human rights yet you arrest Governor Boni Haruna simply for standing as surety for Dasuki and you try to force him to abandon his friend.
You say you respect human rights yet you raid  Governor Attahiru Bafarawa's home and arrest and detain his son simply because he is friends with Dasuki.
You say you respect freedom of speech and human rights yet you lock up Nnamdi Kanu indefinitely and your security agents shoot two unarmed and harmless pro-Biafra youths to death in Enugu simply because they were involved in a peaceful demonstration.
You say that you are a believer in the rule of law yet you ordered your secret police to storm a sitting governors official home in Akwa Ibom knowing that he enjoys immunity from such matters.
You say you love Nigeria yet a bomb goes off in Kano killing over 21 people and instead of coming back home to mourn with your people you continue junketing around the world.
You say you know how to run Nigeria but according to Paul Wallace and Michael Cohen of the United States magazine known as Bloomberg Business your ''bounce has become bust'', your ''policies irk investors'', you have ''destroyed Nigeria's economy'' and you ''do not have the capacity to move the country forward''.
You say that you know how to manage the economy yet stocks and shares have crashed, small businesses are folding up, our foreign currency has dried up, industries are collapsing, agricultural output has decreased, our foreign reserves have been spent and the value of the naira has depreciated since you came to power and it continues to fall.
You say you know what you are doing and how to manage Nigeria's affairs yet the U.S,-based Washington Times newspaper says that you lied to America about your so-called good intentions for Nigeria and that you have ''duped the United States of America'' with your false promises and empty words.

You say that you are fighting poverty yet according to the Business Day Newspaper Nigerians are ''getting poorer for the first time since 1999''.

You say that you will restore our countries fortunes yet the fuel queues are back and the prices of food, transport and basic commodities are soaring by the day.
You say that you are a man of your word and after you were declared winner of the election you promised not to malign, persecute, witchunt, demonize, disrespect or go after President Goodluck Jonathan and members of his administration unless you had concrete evidence of wrongdoing yet when you came to power you did precisely that.
You say you are fair-minded, true to your friends, loyal to your supporters and always reasonable yet you did not concede even one ministerial slot or approve one ministerial nominee of the two men that helped you more than any others to win the presidential election, namely President Olusegun Obasanjo and Governor Bola Tinubu.
You say that you want the country to change, that you believe in fairness and equity, that you are a progressive, that you believe in a generational powershift and that you want the country to move forward yet you are trying to destroy Governor Bukola Saraki simply because he won an election and became Senate President.
You say that you are fighting corruption yet no-one has been made to face the music or brought to book over the 25 billion naira REMITA and Systemspecs scandal and neither has the matter been clarified or resolved even though it has been established that the whole deal was struck under your watch.
You say you love Nigeria and all Nigerians yet your Fulani kinsmen, under the guise of herding cattle, are slaughtering thousands of innocent people all over the south and Middle Belt, yet you remain their Grand Patron and you refuse to utter to a word of condemnation for their actions.
You say you respect Nigerians yet every time you travel out of the country you spend your time telling foreigners and the foreign media how useless, rotten and corrupt your people are and how you are the only saint in Nigeria.
In view of all this I am constrained to ask whether President Muhammadu Buhari has a conscience or is it that he has just lost touch with reality? Everything that I said about him during the Presidential campaign has been confirmed and in just six months he has betrayed the trust and squandered the goodwill that the Nigerian people bestowed upon him in the March presidential elections. I have to say that I am not surprised by this because his ''change'' mantra was just an illusion.
May God enable him to find the courage to retrace his steps before it is too late and may the Lord deliver Nigeria from those that are around him that fail to tell him the truth.
What he and his APC failed to disclose to the Nigerian people during the campaign is that what he meant by ''change'' was a change from light to darkness. Sadly our people trusted him and now he has plunged our nation into that darkness

I gather that they call those of us that oppose President Buhari and that are PDP supporters the ''wailing wailers''. That is an interesting expression because by the time Buhari finishes with Nigeria I have little doubt that the entire country will be wailing.

The truth is that I would rather be a ''wailing wailer'' that posterity vindicates than a ''lying liar'' or a ''howling howler'' who has lost his way and who continues to have confidence in a man like Buhari and a party like the APC that is hell bent on destroying our country and our cherished democratic institutions with their Rambo-like insensitivity and total ineptitude.
All those ''lying liars'' and ''howling howlers'' that voted for President Buhari should clap for themselves for the terrible mess our country is now in. We will remember them in our prayers too.

Buhari’s six months of deceitful change - Fayose

Read the press statement below...
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described the last six months of President Mohammadu Buhari’s administration as that of “deceitful change,” lamenting that the President was destroying the image of Nigeria and its people for cheap international recognition.
Te governor, who also described the claim by the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun that the ministry do not have details of any fund recovered from officials of the immediate past government of Dr Goodluck Jonathan as a vindication of his position that the President was not saying the truth, said Nigerians must ask the President where the so-called looted fund was paid and who made the payments.

He said; “If the Ministry of Finance is not aware of any recovered
fund, it is either those who purportedly made the refund did so by
loading cash into Ghana-Must-Go bags and dropping the bags in the
President’s bedroom or the fund was lodged into the Central Bank
without records.

Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and
New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said “the only areas
President Buhari has recorded tremendous achievements are areas of
political persecution, disobedience of court order and desperate bid
to turn the country to a one-party state as evident in the Kogi State
election, which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),
headed by Buhari's kinsman staged managed and muddled up.”

He said; “in the last six months, a section of the judiciary has been
so openly manipulated by the Buhari’s administration such that
different judgments were given in similar cases, with the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) getting negative judgments while the All
Progressives Congress (APC) secured positive judgements in cases with
similar facts and evidences.”

While sympathising with Nigerians, who were deceived to vote for the
APC and are now  bearing the brunt of the six months of Buhari’s
administration’s cluelessness, Governor Fayose said; “It is painful
that Nigerians are being made to suffer great hardships from fuel
scarcity, thousands of people are still being killed in the North by
Boko Haram, Chibok Girls are still not found, power supply has
dropped, and above all; the unity of the country is being threatened
as admitted by the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, yet all our
President does is junketing around the globe.”

Speaking further, the governor said; “Honestly, this change promised
by President Buhari and his party, APC is nothing other than ‘one
chance change’ and this has been attested to even by highly respected
international news media.

“For instance, Bloomberg, in a report two days ago said hopes have
fizzled in Buhari’s ability to turn around Nigeria and that money that
flowed into stocks and bonds in Nigeria, which McKinsey & Co. says
could become one of the world’s 20 biggest economies by 2030, is now
fleeing as growth prospects diminish along with oil prices.

“Under President Buhari, the United States-based investment banking
and financial services multinational J P Morgan ejected Nigeria from
its Government Bond Index for Emerging Markets (GBI-EM) with effect
from the end of October this year.

"Under Buhari, the future of workers are being threatened by the APC
government plot to reduce minimum wage and retrench workers.

"Under Buhari, oil subsidy is to be removed next year January, thereby
causing further hardship for the people.

“Under President Buhari, multi-national companies are laying-off
thousands of workers while contractors working for the Federal
Government have left their sites. Yet, what the President does is to
junket from one country to another to cast aspersion on Nigeria and
its people and one wonders how foreign investors will come to a
country that its President says is peopled by rogues."

WTF!!! See what this lady ex-boyfriend did to her...... OMG!

This should be the most embarrassing incident ever and really wicked.

Someone shared this on Facebook. According to him, the unidentified woman, who was at a nightclub with her new man accepted a drink from an ex. Unknown to her, the drink was spiked. The result is really messy...Read his post below:

"News reports have not identified the woman or the nightclub but photos show what happened and it was not pretty. When the woman, who was at the club with her new boyfriend, accepted a drink from her ex she did not realize what a mistake this was. The drink was spiked, and the woman ended up leaving piles of poo all across the floor, her legs, her underwear, and her fashionable dress. The ex was probably in stitches watching the woman desperately trying to hold it and being unsuccessful. This is a warning to everyone, your ex may have more in mind than a truce, so don’t take that drink"

So cruel.......

Sick couple who forced girl to take part in sex attack on 14-year-old boy jailed

A couple have been jailed for forcing a 13-year-old girl to take part in a humiliating sexual assault on a 14-year-old boy.

Jemma Baskerville held the boy down during the attack while her former partner Stephen Lawrence put on a pornographic video to try to stimulate the victim.

The boy endured a 45 minute ordeal in which he was held down while the girl put her hand down his trousers and assaulted him.

Baskerville was jailed for four years and Lawrence for four and a half after a judge at Exeter Crown Court ruled they both posed a risk to children.

The boy suffered months of bullying and teasing at school after the girl spread rumours about what had happened to him in Lawrence's flat in Bideford, Devon.

They were the only adults present at Lawrence's flat in Bideford but instead of protecting children at a teenage party, they spurred them on to take part in the sex act.

Disgusting: The boy endured a 45 minute ordeal at the hands of Baskerville and Lawrence, exeter crown court heard

Baskerville started the sexual activity during a play fight and then urged the 13-year-old girl to touch the boy and 'make him horny'.
He fled to a bedroom but Baskerville followed him and held him down and forced him to watch a television where her partner was playing the pornographic DVD.

Baskerville, 39, of Bideford, and Lawrence, 45, of nearby Northam, were found guilty of causing the 14-year-old boy to engage in sexual activity without consent and inciting the 13-year-old to engage in sexual activity.

Recorder Andrew Oldland told the pair:"This went way beyond normal behaviour. You were in positions of trust and took advantage of the victims' naivety.

"Baskerville took what started as play fighting into a serious sexual assault. The 13-year-old girl was the means by which she carried out this offence, and that is deeply disturbing.
"She humiliated the boy by laughing at him and commenting about how long it was taking. A reference to that was used against him at school and in his victim personal statement he describes how horrible that was.

"He says he felt worthless and humiliated and felt a sense of shame."

Mystery ghost fleet containing 20 dead sailors washes up in Japan

A fleet of 11 ghost ships containing the rotting remains of at least 20 sailors has washed up on the Japanese coastline, sparking an investigation in the country. The mysterious ships have given rise to numerous conspiracy theories in the country, as authorities battle to discover the identities of the bodies.

Rescuers told Japanese broadcaster NHK that the bodies of 20 sailors were ‘badly decomposed’ and ‘skeleton-like’

Four of the ships washed up in early November, and seven more have been spotted in recent weeks drifting in the Sea of Japan.
The most recent, discovered on Tuesday, was found off the coast of Fukui, some 250 miles north of Tokyo.

It has been impossible to identify the bodies and authorities have no idea where they might have come from.
The only clues as to where the boats may have come from are a scrap of material that appears to have come from a North Korean flag, and writing on one of the boats that seems to read ‘Korean People’s Army’.

Some believe that the vessels are fishing boats from North Korea, as the nation is trying to expand its fishing industry to boost harvests.

WHAT ??? Lamar Odom Facing Jail for Cocaine Possession After Hospital?

According to TMZ,  Lamar Odom is in desperate shape medically, but legally we're told he may get cut a break.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the Nye County D.A. in Nevada is backing off the statements made by the Sheriff, who said there was a strong chance Lamar would be prosecuted for cocaine possession.

TMZ broke the story, Lamar's blood revealed  he was so high on coke when he fell into unconsciousness at the Love Ranch brothel.

Our sources tell us the D.A. now says they will consider Lamar's medical condition and mental state in deciding whether to charge him. We broke the story, Lamar is barely able to speak and cannot walk. His cognitive functions are also severely impaired.

Fact is ... the D.A. really isn't cutting Lamar a special break, because we did some checking and couldn't find a single case in Nye County where someone was prosecuted for cocaine possession when they landed in the hospital with severe damage.

And there's another factor ... we're  told Lamar is so bad off,he might not even be legally competent to stand trial.

Tech company reveal way to bring you back after death

A technology company says it's working on a project which would allow a human's consciousness to be transferred to an artificial body after their death.
In what sounds like a plot from a science fiction blockbuster, tech company Humai are working on human resurrection through artificial intelligence.

They're hopeful that the technology - bionics, nanotechnology and artificial intelligence - will be ready in just three decades.
Creating an imprint of people to remain after they go , Humai is using artificial intelligence and nanotechnology to store data of conversational styles, behavioral patterns, thought processes and information about how bodies function.

This data will be coded into multiple sensor technologies, which will be built into an artificial body with the brain of a deceased human.

The science as they explain it means using cloning technology, they will be able to restore the brain as it matures.

Their website explains:
"Humai is an AI company with a mission to reinvent the afterlife. We want to bring you back to life after you die."
Humai, based in Los Angeles, is funded entirely by CEO and founder Josh Bocanegra.
Bocanegra told Australian Popular Science that the brain of the deceased will be frozen using cryonics technology so that when the technology is fully developed they can implant the brain into an artificial body.
"The artificial body functions will be controlled with your thoughts by measuring brain waves.
"As the brain ages we'll use nanotechnology to repair and improve cells," he adds, saying that cloning technology is going to help, and: "We believe we can resurrect the first human within 30 years."

Meet The 3 Youngest Nigerian Billionaires (Photos)

Money, fame and power are just some of the attributes that make today’s world
billionaires who they are and these young outstanding Nigerians have achieved that in a very short time. Young, brimming with ideas and and a determination to achieve the impossible, these three young men are pragmatically carving a niche for themselves in the global centre stage as respectable billionaires in their own right:

1. Sijibomi Ogundele Sijibomi:
He is notably the youngest Nigerian man so far to reach a billion in earnings from business investments. The 34 year old entrepreneur who is the CEO of Sujimoto, a real estate business empire, was featured in Forbes Africa as a brave young Entrepreneur, an astute businessman with the capacity to change the Nigerian real-estate industry.
Mr. Ogundele boasts of a vast degree of experience as a venture capitalist and investment strategist has provided a solid background in ensuring Sujimoto achieves its mission in the establishment of classy housing units in Nigeria that can compete with its counterparts globally. He was pictured with the King of Dubai in one of his photos.
In a previous interview with Punch, Sijubomi revealed his affection for fast cars and antique watches. He got the inspiration for the name Sujimoto from a Japanese university professor he encountered, Dr. Sujimoto Koga who had a profound influence on him.
The very articulate Siju loves the luxurious lifestyle and he is not afraid to enjoy the best things in life. At 33, he bought a pricey Patek Phillipe wristwatch that costs $150,000 (N23 million) and when asked, he said he procured it so his grandson can one day use it. The young man who had a very humble beginning in Agege is responsible for the popular Medici Terraces at Milverton Road, Ikoyi.

The buildings are architectural masterpieces that would make jaws drop instantly. Mr Ogundele is on the fast lane to unparalleled wealth and he is just a few years away from becoming the next Dangote. His exploits have helped to put Nigeria’s name on the global map especially in the real estate and construction trade.

2. Ladi Delano Ladi Delano:
He earned his first millions by going into the liquor business during his time in China. At the young age of 22, he founded Solidarnosc Asia, a Chinese alcoholic beverage company that made Solid XS, a premium brand of vodka. Delano is now the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bakrie Delano Africa – a $1 billion joint venture with the $15 billion Bakrie Group of Indonesia at the age of 35. The 40-year-old Igho Sanomi is the founder and CEO of Taleveras Group, a Nigerian energy, power and construction conglomerate. He was born in Delta State to a devout catholic father who was a retired Assistant Inspector General of the Nigerian Police. Mr Sanomi’s mother, Mabel Iyabo Sanomi holds a Royal title of Yeye Jemo of Isotun Ijesha Kingdom in Osun State. Taleveras is arguably one of Africa’s largest energy trading companies, trading close to a billion barrels of crude oil and millions of tons of condensates, gasoline, jet fuel and LPG every year.

Taleveras also owns substantial stakes in two oil blocks in Nigeria as well as lucrative production sharing contracts (PSCs) in three offshore oil blocks in Ivory Coast. The group Power subsidiary constructs electrical substations in Nigeria and also owns a majority stake in the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company.

See The Mistakes That Are Crashing Many Marriages....... Do You Agree Guys ???

It has been revealed that there is an increasing rate of divorce. A visit to any of the (functioning) customary courts around the country, especially within Lagos, show a sharp increase in the rate of divorce, as both old and young couples visit the courts to seek the dissolution of their marriages.
And the reasons could range from shocking to ridiculous.
Regardless, with about 50% of marriages ending in divorce in America and no fairer situation in Nigeria, it is important to identify mistakes couples make in marriage that could lead to a divorce…

Some marriage counsellors have argued that a perfect marriage is hard to come by because couples tend to disagree on issues from time to time, but they note that the success or otherwise of marriages, depend largely on how couples handle their differences.
Usually, when talking about divorce, one of the factors that readily come to mind is infidelity, which simply means being unfaithful to a spouse. But beyond that, there are other things that lead to divorce, such as spousal abuse, bad manners, peer influence, unrealistic expectations, lack of quality time with one’s spouse, inadequate communication, deceit and unsatisfactory sex life.
According to a seasoned marriage counsellor, Elly Prior, common relationship problems that often lead to divorce include cheating (be it one-night stands, internet relationships and long-and short-term affairs), excessive reliance on social media, sexual problems, significant differences in core values and beliefs, traumatic or life changing events, boredom, jealousy, family issues and domestic abuse.
Other reasons include incompatibility, lack of responsibility and finances, unrealistic expectations, addiction to certain unpleasant substances, lack of support in times of need, poor communication, etc.

In another twist, some psychologists in their study identified other factors that could lead to a divorce such as bad s*x, laziness, dirty appearance (mouth odour), being too needy or demanding, distance, lack of self development, too much interest in television and social trends online dangerous to marriage.Other factors identified are stubbornness, arrogance.
“Also, men would more likely be turned off by a woman who talks too much and has a low s*x drive while women, on the other hand, were more likely to discontent with men who has high s*x drive but don’t do a lot in the area of communication…”
Reacting, a Nigerian professor, Oni Fagboungbe said:
“What we call courtship is fizzling out. It’s no longer there, yet people need to understand themselves.
They need to agree whether to make the marriage work or not, and that is the essence of communication. The agreement tend to shapen their mentality and with that, there is tolerance, acceptance, support and other variables that will make the marriage work.”

Official Statement Of Mustapha Audu As Regards The Rape Allegations By Sugabelly

Since the allegations of raped against him by Sugabelly surfaced, Mustapha Audu had kept quiet amidst the whole storm due to the mourning period he and his family are going through as a result of the unfortunate death of their patriarch Prince Abubakar Audu. .
Mustapha Audu has released a statement as regards the allegations.
Below is the Official statement .......

'I am shocked and disturbed about these allegations
I categorically deny the allegations of rape whilst admitting to a consensual relationship.
I wish to exonerate my brothers and friends of any wrong doing.

I wish to thank my friends and family for their support as we grieve the loss of our father barely a week ago. It is unfortunate that we have to respond to these sort of wild and malicious lies at this time,This is a case of a very troubled young lady who had been stalking me and had at many times in the past tried to contact and blackmail me. she had initially started this a while back, but we chose not to respond out of respect for ourselves and our loved ones. We tried to ignore this as we neither wished to get involved in her fictitious stories nor join issues with her. However events of the past few days has compelled me to defend my honour even in my mourning period as the emails will later show.

These are some of the excerpts from the emails:

"Mustapha.. basically, I just miss you a lot. I don't know why.. I mean I do know why but I can't explain why I stop breathing every time I hear your name, even if it's not about you"

"I don't know why I decided to call you. It's been four months since I last heard you speak. I guess I knew to hear you would make me happy, so I did
Say hi to Bashir for me, and to Abdul. Call me Mona"

"you opened the door nearest to me on the ground floor.. Balked when I saw the bed.. I've never been good with beds... they scare me... visions of         violent rape flood my brain and I get goosebumps... it's like having no air..             there are reasons for that... perhaps you'll find out later"

She later said to me that she was raped by her mother then boyfriend at a very tender age, you can now imagine my dismay at reading all her accusations.

I would like to ask, 'what kind of society do we live in when you are grieving the loss of your father and at the same time some opportunistic blogger is trying to unnecessarily capitalize on this sensitive period in my life to taint me, my family and friends. Sadly the teeming public without any evidence whatsoever or benefit of doubt join the bandwagon of criticism.

I believe the court of public opinion as well as the legal courts will see these stories as false and malicious and declare me innocent.

I hate to think that this is an opportunist move and I would like to put this ugly incident behind me as we continue to mourn.

I have spoken to my lawyer on the best way to handle this matter, thank you.

Mustapha Audu.
