The Man who ran away because his wife was expecting 3rd set of twins, returns home , thank goodness!
Citizen Uche, the man who ran away from his family in February after his wife, Ruth informed him that she was having their third set of twins, has returned home. He returned home yesterday July 15.
According to The Nation, Emeka returned to their new house in Ogun state. The Uches, who were living in a dilapidated house in Agege prior to this coming out, have moved to a mini flat in Ogun state with the money she received from kindhearted Nigerians who came to her rescue.
Speaking about why he ran, the run-away father said;
"Like I told you on phone, it was not easy for me. I contemplated suicide on several occasions. I cannot believe I am here, holding my kids for the first time since they were born three months ago. When I left, I initially went to the village where I spent a month. After that, I came back to Lagos but stayed with my friend around Oko-Oba in Agege. I still live with him I know that I was not far from them, but I just did not wen
t to return without a better solution on how to cater for my home. I was ashamed too to come back to that house to see them after I’d abandoned them and run away. But after our discussions and my wife told me that they had moved, I went to our old house and asked one of the neighbors who had been here for direction so that I could come and see them,” he said
His wife Ruth expressed gratitude to God and the Lagos state government for uplifting her family, saying that even her mother inlaw who never used to call her now calls her frequently
"Would I have ever lived in this kind of house with my family and I having a toilet and kitchen to ourselves? I moved in here on Sunday and I am so happy and grateful. Aunty, come and see our bedroom; have you seen the toilet?
See our kitchen. See me now! I have a room and parlour self-contained. What more can I want, except for my husband to come and enjoy this good life with me? People who used to laugh at us for not having food to eat can now see how God works. Even my mother-in-law who has not called me for so long now calls me.
I am just so thankful to God because he did not allow me and my children die in shame. I have promised God that I will do my best to grow my business. I want to grow and be able to help women with similar case as mine. I want to be able to impact their lives in future as my life was touched and changed.”she said
Check out how this model dressed to see the Pope .
Busty Argentinian glamour model, Victoria Xipolitakis was yesterday turned back from a lineup of people waiting to greet Pope Francis in Asuncion, Paraguay because of what she wore (above)
The police were forced to escort her out following a public outcry by Paraguayans who found her dressing offensive. She wore this tiny white top without a bra making her silicon boobs very visible.
This isn't the first time Victoria will be involved in a public uproar. Few weeks ago, two pilots were sacked from Austral Airlines after taking selfies with her in the cockpit and letting her take the controls.
She was also publicly rebuked after she posted a Photoshopped picture of her self with a false big butts six months ago. For several weeks Victoria had been trying to get a private meeting with Pope Francis because she says she wants him to forgive all of her sins.

Obama Speaks on Bill Cosby Rape AllegationsWhile addressing a press conference today .
President Obama was asked about the sexual assault allegations surrounding legendary comedian Bill Cosby. Without directly calling him a rapist, Obama carefully answered the question saying:
“If you give a woman … or a man for that matter … a drug and then have sex with that person without consent … that’s rape.
“And I think this country, any civilized country, should have no tolerance for rape.”
When asked if he would revoke Cosby’s Presidential Medal of Freedom – which he received in 2002 – Obama responded saying there was no precedent for that…adding: “We don’t have a mechanism.”
Caitlyn Jenner received the ASHE award , Caitlyn says Trans people deserve something vital,' she said. 'They deserve your respect.'
Despite the protests and petitions not to give Caitlyn Jenner the ASHE award, she went ahead and received it. The 65-year-old got tearful toward the end of her acceptance speech as she thanked her family, including her mother, sister and 10 adult children in the audience. Caitlyn initially planned to appear on stage with all 10 of her children and stepchildren, including the Kardashian sisters, but they instead showed their support from the audience.
She got a standing ovation when she walked to receive her award.
"Wow, I have to talk after that? Thank you so much. It is so wonderful to be here tonight. The last few months have been a whirlwind of so many different experiences and emotions. But to tell you the truth, it seems like every time I turn around in life, I'm putting myself in these high-pressure situations—competing in the games, raising a family, but I've never felt more pressure than I have in my life than I have in the last couple of months. Picking out this outfit—OK girls, I get it," she said, which drew laughter from the crowd.
Caitlyn got tearful toward the end of her 25-minute acceptance speech in which she gave a heartfelt appeal on behalf of trans youth.
Trans people deserve something vital,' she said. 'They deserve your respect.'
It did not take long for cynical tweets to appear questioning why she had been chosen for the award above other potential honorees.
Jidenna reacts to 'light-skinned' comment controvery...writes open letter to Nigerians.
Last week, Nigerians dragged American-Nigerian singer Jidenna after he said in an interview that light-skinned are more likely to be kidnapped than dark skinned people as they are seen as more valuable in Nigeria. Jidenna is finally reacting to criticism explaining what he meant. Below is the open letter to Nigerians he shared on his website.
To all my Nigerian brothers and sisters
I am, always have been, and always will be proud of my Nigerian heritage. I understand the pain and anger caused by some of the comments I made in a recent interview, and I wanted to address you directly. Contrary to popular belief, this interview was not the first in which I mentioned Nigeria.
In fact, I’m frequently bragging about how Nigerians attend the world’s most prestigious institutions, and how we are known to produce world class doctors, entrepreneurs, innovators, lawyers, engineers, professors, athletes and artists. Unfortunately, people tend to leave these moments out, and, in this case, highlight stereotypes. I would never do or say anything to intentionally disgrace the legacy of my father nor my fatherland. But to not relay my own story, both the good times and the bad, would be a disservice.
Jidenna and late dad
My name is Jidenna, which means “to hold or embrace the father” in Igbo. It was my father who gave me this name and who taught me countless parables, proverbs, and principles that made me the man I am today. These same principles helped me to write the record “Classic Man.” When I brought home a 98 percent on a test, my father would say, “ah ah, where are the other two points? Go and get them, then bring them back.” My father and Nigerian culture has always stood for excellence. While the majority of my childhood memories are beautiful, I also have experienced the challenges that Nigeria has faced since Independence.
When I was 5 years old, my family was robbed at gunpoint, my mother was beaten, family members were kidnapped, and I was shot in my foot. As is the case with all kidnapping, targeting those who are perceived to be wealthy is the objective. In this instance, my father was the target because of his prominence in the community. This was a traumatic experience for my family that would shape our entire lives and our experiences in both Nigeria and America. As a little boy, I swore that I would never let that happen to my family again. As my father often said, “Once you’re bitten by a snake, you‘ll be ready to shoot a lizard!”
At the time of my father’s burial 5 years ago, my family in the village was concerned about increased targeting for kidnapping since the rate of abductions had increased dramatically in the area we are from. We were traveling from America, which along with our biracial appearance, had the potential to attract attention and pose a threat to our security.
In light of what happened in the past and the tense climate at the time, my family took precautions to ensure our safety. This was not an uncommon protocol at the time. I recognize incidents such as these are not unique to Nigeria or the African continent, and there have been significant improvements in the region since this period.
In the recent interview to which I’ve been referring, I shared my family’s experience traveling from the States back home for the burial. In this interview, I used the term “light-skinned.” When using this term, I was actually referring to my immediate family’s mixed or biracial appearance.
See, no matter what language I use to describe my heritage, I’m certain that someone will feel some kind of way. This is a larger discussion not meant for this statement, but certainly derives from our colonial past and postcolonial present, and in the States, from the days of slavery to the present times.
My comments about skin tone were related to the notion of perceived wealth and value, not my personal beliefs. My point was never to imply that biracial or “light-skinned” people are the only ones or the most targeted group of people kidnapped, or that I myself was wealthy at the time. Rather than focus on my perceived value, let us continue to focus on the value of Nigeria.
There is no question that Africa is playing a pivotal role in the future of our planet and that Nigeria, with it’s booming economy and burgeoning middle class, is a driving force. I will continue to play my role in the Renaissance taking place in Nigeria and Africa at large. We may not agree on everything, but know my heart is your heart, and my experience is part of our collective experience.

A 7yr old boy was stabbed by his mother for raping his 2yr old sister and a neighbour's daughter.
A seven-year-old boy, identified simply as Promise, has been stabbed by her mother with broken bottles for allegedly defiling his two-year-old step-sister and the daughter of a neighbour.
The incident happened on Monday on Tunde Olusola Street, in the Ijaiye-Ojokoro area of Lagos.
The mother, Mrs. Blessing Fred, was said to have gone out with her daughter on Sunday, leaving Promise behind.
While the mother was away, Promise went to visit five-year-old Yemi (pseudonym) ─ the neighbour’s daughter ─ at her parents’ apartment. He was said to have met Yemi alone and took her to his mother’s room.
On getting to the room, he reportedly told her to remove her clothes and lie down. He laid on top of the girl and fiddled with her private parts.
Yemi’s mother had left her with her sister, who was said to have left home when the incident happened.
Punch Metro reports that Yemi narrated what transpired between her and Promise to her mother when she came back.
A neighbour who spoke to Punch said that Yemi’s mother invited Promise to her apartment and verified the story in the presence of her daughter.
She said, “Initially, he denied. But when the woman assured him that she would not tell his mother, he opened up and said it was true. He said he had been doing it with his step-sister too. The woman later reported Promise to his mother and he confessed to her as well.”
“She first beat him with a stick on Monday for the offence. But all of a sudden, she smashed a bottle and stabbed him in the back.”
A resident, Bose Komolafe, said Fred had been arrested by the police from the Ijaiye-Ojokoro Police Division, while Promise had been admitted to a hospital in the area.
She said, “Some neighbours rushed to rescue the child from her. He is on admission at a hospital. Whatever the child might have done wrong, such a move was too harsh.”
