Anger mob gathered to stop SA pastor, called the snake pastor from holding his services at a school.

FIRST HIS church tent was burnt down.
Now angry people have gathered to stop him from holding services at a school.
RESIDENTS HOPED PASTOR PENUEL MNGUNI WOULD ATTEND THE MORNING ASSEMBLY PRAYERS AT THE SCHOOL, BUT HE WAS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN.
It seems the man they call the snake pastor is not welcome anymore.
Hundreds of angry people marched to the Ayanda Primary School in Soshanguve, Tshwane yesterday morning.
They wanted to know how the pastor, who convinced people to rip off their clothes and swallow snakes, got permission to operate his church in the school.

The situation became more serious when the people tried to force their way onto the school premises. It was only a strong police presence and bishops from the South African Council of Churches that denied them access. People’s poet Mzwakhe Mbuli and the Tshwane SPCA were also on hand to maintain order.

Residents heard the rumour that pastor Penuel Mnguni had found a new home for his End Times Disciples Ministries church. The rumour became reality when the pastor started holding services at the school last Friday. Then they heard the pastor was practising his stunts and controlling the kids and making them speak languages that sounded like Chinese and Nigerian.
On Monday residents decided the pastor had to be stopped. And on Wednesday he had to interrupt his services when the community threatened to attack him.
Mnguni was escorted from the school by cops. And yesterday the residents were back.
Resident Nkele Rakgotla said this pastor was no good for the community.
“We don’t want him in our area,” she said.
“He has already hypnotised the pupils and he is controlling their minds. He will possess our kids with his evil spirits.”
She said they wanted to know who allowed him into the school.
Principal David Monopi said he didn’t know how Mnguni got permission to come to the schoolyard.
“I just heard about it on social media,” he said.
Bishop Malusi Mpumlwana, general secretary of the South African Council of Churches told Daily Sun: “We are here to help the residents. We are very worried about the practise of what we call unknown religions.”

He said people should not be allowed to swallow snakes. “We have tried many times to have a meeting with Mnguni. It seems he is not willing to meet us,” said the bishop.
Andy Mashaile of the Gauteng community police board said: “We are going to find out who gave Mnguni access to the school premises. If a teacher or a community policing forum member is responsible, that person will be prosecuted.”
At the time of going to press Daily Sun, Pastor Mnguni had not returned our calls.

Keyamo shuts down 'noise ' over 'lop-sided' appointments by Buhari

Press statement from revered lawyer, Festus Keyamo
The so-called "uproar" over the perceived "lopsided" appointments made so far by President Buhari is nothing but an orchestrated frustration of a few jobless politicians who depend only on government appointments as their means of livelihood and, of course, the noise of the latest opposition party in town. The majority of Nigerians want to see good governance, pure and simple, and care less about the ethnic origin of those appointed into positions.
My worry is that the decade-long general division of government positions into "juicy" and "non-juicy", and the mentality that these few "juicy" positions must be shared equally amongst the major ethnic groups was nothing but a contraption of the old order from which we have just liberated ourselves.

To my mind, all government appointments pose an equal challenge to those appointed as a call to higher service of fatherland. All public positions come with an equal responsibility to be honest, forthright and dedicated. To go further to classify them as "juicy" or "non-juicy is just a euphemism for positions that have enough money from which to steal and those that are "dry".
Therefore, any agitation from a section of the country to get "juicy" positions is only an agitation for their kinsmen to be appointed to steal enough from which they would benefit. I therefore unreservedly condemn, in the strongest of terms, the so-called "uproar" about "juicy positions" going only to a certain section of this country.
All sections of this country should be happy and content with whatever positions that the President deems fit, at the end of the day, to give to their kinsmen. After all, the President still has a long way to go with appointments. He has not even filled up to five percent of available positions. Please, let the President be.

Thank you. FESTUS KEYAMO, ESQ.I

North West  all smiles and dimpled cheeks, she's easily one of the cutest kids in showbiz.

And North West reiterated what we all knew as she splashed around on the beach with her cousin Penelope during a recent family holiday to St Barts.

The two-year-old looked to be having the time of her life as she played on the sandy shores with her three-year-old relative.
The darling duo were also joined by Penelope's five-year-old brother Mason, who joined the girls for a swim in the sea wearing a pair of bright red shorts.

North was also joined by her mother Kim, aunts Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, grandmother Kris Jenner and her half-aunts Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

When the girls had tired of swimming, Kim and her precious daughter looked to re-enact a Titanic moment as she cradled North, who was pulling a rapt facial expression whilst looking overboard their luxury yacht.

Karrueche Tran bikini photo triggers death threats from member of Chris Brown's crew after R&B star complimented her 'booty'

A bikini snap of Karrueche Tran has sparked death threats.
The model, who split from Chris Brown earlier this year, received some flattering compliments from R&B star Marques Houston after sharing a sultry picture of herself to Instagram.

Houston's online praise, however, caught the attention of a member of her ex boyfriend Brown's crew, who promptly made a less than veiled threat by posting a picture of automatic firearms.

Houston commented on Tran's bikini snap: 'dizayum look at all that booty, can't even see your face cuz that booty in the way'.

But his online note was noticed by a member of Brown's crew, who TMZ claim is a known gangmember.

Brown's friend wrote alongside a snap of two firearms: 'N***'s show no how to disrespect, I don't care if they not still together #MH'.

Brown also weighed in (before deleting his comment), writing 'Go home Rodger', a reference to Houston's famous line on 1990s sitcom Sister Sister, according toUrban Islandz.
Karrueche dated Brown on and off from 2011 until earlier this year when it was revealed he had secretly fathered a baby girl.
And it would seem her fans approved, with the saucy image clocking up a staggering 100,000 likes from her 3.4million Instagram followers.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time since their split that threats have been made in relation to Tran following her split from Brown.

Chris Brown Attacks Marques Houston Over His Comment On Karreuche’s Sexy Instagram Photo

As expected, Chris Brown is constantly stalking on Karrueche Tran on social media and he is making sure that no other male celebrities get a piece of her.The actress posted a racy photo of herself in a tiny bikini on IG on Thursday that she captioned, “Vitamin D #ittybittycommittee.”

Marques Houston apparently couldn’t contain himself and left a thirsty comment on the photo – “@Karrueche Dizayum look at all that booty, can’t even see your face cuz that booty in the way,”.

Apparently, Chris Brown took the comment personal and typed in the comments section “Go home Rodger.”
That was a famous line from Marques Houston days on the 1990s TV sitcomSister Sister; Chris Brown however deleted the post later.

Karrueche dumped Brown earlier this year after she found out that he fathered a love child name Royalty with video model Nia Guzman.

Court Case :A woman Runs Mad After Cheating on Husband in Lagos

A business man, Mr Chibuzo Ogaeze, on Thursday pleaded with an Ojo Customary Court in Lagos State to urgently dissolve his marriage to his wife, Chika, because she had gone mad.
Chibuzo told the court that his 26 -year-old wife ran mad following her alleged involvement in extra-marital relationship which was a taboo in his culture.
“The trouble is too much, my wife and her people know they have committed an atrocity. As I speak with you right now, my wife is wandering, stark Unclad, on the streets.
“You can send any court official to come with me and see it practically, the embarrassment is beyond me, I need an urgent divorce that will detach me from her,” he said.
The business man said that the four-month-old baby in the possession of Chika was in doubt.
‘’She left my house in August 2014 without pregnancy, so she cannot deceive me. I have returned her things she left in my house through this court. I don’t want her to come to my house for any reason.”
He further told the court that his wife always went mad after child delivery, adding that this development usually prompt him to take her to the psychiatric hospital while delivering.
“The problem is spiritual because of her atrocities; I have taken possession of the other three children. In fact, the baby with her should be taken away before she harms her,” he said.
He said that though the marriage had produced four children, he could no longer bear the union because it was getting embarrassing and unbearable.
“I am ready for the refund of the bride price of N10,000 I paid,” he said.
However, the wife, who currently lives with her parents at 7, Simeon Chinoye Street, Ojo, Lagos, earlier told the court that the allegation by the husband was false.
“My husband is only looking for excuse for his actions. Since we met in 2008, he has been maltreating me because he is older than me by far.
“The problem started when he brought his family members to stay with us. His family members have earlier objected to my getting married to their brother,” she said.
‘’He abandoned me during my last pregnancy, but since he says he is no longer interested, so be it. I don’t want to lose my life.
She, however, appealed to the court to impress on her husband to allow her access to her children, provide the agreed monthly allowance of N5,000 and desist from embarrassing her in public.
The Acting President of the court, Chief Joseph Ogunmola, directed the court clerk to go with the petitioner to investigate the claims of Chika before the next hearing.
He added that the dispute over who owned the last baby should be rectified.
He adjourned the case to Sept. 14 for further hearing

Miley Cyrus says Nicki Minaj is Wicked........

Miley Cyrus finally responds to Nicki Minaj’s VMA outburst…
See her reply below:She said “Minaj’s remarks were “very Nicki Minaj,” which she described as “not too kind” and “not very polite.”
I think there’s a way you speak to people with openness and love. You don’t have to start this pop star against pop star war. It became Nicki Minaj and Taylor in a fight, so now the story isn’t even on what you wanted it to be about. Now you’ve just given E! News ‘Catfight! Taylor and Nicki Go at It.’ I know you can make it seem like, ‘Oh I just don’t understand because I’m a white pop star.’ I know the statistics. I know what’s going on in the world.

Two robbers killed in attack on PUNCH office

TWO armed robbers were shot dead by the police on Wednesday after they robbed The PUNCH office located at Mile One, Diobu, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The four-member gang of armed robbers had entered the circulation office of the media organisation at about 1.30pm and asked the Circulation Manager, Mr. Raji Tajudeen, to surrender a bag containing N500,000 to them.

As they told Tajudeen to cooperate with them, one of them brandished a gun and snatched a yellow bag containing the money.

After collecting the yellow bag, the bandits bolted down the stairs.
Narrating the incident to our correspondent, Tajudeen explained that no sooner had he got to the office after a transaction at the bank than two hefty men entered the office, with one of them pointing a gun at him.

He said, “While the two of them were searching for the money, one of my friends who was outside, noticed that all was not well in my office. He decided to ask from a distance what was happening. I winked at him and gave him a sign, which he understood.

“He went downstairs immediately and raised the alarm. A neighbour, (name withheld), rushed to the main entrance of the building and slammed shut the gate before the armed robber could get there.

“Already, a crowd was already gathering close to         The Punch office. When the armed robbers got to the gate that had been shut, one of them kicked it and it flung open.”

Realising that a mob had already gathered, one of the robbers fired a shot, which initially scared the relentless crowd.

A man, who has an office in the same building, also told newsmen that gathered at the place after the incident that the determined mob pursued the armed robbers, who later ran out of bullets.

The man said the armed robbers were not familiar with the terrain and suspected that somebody in the area must have directed one of them on the phone on how to get their target.

“We saw one of them making calls and from what he was saying, an insider must have been directing him (the armed robber) on how to get to Tajudeen’s office..
“The crowd chased the armed robbers up to Abakaliki Street and when they were not having bullets again, they ran into a restaurant. The mob began to throw stone, bottles and other objects into the restaurant,” he said.

Two of the robbers were later killed as they attempted to shoot their way out from a building, where they were holed up.

Tajudeen, who was still in shock as a result of the incident, said the police released the sum of N250,000 to him as the amount recovered from the armed robbers.
Confirming the incident, the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad, hailed the police and the members of the public for their speedy response in foiling the robbery attempt.

Mohammad, who spoke at the Mile One Police Divisional Station, where the bodies of the suspected robbers were dumped, said, “Our men swung into action as part of our timely response and two of the suspected robbers were fatally wounded while the other two escaped.

“I will advise members of the public to reduce physical banking transactions and go more for electronic transactions since the ATMs are there. Physical banking transactions should only be done when it is unavoidable.”

Man Seeks Divorce After Accusing Wife Of Pulling Manhood

A middle-aged man, Mr Emmanuel Olamurin, on Friday, pleaded with at an Akure Customary Court to dissolve his 21 year-old marriage, accusing his wife, one Modupe, of trying to kill him.
“My wife wanted to kill me by clutching and pulling my manhood,” Olamurin told the court.
The complainant, who is a retired civil servant, told the court that his wife was a “great threat” that he could no longer live with.
He also alleged that Modupe was fond of stealing his money, and cited some instances.
According to him, the respondent has sold some property belonging to the family, without his consent.
The retired civil servant said that the union had lost any affection needed in any good marriage and should therefore be dissolved..
In her response, the respondent denied the allegations and insisted that the marriage contract must remain.
She accused him of promiscuity, saying that it was the main reason for his call for dissolution of the marriage.
According to her, she once caught him on bed with one of their neighbours, adding that instead of showing some remorse, declared that he was at liberty “to do anything”.
She stressed that elders had intervened to resolve the issues, but that her husband had always turned deaf ears.
Ruling on the case, Mrs. Modupe Alex-Adedipe, the president of the court, advised the complainant to desist from committing all the atrocities his wife was accusing him of.
She urged him to take proper care of his family, especially their only child, because family peace would ensure a bright future for the boy.
The president adjourned the case to Sept. 15 for further hearing. (NAN)

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State Friday appointed a 72-year old Carpenter and illiterate, Mr Olatunde Afolayan as the caretaker chairman of Moba Local Government.

Shun corruption or quit, Buhari warns civil servants

President Buhari has warned civil servants to shun corrupt practices or be shown the way out of the civil service. The permanent secretary in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Muhammed Bukar, who spoke with NAN, said President Buhari gave the warning while receiving notes on the activities of the General Services Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
"We have received a mandate to work harder. He has given us a very strong warning that change has come and every public servant has to sit up. We will give our best to support the government. We told him what we have been doing in support of the government's policies and the president promised to give us the support and the political will to do our job better.''he said

Nigeria-bound terror chief coming on invitation

According to a report by Daily Trust, wanted terrorist, Ahmed Al-Assir, who was arrested in Lebanon on his way to Nigeria, was coming on the invitation of a foreign company operating in the country.  Sources in Nigeria's security circles, who spoke to Daily Trust on condition of anonymity, said the visa was issued by a Foreign Service official in Beirut based on that invitation.

According to the sources, without a letter of invitation the hate preacher's visa application would not have been approved. Discussions within the security circles in Nigeria centred on a popular middle-eastern company operating in Nigeria as the originator of the invitation letter for the issuance of the visa. A source said allegations that a bribe of about $8,000 was paid by Al-Assir to obtain the visa has not been confirmed. Security sources however said even if a bribe that big was offered, it was highly unlikely that the official who issued the visa received such money alone. It was hinted that the intelligence report of the plans of Al-Assir to visit Nigeria was given to the Lebanese authorities by Hezbollah. He pointed out that the lack of an active Foreign Service liaison with security and intelligence organization at the Nigeria embassy in Beirut made it difficult to share such intelligence operations with Nigeria directly.

It is suspected in security circles that Al-Assir is coming to Nigeria to link up with Boko Haram leaders to lend support. Sources emphasized that Nigeria needs to improve its foreign service liaison  in Beirut and other embassies abroad ´so as to obtain vital intelligence of security concerns, because apparently non-existed."

Foreign Service officials are supposed to liaise with intelligence and security organizations of host countries and share intelligence information in the tradition of "give and take," the sources added.

President Buhari has ordered an investigation into how the ISIS leader secured a valid Nigerian visa in Lebanon.

PDP Media Watchdog to President Buhari: Your appointments is Asymmetrical and Fraudulent

Below is a press statement from The PDP Media Watchdog
The PDP Media Watchdog has described the appointments so far made by President Buhari as fraudulent and asymmetrical, saying that the President's anti-corruption war is a charade and a deceit. The group while responding to the recent appointments as announced by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina said that people's expectation of President Buhari to remove his ethnic and military mentality and embrace democracy may not come to pass after all.
"We mentioned this in our last statements that President Buhari and the APC is only making noise with corruption and probe to cover up their plans to derail this country. The President claimed to be fighting corruption but does not know that even lopsided appointment is also corruption. According to an English dictionary, corruption is defined as 'dishonest actions that destroys people's trust in the person or group' and in another definition, it says, 'corruption is the misuse of entrusted power (by heritage, education, marriage, election, appointment or whatever else) for private gain'

So, we wish to advise President Buhari to review his appointments to meet federal character otherwise all his efforts at fighting corruption will amount to witch-hunting" the group said. To support their positions, the group went further to list out the positions, names of individuals appointed into such post and the region where these persons hail from.

"Out of 36 known appointments so far, Mr. President and his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) allocated 11 positions to the South and gave 25 to the North which is a clear departure from the CHANGE mantra the APC promoted before and during the elections" the Watchdog said.

They re-echoed that except President Buhari reverse or invalidate some of  his appointments to meet ethnic balance in the country and remove those perceived to be his family member or close associates, Nigerians and the International Community should never support his anti-corruption war which according to the group is only mere witch-hunting.
