Dramatic recordings from the Germanwings flight's black box have revealed the captain's desperate attempts to break into the cockpit (top right) to regain control of the plane.

According to transcripts captain Patrick Sondheimer screamed 'Open the goddamn door!' as his co-pilot Andreas Lubitz (pictured left) deliberately flew the aircraft into the Alps. It has been revealed that Lubitz was living 'on the edge' because he feared that his deteriorating blurred vision would cost him his pilot's licence.

Dramatic recordings from the Germanwings flight’s black box have revealed the captain’s desperate attempts to break into the cockpit to regain control of the plane.

Reports emerged that police searching the pilot's flat had found a 'small mountain of pills' and he had apparently been refusing to take his antidepressant medication.

Hello guys ,

Chris Okotie's Message For Jonathan & Buhari

As we await the result of the presidential election, let us continue to sound it loud and clear, as Rev. Chris Okotie did in his Facebook piece, titled, A Message for Jonathan and Buhari, that the two political gladiators should accept the verdict with equanimity.

The admonition becomes imperative as the paradox of the structure of our politicking continues to baffle even the most optimistic watchers of events.

This troubling trajectory means that the events of the days following the March 28 elections may be critical as we still have another round of voting on April 11, 2015.

The heated campaigns have been worrisome to observers and we hope this process ends well. With hindsight, we can say that our politician’s inability to resolve intra and inter party conflicts amicably is a serious flaw in our nascent democracy.

The cheerleaders in this cesspit of murky politicking are the beneficiaries and cronies of politicians who have benefits at stake in this degenerate style of partisan politics.

Also, aside this media gibberish that marked these campaigns, the dangerous trend of unruliness which the rampaging foot-soldiers and campaign trains have subjected the same electorate they are courting to, is in itself a show of absolute disregard for the people; Nigerians went through temporary lull in economic activities because of these elections, and one can only hope that whatever losses they have suffered is worth it at the end of the day.

Despite the ominous picture which these campaigns painted in the minds of the electorate these past weeks, voters must be wise and not be swayed by the ethnic and religious sentiments which have been some of the underlying emotions that the devisors of these calumny campaigns have adopted, as we go for the next round of voting.

Section 102 of the Electoral Act 2010 (As Amended) prohibits the employment of base sentiments as campaign or broadcasting tools.

Yet, it is ironic that despite this law, in full glare of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the law various enforcement agencies, sectional and faceless support groups have openly deployed these emotions in their campaigns.

A critical question in this vicious circle is this: Can our aspiring leaders who emerge out of the rummages of these elections stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their counterparts around the world with their uninspiring display of primitive politics?

The answer is no!After 16 years of a chequered and stagnant democratic run, what we need now is not a cunning sleigh of hands in relying on specious sentiments; to upstage opponents, rather, we need to be won-over with outlines and timelines of realistic re-structuring agenda on issues that affront the progress of our economy.

Okotie reminds us: “Politicians seeking elective offices are being asked questions about their record of public service; about their integrity; about their competence or lack thereof.

It is a whole new ball game; a far cry from some previous elections when the outcomes were generally well known before the ballot was cast…

We must see impact-driven growth and the evidence of our rising economic profile on our citizens. What we demand from our politicians is how to revamp the economy to achieve a strong, private sector-led growth; not how they would tear the nation apart if the elections don’t go their way”.

The Pastor-Politician rounded-up his message brilliantly: “Millions are going to vote because they want their lives changed or transformed, not because they expect to die in the exercise…

Every Nigerian must therefore hear this loud and clear: go out and vote; and equally important, respect the outcome.

Let the politicians receive this with equanimity and philosophical discernment”.God bless Nigeria and Nigerians so that the labour of our heroes past must never be in vain.

Hello guys ,

I want to talk about skin care today . Ask yourself some questions like how do you treat your skin, your lips , your hands and even your feet .

Our bodies needs to be pampered and treated right.  Your not being vain guys but actually making your skin glow or look rich and better .

There are three skin types that's the dry , oily and normal skin.... you need to pay attention to yourself to know the perfect skin treatment to use .

About your lips : do you know there are natural products you can use to make your lips pinkish , soft and very kissable lol !

For light skinned girls or girls who want to get light . There are safe ways to tone rather than bleach and destroy your skin and then start running about looking for solution to clear skin burns .

I will talk about different skin solution , lips treatments and even hands & feet treatments.

Protect yourself from the sun

One of the most important ways to take care of your skin is to protect it from the sun.

A lifetime of sun exposure can cause wrinkles, age spots and other skin problems as well as increase the risk of skin cancer. For the most complete sun protection:Use sunscreen.

Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. Apply sunscreen generously, and reapply every two hours  or more often if you're swimming or perspiring.Seek shade.

Avoid the sun between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., when the sun's rays are strongest.Wear protective clothing. Cover your skin with tightly woven long-sleeved shirts, long pants and wide-brimmed hats.

Also consider laundry additives, which give clothing an additional layer of ultraviolet protection for a certain number of washings, or special sun-protective clothing which is specifically designed to block ultraviolet rays.

. Treat your skin gently

Daily cleansing and shaving can take a toll on your skin. To keep it gentle:Limit bath time. Hot water and long showers or baths remove oils from your skin. Limit your bath or shower time, and use warm — rather than hot — water.

Avoid strong soaps. Strong soaps and detergents can strip oil from your skin. Instead, choose mild cleansers.Shave carefully.

To protect and lubricate your skin, apply shaving cream, lotion or gel before shaving. For the closest shave, use a clean, sharp razor. Shave in the direction the hair grows, not against it.Pat dry.

After washing or bathing, gently pat or blot your skin dry with a towel so that some moisture remains on your skin.Moisturize dry skin.

If your skin is dry, use a moisturizer that fits your skin type. For daily use, consider a moisturizer that contains SPF.

 Eat a healthy diet

A healthy diet can help you look and feel your best. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins.

The association between diet and acne isn't clear  but some research suggests that a diet rich in vitamin C and low in unhealthy fats and processed or refined carbohydrates might promote younger looking skin.

Here Are Some Common Natural Skin Lightening

Originally Posted by Alpha Arbutin:Alpha-Arbutin is a biosynthetic active ingredient that is pure, water-soluble and is manufactured in a powder form. As one of the most advanced skin lightening ingredients on the market, it has been shown to work effectively on all skin types.

It is the epimer of arbutin, and research has proven that it has a stronger inhibitory action than that of (beta) arbutin. Though it is a very expensive ingredient to manufacture, even at very low concentrations, a-arbutin has shown to inhibit the activity of tyrosinase.

Alpha Arbutin's inhibitory mechanism is different from that of arbutin and can be up to 10 times more effective. The a-glucosidic bond found in alpha Arbutin offers higher stability and efficancy than the B form found in the related Beta-Arbutin.

This leads to a skin whitening active that acts faster and more efficiently than existing single components.Beta-Arbutin (Bearberry Extract):Beta-Arbutin is often referred to as just Arbutin.

As a natural extract found in bearberry (Uva Ursi) plants, Arbutin also provides a skin lightening effect on the skin by inhibiting tyrosinase activity.
Though arbutin is a natural derivative of hydroquinone, it does not possess the same risks or side effects. Arbutin has been shown to be a very safe ingredient and does not break down into hydroquionone very readily.

Though it is cheaper to manufacture than Alpha-Arbutin, the skin lightening effect is much less than that of its counterpart. For this reason, many new skin whitening products now use Alpha Arbutin as opposed to only beta-Arbutin.

Kojic Acid:Kojic acid, often used as an ingredient in Asian diets, is a more recent discovery for the treatment of pigmentation problems and age spots. Discovered in 1989, kojic acid is now used extensively as a natural alternative to hydroquinone.

Kojic acid is derived from a fungus, and studies have shown that it is effective as a lightening agent, inhibiting production of melanin (brown pigment).

Kojic acid is a by-product in the fermentation process of malting rice for use in the manufacturing of sake, the Japanese rice wine. There is convincing research, both in vitro (in a test tube) and in vivo (on a live subject), showing kojic acid to be effective for inhibiting melanin production.

Licorice Extract:The licorice plant serves many purposes in skin care. The ingredient that is responsible for the skin whitening aspect of the plant is known as glabridin.

Glabridin inhibits pigmentation by preventing tyrosinase activation. Studies have shown that it can provide a considerable skin brightening effect while remaining non-toxic to the melanin forming cells. Glabridin is found in very small traces and therefore it is important to ensure that the correct part of the licorice plant is used.

Licorice's anti-inflammatory properties (due to ihibition of superoxide anion production and cyclooxygenase activity) also make it a very popular ingredient in the skin care industry.

Niacinamide:Niacinamide is commonly known as Vitamin B3 and is an effective skin lightening compound that works by inhibiting melanosome transfer frommelanocytes to keratinocytes.

Often this ingredient works best when combined with other skin lightening treatments. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is also known to be effective in reducing acne.

Mulberry Extract:Paper Mulberry extract, is obtained from the root of Broussonetia kazinoki, Siebold. or B. papyrifera, Vent. Tabl. Regn. Veget. or hybrids of both, family Moraceae.

Extracts of this root are potent inhibitors of Tyrosinase enzyme. The active constituents present in the extract are Prenylated, polyhydroxylated mono-and bis-phenylderivatives. A 0.4% concentration of paper mulberry extract inhibits tyrosinase by 50% compared to 5.5% for hydroquinone and 10.0% for kojic acid. At 1% paper mulberry extract is not a significant irritant

.Glycolic Acid:Glycolic Acid is a AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) which promotes exfoliation and a natural brightening of the skin tone. By encouraging cell turnover, glycolic acid not only evens out skin discolorations, but also helps to minimize fine lines and wrinkles.

AHA's such as Glycolic Acid can assist other ingredients in skin lighteners by allowing them to penetrate farther into the skin.

Lactic Acid:Also an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), Lactic acid mimics the properties of Glycolic acid but is typically better suited for individuals with sensitive skin. AHA's such as Lacic Acid can assist other ingredients in skin lighteners by allowing them to penetrate farther into the skin.

Lemon Juice Extract:Lemon juice is one of nature's most potent skin bleaching ingredients. Unfortunately it is also very irritating to the skin and should only be used at small concentrations in skin lighteners. Lemon juice is also known to be extremely drying to the skin if applied directly.

Emblica:Emblica is a patented composition extracted from the plant Phyllanthus emblica. The extract uses a multilevel cascade of antioxidant compounds resulting in a long-lasting and stable antioxidant activity.

Recent studies have shown that this natural antioxidant also provides significant skin lightening properties when used in moderate concentrations.

Vitamin C:Vitamin C is a natural antioxidant that occurs in many different forms (some stable and others unstable) each with distinct properties. Several of these forms have been shown to reduce melanin formation and provide a skin whitening effect when applied topically.

These include l-ascorbic acid, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate and sodium ascorbyl phosphate. These forms when used individually or together can assist in slowing down hyperactive melanocytes and thus resulting in lighter skin.
