I will be at the Tribunal Tomorrow says Saraki.

I will be at the Tribunal Tomorrow, Tuesday @Bukolasaraki
The Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki will appear before the Code of Conduct Tribunal tomorrow Tuesday 22nd of September 2015.
While the Senate President Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, had stated and maintained that he is ready to submit himself to due process of the law on any issue concerning him, he also believes that he has an inalienable right to resort to the same judiciary for protection when he feels his fundamental rights are about to be infringed upon.
The Senate President is a law abiding citizen and his absence from tribunal was based on legal advice he received from his counsel that it is not necessary for him to appear before the tribunal at this stage since the jurisdiction of the tribunal and the process of initiating the matter are being challenged before the federal High Court Abuja.
Following the adjournment for the determination of the motion on notice and the substantive suit before the Federal High Court to 30th of September and the appeal pending before the Court of Appeal adjourned to the 29th of September 2015, the Senate President has decided, as a law abiding citizen, to appear before the Tribunal in the interim.
Dr. Saraki has taken the decision to attend the Tribunal sitting to demonstrate his respect for the rule of law in spite of his personal reservation on the process of his trial and the purpose it may be intended to serve.
Dr. Saraki wishes to assure Nigerians of his absolute belief in the judicial process and is therefore confident that the course of justice would be served at the end of this matter.

uslim Model Commits Suicide Over Fear Of Arranged Marriage By Her Parents

A model was found hanged after fearing she was about to be forced into an arranged marriage by her Muslim parents.Nadia Menaz, 24, was found dead at her home in Oldham, Greater Manchester in May, five months after taking out a court order to stop her family from forcing her to marry.
The mother-of-one had already married in an Islamic ceremony, but the union was not recognised under English law, and her family did not approve of her husband, Umar Rasool.

Ms Menaz, a former army cadet who had wanted to join the police but started modelling after leaving home at 16, had met Mr Rasool, 25, in 2010.

They began dating, initially keeping their relationship hidden from her parents until they married in an Islamic ceremony in April 2011. The marriage was never formally confirmed under English law, but the couple had a daughter who was born in March 2012.
In December last year, Ms Menaz took out a forced marriage protection order at the Family Court in Manchester against her father Sabir Hussain, 60, and her mother Ruksana Kousar, 55, and three of her eight siblings. According to government guidelines, the legislation protects women if they are being threatened with a forced marriage or are already within a forced marriage.

At the hearing, Mr Hussain and Mrs Kousar denied attempting to force Ms Menaz into marriage and initially claimed they were unaware of the forced marriage protection order.

Speaking through an interpreter, Mr Hussain told the hearing:

'Once she got married there was no point in having issues. He used to assault her physically. They used to have a lot of arguments at home.
'When I found out about the marriage protection order I was still in contact with her and totally shocked. I don't believe my daughter killed herself. All of her life I never realised and never sensed it that she was having any problems that could cause her death this way. I think my daughter has been killed and she has not died in the way described.'
Mr Hussain said since her death he had received text messages from Nadia's phone number which said: 'Nadia has passed away but now it's your turn. You are going to be next.'
Mrs Kousar said:
'Nadia was already married and she had a daughter as well so there was no point of having this forced marriage protection order.'
Ms Menaz, the second youngest child of five sisters and three brothers who also worked as a wedding planner and florist, had been 'distressed' prior to her death, according to her cousin.
'She was quite distressed about quite a few things,' Mohammad Nakash Ali, said.
'It was mostly her family from what she told me and she had a quarrel with her husband which is normal with every relationship.
'She was stressed about her future and relationship and family and business and children. She vocalised her problems with her family in terms of her brother and relationship with her father and siblings.
'She told me she was stressed about things that has happened in the past and she was dealing with things by self-harming. She said her relationship with her immediate family was very strained, she tried very hard to make amends but it wouldn't work.'
In the weeks before her death Ms Menaz underwent psychiatric treatment at Royal Oldham Hospital but was later discharged.
On the day she died, May 1, she had argued with Mr Rasool, who then went to see his family and go to their local mosque, the court heard.
She had sent him a text saying she was going to hang herself and when he returned home at around 6.30pm he found his wife's body

Man raped and murdered a woman's 14-month-old child after she refused to have sex with him.

Acording to Daily Sun SA, the deal between the young mother and the man, a taxi driver was that they would go drinking and then have sex afterwards but when she changed her mind the man kidnapped, raped and murdered her baby.

On Friday night, 20-year-old Asithandile Mazomba allegedly went drinking with a taxi driver in Kanana Section, Tembisa in Ekurhuleni, South Africa but took her 14-month-old daughter, Elam, with her to the tavern.

A friend of the young mother told Daily Sun, that Asithandile and the driver agreed at the tavern they would go to her place later and he would sleep over.
"But later she refused to have sex with him," said the friend.
She said the two were seen arguing loudly outside the tavern before they drove off.

Speaking to Daily Sun at her home in Ivory Park extension 2 on Saturday night, Asithandile confirmed she went drinking with a taxi driver and his friend but said she never made a sex deal.
"We never went to the tavern because it was closed. Later we dropped the friend off, but when we got to my place the driver pulled out a screwdriver and threatened me," she said.
She said she jumped out of the moving car with the child. "My daughter fell on me and the man grabbed the baby and raced off. I immediately went to the police station, but the man was nowhere to be found."

The following morning a resident told her a baby's body had been found in the bushes.

Captain Jethro Mtshali said they found a dead baby in the veld after a call from a resident. The suspect (27) was found five hours later driving the same taxi. He was detained and will appear in the Tembisa Magistrates Court today. Asithandile had to be saved from angry residents who wanted to beat her up.

Touching moment Cristiano Ronaldo walked onto Real Madrid pitch holding hand of Syrian refugee who was tripped by Hungarian camerawoman

Cristiano Ronaldo arrived for Real Madrid's weekend match against Granada accompanied by the son of the Syrian refugee who was cruelly tripped over by a Hungarian camerawoman.

The club invited Zaid Abdel-Muhsen Alghadab, his father Osama and brother Mohammad to the Spanish capital on Saturday night as part of their campaign to support refugees arriving in Europe.

There was global outrage earlier this month after shocking footage emerged showing Hungarian camerawoman Petra Laszlo kicking children and tripping Osama up as he carried a terrified Zaid across a field on the Hungarian-Serbian border.

The Alghadab family finally arrived in Spain last week - with staff at a school for football coaches in the Madrid suburb of Getafe in Spain tracking down the devoted father - and offering to help him rebuild his life by giving him a job and accommodation.

Happy: Cristiano Ronaldo arrived for Real Madrid's weekend match against Granada accompanied by the son of the Syrian refugee who was cruelly tripped over by a Hungarian camerawoman

In emotional scenes at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, a beaming Zaid was led out in front of the huge crowd, who greeted him with rapturous applause.
Looking up in awe at his hero Ronaldo, the young Syrian refugee posed for photographs with the Real Madrid stars, who were wearing T-shirts in support of the thousands of desperate refugees who have arrived in Europe in recent months having fled the horrors of the Syrian Civil War.

Guests of honour at the game, which Real Madrid won 1-0, were Osama and Zaid's brother Mohammad who looked on proudly as Zaid stood alongside some of the world's best footballers.

Last week heartwarming photographs emerged showing the Alghadab arriving at Barcelona train station, from where they began the final leg of their journey on to start a new life in Madrid.
While Mr Alghadab has been offered employment at CENAFE - a school for football coaches in the suburb of Getafe - his wife and two other children remain in Turkey
CENAFE and the Spanish authorities are apparently working on getting the trio over to Madrid to join the rest of their family.
The school said it made the kind offer after its president, Miguel Ángel Galán, witnessed Mohsen's plight in the Spanish media.
'When we saw the story of Mohsen published in the newspapers we felt very bad about it,' Galán told El País, explaining how he had managed to contact the father and son via a Spanish journalist.
'We are a centre for coaches and we like to help everyone who works in this area,' he added.
Mohsen, Zaid and another of Mohsen's sons are now on a train from Munich, Germany, which is set to arrive in Madrid at midnight on Wednesday, according to school official, Luis Miguel Pedraza.
A school coaching graduate who speaks Arabic is on the train with them,The Local reports.

LASTMA to start arresting traffic offenders at home

unnamed-11

Officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority have been directed to adopt the system of booking traffic offenders rather than impounding their vehicles.

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, Mr. Oluseyi Whenu, handed down this order to the officials while briefing top echelon of LASTMA on government’s new policy thrust in the transportation sector.

Specifically, the permanent secretary hinted that plans were being concluded to arrest traffic offenders, who flouted the fines imposed on them, at home.

Whenu assured Lagos residents that a more effective traffic management and documentation procedure was being put in place, where traffic offenders were booked and given a grace period for payment and defaulters apprehended at home through the information on the motor vehicle database.

He said while government appreciated the invaluable contribution of the traffic managers to the current traffic situation in the state, more emphasis should be placed on flawless flow of traffic.

“That is the minimum we owe the people of the state,”he said.

Whenu added that LASTMA should synergise with other security agencies to ensure that the Lagos Road Traffic Law 2012 was enforced.

In a statement by the Public Relations Officer in the Ministry of Transportation, Mr. Sina Thorpe, the PS directed the officials to consider alternatives traffic management methods rather than physical apprehension and arrest.

“Since LASTMA officials are a reflection of the state government, they should ensure that their activities add value to the government’s covenant with Lagos residents to make life easier for them,” he said.

He however implored Lagos residents to reciprocate the government’s humanness by obeying all traffic laws and regulations.

Whenu also called on all motorists, whose vehicles had been impounded by LASTMA in the past, to visit the appropriate LASTMA depot for claim of their vehicles after proper documentation, assuring them of a more flexible process for prompt service delivery.

Lil Wayne -- If Someone Sells a Sex Tape with My Socks On, I'll Sue!!!
Someone's shopping a sex tape around starring LIL Wayne and 2 chicks, but Wayne's reps tells TMZ, if a porn company dares to market it, they will have hell to pay.
We're told the big porn companies have been contacted by a person in possession of the tape, which shows Wayne in nothing but his socks, and 2 more-than-accommodating women who do all the work.
Wayne's rep says if there is a tape, the rapper didn't know he was being filmed. And the rep makes it clear they will pounce if a tape is released to the public, saying, "We'll sue the hell out of them."
Without Wayne's sign-off, the big porn companies would never take the risk.

How I killed a man, kept his flesh for sale —Suspected ritualist

THE putrid smell that emanated from the chunks of fatty decomposing pieces of flesh said to be part of a human body recovered from suspected ritualists filled the entire space in front of the Oyo State Police Command headquarters, Eleiyele, Ibadan on September 15, 2015.

Journalists, policemen and visitors who were around the place covered their noses with kerchiefs.
Four suspects—Oluwatoyin Odetunde, Adewole Elijah, Adeyanju Adeniyi, and Odetunde Jacob – arrested in connection with the human flesh were all calm looking, as if waiting for the fate that would befall them after their arrest.

And a member of the syndicate, Odetunde, confessed that he got the human flesh from Elijah and one ‘doctor’, one Olusegun Babarinde, who was discovered to be a retired mortuary attendant.

Briefing journalists on the arrest of the suspects, the Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Leye Oyebade, said that they were arrested after the raiding of a black spot at Owode area of Oyo town, following information received that criminals used to gather at the spot.

The police commissioner said that the suspects were found in an uncompleted building and when searched, pieces of human flesh were found in their possession.
According to Oyebade, “the suspects, some of who wore garments and pretended as if they were coming from a church, claimed to be members of a white garment church.

But upon interrogation and search, pieces of human flesh were found in their possession. They are ritualists and are not supposed to be within the society. They will face the music and the court of law will prevail on their activity which is barbaric in nature.”

Crime Reports also learnt that Babarinde retired from one of the teaching hospitals in Oyo State.when interrogated, he was said to have confessed to the police that the human parts he supplied to Odetunde were taken from corpses deposited at the hospital mortuary. He further claimed that they either belonged to unclaimed corpses of armed robbers brought in by the police or mad people who died on the streets.

He referred to such corpses as wastes, saying he usually took some parts of the corpses before mass burial. Knowing the workings of the mortuary, despite having retired, Babarinde said he used to go to the mortuary on Saturdays when he knew other attendants would not be available.

Speaking with Crime Reports, Elijah said: “I was at Odo Oba when Odetunde called me on phone that he needed the flesh of a dead armed robber which he could use. I told him I had some which I got from a deceased armed robber when I was still working as a night guard. My partner, one Tunji, and I killed him beside a river at Odo Oba along a private hospital road because he ran away when we tried to stop him one night.

“My partner cut a part of the armed robber’s buttocks and kept it. That was about four months ago. I covered it up somewhere and regularly preserved it with schnapps. My partner died the following day in an accident when he was going to Osogbo.
“I told Odetunde that I would check the remaining human flesh I kept and he asked me to bring it to him in Oyo. He asked Mr Adeniyi to use his motorcycle to bring me to Oyo. I tied the human flesh in a polythene bag and took it to him. As we were talking, police came and arrested us.”

In his own confession, Odetunde (65) stated: “I am a prophet of a C&S church. It is true I asked Elijah to get some human flesh for me. I wanted to use it to perform rituals for someone. I use any part of human flesh. I took the buttock part from Elijah while I got the fleshy rib part from one ‘doctor’ in Ogbomoso.”
Adeyanju told Crime Reports that “Odetunde had a church at Odo Oba before he moved to Lagos State. So he said he needed to rent the place out since no member was attending the church again.

We wanted to discuss on how I would be in charge of the church. He called me recently and asked me to join him in Oyo. He wrote some things in a paper for Elijah about ritual processes but I was not involved. We were together when police came to arrest us.”
But Odetunde said that Adeyanju knew about what he was doing and had come to him so that he could understudy him and learn how to do such rituals too.

Jacob, who is Odetunde’s son, said: “I didn’t know anything about the issue. My father called me and told me he was coming from Lagos State to Oyo. I went to him so that I could greet him and get some money from him. I met Adeyanju and Elijah with him.”
Crime Reports gathered that the suspects had been charged to court.

The life-shattering moment I discovered my grandfather was my dad - after he raped my mother at gunpoint

A woman who was conceived after her mother was raped by her own father at gunpoint has bravely spoken out about the trauma of discovering her horrific family secret that led to her battle with anorexia.
Jodi Cahill, from Melbourne, received a letter from her estranged mother four years ago informing her of a secret she had kept for three decades - they shared the same father.
The 38-year-old told Daily Mail Australia in letters to come her mother detailed the years of abuse she had suffered at the hands of her father, Raymond.

Jodi Cahill found out she was conceived after her mother was raped by her own father in a letter sent to her four years ago
I got the [first] letter in the mail without warning whatsoever. I was scared to go to my mailbox a few weeks after that. She [my mother] kept writing and writing and writing,' Ms Cahill, who was raised by her divorced grandmother - Juanita - after her mother developed psychosis, said.
'She virtually said "it’s about time I told you the truth of who your father was... you and I share the same father", and I was like "what?"
I was so in shock and disgusted. That night I tried to jump off a bridge. I didn't know what to do with it [the news].'
But with the terrible truth came a moment of clarity for Ms Cahill who now understood why her mother had 'hated' her so much.

Ms Cahill said her mother sent her a letter to tell her and she was 'shocked and disgusted' when she found out. Later she developed anorexia and dropped to 34kg at her worst

'Everything that happened when I was little really made sense to me. She was always in and out of hospital. She only told someone about it about 10 years ago,' the public relations executive said.
'I just thought she was always mental and the way she treated me, I just couldn't just understand any of it.
'She threatened to kill me with a gun once. She told the police she had a gun and she was coming for me.
'It must have been horrific for her every day to look at me as a reminder. Everything makes sense now.
'She told me: "Every time I look at you it's a reminder of what happened, it reminds me of him".'

Following her mother's confession, Ms Cahill's life started to unravel and she threw herself into her work running her charity organisation instead of dealing with her issues.
But soon she stopped eating and started to lose weight, and eventually she was diagnosed with anorexia.
'I slowly cut down on foods. My friends saw I was getting smaller and smaller... they saw me get to 46 kilos,' Ms Cahill said.
'I made sure I flushed food out of my system with laxatives.
'When I felt empty I felt okay. I could on concentrate on how empty my stomach felt, which is kind of ironic.
'At the worst point, I was about 34 kilos.'

Ms Cahill's anorexia got so bad that she ended up in The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
'I was fed from a tube for about four months,' she told Daily Mail Australia.
After years of battling the condition, Ms Cahill said she never wants to go back to who she was before, even though she still has a long way to go.
Recently, she did a stint at the Northside Clinic in Greenwich, on Sydney's North Shore, where doctors helped her onto her road to recovery.
Her previous time there had been unsuccessful after she left the facility for six weeks to visit friends in Melbourne, and fell back into her old habits and lost 13kg.
But this time Ms Cahill is confident she can beat her anorexia.
'Every day is hard. This is first time in five months I haven’t touched anything related to eating disorders. I just want to focus on how I can help. I'm as healed as I can be,' she said.
'It's all about your mindset. You can have the best doctors and the best friends, but if you don't hate the anorexia as much as you hate yourself, you won't beat it.'
Ms Cahill hopes that in sharing her story she can help other beat the condition.
She said she wanted to help as many people as should could.
