MEET DAD OF THE YEAR! SANDANI: IF MUMS CAN DO IT, I CAN

The 26-year-old father from Makhado in Limpopo was laughed at by other men when he was recently seen with his three-year-old daughter, Funzani, on his back at a shop.
Some people even said the little girl’s mum had cast a love spell on him.
Sandani told Daily Sun: “To make grocery shopping easier I bought a towel to carry Funzani on my back.
“Women do it all the time, so why shouldn’t I?”
Sandani, who works as a safety officer at a mine, said he couldn’t believe it when other men laughed at him and said the child’s mum had given him korobela.
“I asked one guy why he was laughing but he looked away and didn’t respond.
“He probably thought I was a madman,” said Sandani.
However, the father of one also won some fans with his parenting skills.
A staff member at the shop said: “He knows how to carry his baby perfectly. It’s very cute and men like this are rare.”
Sandani said he took good care of his daughter because he was raised by a single mum after his father left when he was only a year old.
“I don’t want my child not to know the love of a father. It’s not a good thing at all.
“I love my daughter and will do everything to protect her,” he said.
Funzani’s mum, Lebohang Mashego (24), said Sandani was a good father and she knew she could depend on him.
“I’m proud of him. I’m glad he’s not ashamed to carry our daughter like that, and I didn’t give him korobela.”

29 year old Perpetual Ezenwa, has asked the customary court in Igando Lagos State to dissolve her four months old marriage to Charles Ezenwa, claiming the man started beating her less than 4 days after paying her dowry. Perpetual said she married Charles after dating him for less than 2 months and now seeks divorce over what the she tagged domestic violence.

She said, "we married after courting for less than 2 months. Before I married him, I've started noticing his behaviors but when I told my father he said I should not leave him that he would change after our marriage.

"I believed he said that because they are from the same village in Imo and being the first daughter of my parents, they want me to marry on time. But, he kept becoming worse and I've decided to leave after 4 months of our marriage. 4 days after the payment of my dowry and our traditional marriage, he started beating me on flimsy excuses. He beats me with turning sticks in one of those days all because I received a text message from a friend and the message only reads "good day madam, how's your weekend ". This was what Charles saw that day and he nearly killed me. Come to think of it, this same man that was beating me is having an affairs with a fiancée of one of our neighbors. He did was caught on one of those days and I got to know about it. I told my father of all the happenstance but he would only say I should endure it. When I couldn't bear it again, I've moved to my parent's house and I've asked Charles to come and get his dowry back according to our tradition so that I can marry another man but, he has refused to collect it saying he would allow me to suffer because he knew I can't marry another man unless he collect the dowry and that I would grow old in my father's house."
She now wants the court to force him to collect back his dowry. Charles was not in court to say his side of the story,  so the Court's president, Adegboyega Omilola who sat over the case sent a court order to him and the case was adjourned till February 8, 2016.

OMG !!! Check out what this transgender woman did to herself with help of plastic surgery

56-year-old Fulvia Pellegrino, a transgender woman from Perevagno, Italy says she has spent £52K on surgery and plans to spend more until she reaches 'perfection' and she has the full support of her wife, Marissa. In addition to spending £9000 on her bum, Pellegrino has had more than 150 lip and cheekbone fillers, four breast implants, and two rounds of liposuction.

Fulvia said: “I am not happy with my ‘perfect’ body, because it is not perfect. Perfection is something else.”

Fulvia was just fifteen years old when she first realised she was transgender. But fearful of her strict religious family, and her father who was in the clergy, Fulvia kept her feelings a secret.

She said: “I was living with my family who were very narrow minded and very religious. I never manifested my will because it was impossible with my dad. He had three sons and he wanted three sons only.”

Even after she married Marissa Altare 32 years ago, she kept it under wraps but secretly frequented gay clubs and cross-dressed in the privacy of her garage.

She said: “I was feeling trapped in my body. I hid in the garage and put make-up on dressed like a woman. I never showed that side of me because I was ashamed of it.”

Fulvia masked her turmoil and exaggerated her masculinity in public, buying guns and owning expensive cars.

She said: “It is difficult to grow up with a body which is not yours. You try to mask it in every way playing football, drinking beers, buying American 4x4s and go shooting to feel like a man. Instead you understand it is a mask and so you need to throw it away and become what you are.” It got too much to bear and finally, Fulvia came out to Marissa, that was in 2000, sixteen years ago. She said: “Obviously Marisa lost if for a moment, it is not something that is easy to accept.

“Today Marisa and I are nothing more than two sisters. We live together, we argue like two normal people but not like husband and wife.” Fulvia began her journey to a new self with hormone therapy while Marissa saw a psychologist to help her get to grips with her new reality. Fulvia's wife may have been supportive but her parents were as vehement in their opposition.

Fulvia said: “My dad asked my wife to sign a paper to send me into a psychiatric institution to make me change my mind.
“It was very hard, when my father passed away they didn’t let us go to the funeral because they were ashamed of us.
“The only people who accepted me were my brothers.” That didn't deter her and in 2004 she got breast implants and a nose job and a facelift three more breast augmentations, liposuction, numerous fillers in her cheeks and lips and a £22,000 butt lift followed. The financial cost however, was taking its toll and Fulvia who used to run a restaurant struggled.

To keep up with the rising costs, she sold her guns, cars and a house in France to pay for her transformation and now the pair struggle on Marisa’s wage as a holistic therapist. Inhabitants of Perevagno have ostracised the couple and their friends have deserted them. Fulvia said: “I am now the clown of Peveragno. They point at me, they talk about me, they start inventing stories about me that I am a prostitute. “My friends have all vanished – they didn’t accept me.

“I couldn’t be without Marisa and do what I do without her. She is always here with me.” All these notwithstanding, Fulvia is soldiering on in her quest for perfection, “I want to look like Allanah Starr, an American transgender porn star" She said. “Plastic surgery is not a drug but its something that people like me need.

“I am not happy with my face and other parts of my body.
“I won’t stop here, I want to go ahead because it’s not perfect. If I reach perfection maybe I will stop” She added.

Twitter to expand tweets from 140 characters to 10,000

Twitter's most beloved features is set to change. The company is planning to extend its 140-character limit to as many as 10,000, according to a person familiar with the matter. Twitter’s fans were quick to complain that such a change, expected to be announced by the end of March, would spoil the brevity and speed of the real-time service.
The character limit that forces users to pen snappy tweets could give way to the longer essays found on Facebook. It could transform Twitter into more of a public blogging platform rather than one that is succinct and well-suited to quips and breaking news headlines.

This person said, however, that Twitter Inc. is aiming to retain the look and feel of the user timeline. For tweets that are longer than 140 characters, users will have to click and expand to see the rest of the text. As users write beyond the 140-character limit, Twitter will signal to them that they have crossed the threshold as a way to encourage brevity.
In a tweet on Tuesday after the news spilled out, co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted a screenshot of text, 1,317 characters with spaces, explaining his thinking behind the expansion. “We’ve spent a lot of time observing what people are doing on Twitter, and we see them taking screenshots of text and tweeting it,” Mr. Dorsey wrote. “Instead, what if that text…was actually text? Text that could be searched.  Text that could be highlighted. That’s more utility and power.” Despite the change, Mr. Dorsey said Twitter will “never lose that feeling” of speed, creativity and brevity.
"Despite the lamentations that the change will alter the spirit of Twitter, the truth is that users have been clawing for a longer character limit for some time. Loyal users often create so-called tweetstorms where they string a series of tweets together by replying to them in numerical succession. Users have also gone around the character restriction by attaching screenshots of longer text to their tweets.
In July 2015, Twitter expanded the 140-character limit on private messages to 10,000.

Twitter has been doing a bit of soul-searching to jump-start user growth ever since the return of Mr. Dorsey as CEO in July. The debate to increase the character limit has been in the works since as early as September.

A Kano-based Sharia court has sentenced an Imam, Abdul Niasse, to death for blaspheming Islam's holiest figure, Prophet Muhammad. He was arrested in Abuja in August where he was in hiding and was brought back to Kano for his trial "He has up to a month to appeal the sentence and it is most likely he is going for appeal," Soron-Dinki added

(Graphic photos) 12 Year Old Shot In The Jaw And Upper Lips By Suspected Fulani Herdsman In Jos

According to Mr. Bagos who shared the photos on Facebook, Geofry, a 12-year-old from Robb in Barkin Ladi was ambushed and attacked last month in the bush byu suspected Fulani herdsman.
He was shot in the jaw, shot also on his upper lips and was left for death. He is currently receiving treatment at Jos University Teaching Hospital. Read what Bagos wrote below;

“On my visit to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) I met this young chap Geofry from Robb in Barkin Ladi. Geofry is 12 years old, early last month he was ambushed and attacked around 4pm on his way home by suspected Fulani herdsmen whom were hiding in the bush and came out to attack him. He was shot in the jaw and his upper lips / side of the eyes cut, he was left lifeless thinking he was dead.

To cut the story short, so far, Geofry has gone through about two constructive surgery and he still have to undergo more surgery.I kept wandering what has this boy done to deserve this inhuman act. As it is today, children in Barkin Ladi and Riyom are almost wiped out in over 50 villages that are destroyed, the ones left are in IDP camps. Let’s make Geofry smile again. I believe God has a plan for Geofry to be someone great in future so let’s put our hands together and support him to be healed and go to school.”

Zambian Pastor Accuses TB Joshua Of Demonic Predictions & Fake Prophecies

Zambian Pastor Conrad Mbewe Says TB Joshua’s Predictions Are Demonic, Prophecies False.“TB Joshua’s Predictions Are Demonic, His Prophecies Are False”- Zambian Pastor Conrad Mbewe Blasts SCOAN Founder

Well, in the last few years, the prophet has become notorious for prophecies related to politicians or football (what Americans call “soccer”). The internet is awash with news items claiming that “sources” have told them that the prophet has predicted the death of a president or the final score sheet of a pending football match. Hence, in the streets of Africa, TB Joshua has become the latest wonder-boy. Everyone is talking about him.

For instance, “sources” said that TB Joshua predicted that the Zambian national football team would lift the prestigious AFCON Cup early this year. In fact, the “sources” also said he predicted Didier Drogba’s heart-rending penalty miss—which could have buried the hopes of the entire nation of Zambia. So, even if you did not know TB Joshua prior to Zambia’s recent win, his name was added to our staple diet from that point onwards.

Being a pastor in Africa, I have been asked again and again by people in the streets what I make of all this. Thankfully, my own church members know better. However, I engage in a lot of one-on-one and door-to-door evangelism, and this is one of those questions I get asked very often. It is obvious that TB Joshua and his predictions are on the minds of many Zambians (and Africans). Let me make just two comments about all this.

Unverified Claims

The first comment I want to make is that many of the stories doing their rounds about TB Joshua’s feats amount to fictitious stories that are unverified. They get passed on from one hearer to another and grow larger and larger until they become “real”. They can best be included in the folklores that made up so much of African traditional stories, like the stories of the beautiful women that once used to walk dry out of the river at full moon to mesmerise village men and disappear back into the water!

It is the same with the prophecy of Chelsea winning the Champions League Cup. I have searched the Internet looking for a clip where TB Joshua is saying in clear words that Chelsea would win the Cup but all I have found are statements that “sources” have said it. Here is a man who runs a TV network for 24 hours a day, and yet the one piece of information that is the hype of today cannot be found! In fact, what I seem to find are statements made just before the match claiming that he did not say anything of the kind. Perhaps someone can send me a YouTube link where he said it—and said it clearly.

I am reminded of the many claims to healings that are made by “anointed” Charismatic preachers. Every week, there are tens of thousands of miracle services conducted across the country and the continent. When I say that these are just publicity and fundraising gimmicks, sincere Christians are often horrified at my saying so. When I then ask them to give me the name and address of one person whom they know who was once blind but now sees, or was a cripple (on a wheelchair or on crutches) who now walks, or was deaf and dumb but now speaks, they suddenly sober up and admit that they do not know anyone. “Sources” have told them of many people who have been healed.

I once participated in a live radio programme on the subject of miraculous healing. There were two other participants—a Roman Catholic Priest and a Charismatic pastor. I made it clear that the claims being made by “anointed” Charismatic preachers were false. The Roman Catholic priest was neither here nor there, but the Charismatic pastor insisted that these miracles were happening everywhere everyday. He even lost his temper over my claims. In order to prove my contention, I asked on the live radio programme that anyone who had been blind, deaf, dumb, or crippled and had now been healed should phone it. Like Elijah of old, I kept asking for a solid two hours. We got a lot of phone calls arguing for or against claims of miraculous healing, but not a single person called to testify that they themselves had been miraculously healed—for two solid hours. The Charismatic pastor finally commented, “Perhaps they are just shy!”

Demonic Predictions

My second comment is that there is such a thing as demonic predictions. So, we should never conclude that persons who can foretell events are de facto God’s anointed servants; which is the extrapolation I seem to be hearing about “Prophet” TB Joshua.

Perhaps the clearest example of a person who had such demonic powers in the New Testament is found in Acts 16. The Bible says, “As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and us, crying out, ‘These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation.’ And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, ‘I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.’ And it came out that very hour. But when her owners saw that their hope of gain was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace before the rulers” (Acts 16:16-19).

Fortune-telling abilities have been with mankind for a very long time. They are a form of prophecy because they foretell the future, but they are not from God. In fact, in the Old Testament, God commanded that fortune-tellers must be stoned (Exodus 22:18). God expressly forbade enquiring from them about the unknown (Lev.19:31, Deut. 18:14).

So, how can one know if a self-proclaimed prophet today is from God? (My confessional position is that the extra-ordinary gifts of the Holy Spirit—including prophecy—ceased long ago. However, since this is not the confessional standard of many readers of this blog, I will use another argument). God’s test, given to the people of Israel in the Old Testament, was based on the prophet’s teaching about God himself and his way of salvation. If the prophet’s predictions were true but his teaching was heretical, it meant that God was testing the people to see if they were really committed to him (Deut. 13:1-3). In other words, is “Prophet”

TB Joshua preaching the true gospel of salvation?

Here is something else worth noticing. In the Bible, prophets were prophesying about future events related to the consequences of the obedience or disobedience of God’s people. The prophecies were, therefore, meant to bring God’s people back to himself in repentance and faith, or to encourage them to remain faithful to God in dark times.

They were not simply telling football teams whether they would win or lose a football match. Imagine Elijah, or Isaiah, or Jeremiah, or Daniel telling us who was to win some match in the great games of their day. Come on; give me a break! That is totally preposterous!
