Mother, 42, reveals she is mistaken for her 14-year-old daughter's SISTER and can even fit into her size eight clothes... but says the secret to looking young is staying single

Jackson-edwA 42-year-old beautician claims she looks so youthful she is often mistaken for her daughter's sister - and can even fit into the 14-year-old's clothes.

Beverly Wright, from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, says she is asked for ID more now than when she was younger, and believes her skin is wrinkle-free because she 'doesn't do relationships'.

The mother-of-one, who wears her blonde hair in a stylish bob, and wears tight-fitting dresses, says she could pass for a woman in her 20s, and is often compared to someone the same age as her daughter Bailey.

A pretty woman and blogger says "I'm not a prostitute and I don't have a sugar daddy!' Blogger"

I'm not a prostitute and I don't have a sugar daddy!' Blogger, 27, pens furious rant about 'ignorant' people who judge her because she is a 'pretty woman' traveling alone.

A travel blogger has opened up about the social stereotypes that come along with being a 'pretty' woman who travels alone, insisting that she is sick of people assuming she is getting over a break-up - or that she is a prostitute on the prowl for her next customer.

My Life's A Movie blogger Alyssa Ramos, 27, from Los Angeles, explained in an essay for the Huffington Post that she can't figure out why her desire to travel alone is an 'international mystery to some people'. And even worse, she said her appearance earns her judgmental stares wherever she goes.
'Pretty girl traveling alone in another country typically automatically translates to prostitute,' she griped.
'Not joking. If I wear make-up, if I wear anything that shows skin, if I wear leggings - or God forbid, if I wear a bikini - I always get the most opinionated stares from people assuming I'm looking for my next customer to pick up.'

Solitary life: Alyssa Ramos, 27, from Los Angeles, pictured in a jungle in Panama, said she is sick of people think she is getting over a breakup or working as a prostitute when she travels alone

The blonde beauty recently met a German man in Cuba who confirmed that most people think an attractive woman who is traveling alone is indeed a prostitute, telling her that the locals had even warned him about 'pretty Cuban girls' who troll the beach looking for tourists to talk to.

'No wonder why people look at me like I'm going to steal their husbands,' she wrote.
Alyssa explained that some of the confusion stems from the fact that some people just can't figure out why she would willingly choose to set off on her own, without friends, or a male companion, to travel with her.
'I travel alone because I can,' she wrote. 'I don't really like waiting around for other people to go with me.'
Alyssa, who has visited more than 30 countries and been on six continents, insisted that she has paid for all of her trips herself, joking that she has yet to figure out how to use her pretty looks to her advantage when she is buying plane tickets as a faceless customer online.

Entertainment Gossip :You know how Meek Mill rapped about someone peeing on Drake? True story!

You know how Meek Mill rapped about someone peeing on Drake?

Well, according to a new report, the verse is based on a true story!

This feud just keeps getting better! At the end of his new diss song about Drake, 28, called “Wanna Know,” Meek Mill, 28, says, “You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater n****, we ain’t forget.” Ok, so we just found out that Drake DID actually get peed on, according to a new report, and we cannot stop laughing at the story (sorry Drake!) — find out exactly what happened!

Ok, so here’s supposedly how Drake got peed on, guys. During a private screening of “Takers” on the Sony lot in 2010, Drake and one of T.I.’s friends (random, we know) got into a fight about 30 minutes into the movie, according toTMZ.
So, the two started arguing and apparently, Drake “jumped up screaming and ran out of the theater,” the source explained. The argument was about “over who was sitting where” and the friend “got pissed, and pissed on Drake!”

America's cutest couple :Check out what Chrissy Teigen and John Legend her up to, check it out.

Is there anything Chrissy Teigen can’t do?

The model showed off yet another one of her talents on Instagram, and her handsome husband was just as impressed as we were with her balancing act!

Chrissy Teigen, 29, has never been shy about showing off what she’s working with on her instagram account. This was proved true again on July 30, when Chrissy posted a video that showed her balancing a plate of chicken wings on her impressive butt, as husbandJohn Legend , 36, happily looked on! Work those skills, Chrissy!
We’re seriously in awe of what Chrissy can do! On Thursday, July 30, the gorgeous model posted a video on Instagram of herself lounging poolside as husband John swam nearby. Nothing special, right? Chrissy spiced things up by teasing John with a little routine: she balanced a plate of delicious wings on her (amazing!) butt, and was able to keep doing so as she flexed and grooved.

Poor Meek Mill !GETS Dumps by the Queen Nicki Minaj.

Meek Mill and Drake, Nicki has stayed away from the drama by not saying anything or taking sides but according to Media Take Out, Meek Mill's diss track did it for Nicki and she's done with Meek Mill.

According to MTO..
Just when you thought that Meek Mill's week couldn't get ANY WORSE . . . MediaTakeOut.com learned that Nicki Minaj and Meek have officially decided to call it QUITS. Nicki reportedly broke it off with Meek LAST NIGHT. Don't worry concertgoers . . . they are still of GOOD TERMS - at least NICKI IS with Meek. The two plan on FULFILLING the rest of the tour obligations together. But as for their relationship . .. . it's a WRAP.
What caused the BREAKUP . . . and why did it happen LAST NIGHT . . . shortly after Meek Mill's new diss track FLOPPED??
According to one of Nicki's BEST FRIENDS, "It's complicated. I think they took their relationship too far, too fast." Nicki's homie REFUSED to say whether the Drake WAR had anything to do with it. But we suspect that IT DID.
You'll recall that MediaTakeOut.com BROKE THE NEWS that Meek STARTED THE WAR when he learned that Drake and Nicki had a 'DATING' RELATIONSHIP in the past. And it has to be MORE THAN COINCIDENCE that Nicki DUMPED DUDE . . . just when he's become a LAUGHING STOCK on social media.

Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe said the US and British embassies paid vendors to stir up trouble in the country.

Relations between Zimbabwe and the European Union has not been cordial since 2002 after the European Union imposed sanctions on the Zimbabwean government following allegations of human rights abuses and election rigging.

On Wednesday July 29th, Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe said the US and British embassies paid vendors to stir up trouble in the country.
"These are ambassadors of countries that imposed sanctions on us, so we have said we will kick them out of the country. They do not want to see peace in developing countries.
They just want to see chaos; people fighting each other, terrorism everywhere. British and American ambassadors - what kind of people are they? They are no good for us. Behave and you will be in peace with us. Misbehave and we will kick you in your bottom. It is our country," he threatened.

News :Microsoft unit fires 85% of Nigerian workers

Microsoft on Thursday sacked 34 (85 per cent) of the 40 employees in the Nigerian office of its phone division.

The sacking came 24 hours after the company’s latest Windows 10 was made available in Nigeria and 189 other countries.

Although, Windows 10 is now available as a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems or with new personal computers and tablets, industry experts said it would leave about 15 million Nigerian payments cards prone to hacking.

Employees at the Nigerian office were silent on the matter, but a source said that the downsizing was part of the global decision of Microsoft to streamline its phone division.

The source said the sacking was in line with the massive layoff of workers “sweeping through the global offices of Microsoft’s phone division.”

The Chief Executive Officer, Microsoft, Satya Nadella, had said in a memo to all Nigerian employees in late June that the company needed to make some “tough choices” in areas that were not working.

The memo had stated that 7,800 jobs would be cut from the mobile division working on Windows Phone hardware.

The e-mail from Nadella to all employees, which was made available to our correspondent, read, “We are moving from a strategy to grow a standalone phone business to a strategy to grow and create a vibrant Windows ecosystem, including our first-party device family.

“In the near-term, we’ll run a more effective and focused phone portfolio, while retaining capability for long-term reinvention in mobility.
“Microsoft was committed to our first-party devices, including phones, but needed to focus its phone efforts in the near term.”

According to him, the company will also write off $7.6bn from the acquisition of Nokia, despite it only paying $7.2bn for the company in 2014.

“The future prospects for the phone hardware segment were below original expectations due to the new plans,” he added.
Nadella said that the news would “surely leave an unclear future for Windows Phone.”

Although he said that in the near future, the company would run a “more effective” phone portfolio, he added, “But that doesn’t exactly throw the company’s weight behind the platform.”

Nadella said that the move would not give partners reassurance that the platform was a good choice to build new hardware or apps for the future.

“Microsoft is also pushing ahead to release Lumia flagships this year and is still actively developing Windows 10 mobile,” he added.

1 Dollar = 1 Naira: Buhari approves an exchange rate of N160 to $1

I DIDN’T vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in the last election, though I know that Nigeria needed change.
I just disagreed with the change agent due to reasons I have explained in various write-ups in the lead up to the election.
I didn’t vote for Jonathan either; the PDP as was constituted and operated just wasn’t a Party I could even consider for anything.  In the end, I voted for one of the lesser known Parties.
But Buhari it is.  The majority vote will always prevail and that is respected here without any equivocation.  So we move on.
As we move on however, it is becoming a struggle not to be uncomfortable in the way things have unfolded and in the way they are playing out.
Some of the reservations expressed by some of us are now rearing their ugly heads.
Contrary to his inauguration speech, and contrary to reasonable, logical expectations, Buhari hasn’t put a fully functional government in place.  This is already the end of July.
As we say around here, nothing spoil.  The only harm I saw were incompetent governors (who are unable to manage quite sizable resources) dancing around the President, taking advantage, and getting off easy.
The mound of flip flops and reversal of official pronouncements have only meant a slight loss of face; nothing major.
However, I  began to panic when I read a news report that Buhari has approved an exchange rate of N160 to $1 for Christian pilgrims.  This report was publicised widely and with plenty of fanfare.
To me, it is another indication that the President sorely needs all the help he can get.  He needs technical advisers and a seasoned cabinet like a fish needs water.
But the President has already and unwittingly set up his eventual Ministers for failure.  They can’t win.  Expectations are just too high now.
Ministers would still have to be Nigerians, working in Nigeria.  The current perception is that Buhari is searching for the best of the very best – folks with no blemishes at all but blessed with superpowers.
Optimal performance bothering on miracles would be expected from these Ministers and other appointed government functionaries.
How could anyone go into  a job like that?  It is unrealistic and quite unfair.
All the same, I am becoming increasingly convinced that the President created this governance lacuna in order for him to have unfettered, unchallenged (dictatorial, if you will) shot at managing the country for a while before Ministers, Advisers and other technical and legal people are brought in and begin to rein-in some of his more impulsive and autocratic tendencies.
It seems to me that Buhari wants to get in a few military-style diktats, strong-arm a few people before settling down to normal democratic governance.
Because, so far, the only things on the table are hunting down people, dire innuendos and promises of persecution.
As has been whispered all along, the President has finally confirmed that he intends to probe just Jonathan’s government.
It is only that government that is corrupt in Nigeria’s recent history.  Obasanjo is living large.
The bribes from the Halliburton scandal are the major stakeholders in Nigeria’s present day change project.  Even the scions of Abacha are running loose, obscenely flaunting stolen wealth.  No problem with that.
No investigations.  Now tell me; how are certain sections of this country supposed to feel?  Does this not seem like the  start of marginalisation and dehumanisation of the usual suspects all over again?
Even Madam Patience Jonathan was comprehensively humiliated at Port Harcourt airport last week when she attempted to use the VIP waiting area.
She was refused access by security personnel citing “orders from Abuja.”
How petty!  If a former First Lady cannot use an airport’s VIP lounge, who should?  I suppose Rotimi Amaechi is using his APC mates to exact revenge.  Anyway, there is God o!
The inclusiveness that was pervasive in the last four years is fast dissipating.  Perhaps, someone needs to remind the President that we are in a thriving democracy.  The opposition and opposing voices are not supposed to be treated like conquered prisoners of war, or like burnt offerings.
Which brings me back to the issue of the pilgrims’ exchange rate.
I could have sworn that I heard candidate Buhari campaign that he would scrap government’s participation in, and subsidy of religious pilgrimages.  But he  has only gone and directed that pilgrims should exchange N160 to the dollar.
What this means is that a pilgrim with N400,000 who would  have received $1,740 at the normal exchange rate will now get $2,500 under the Buhari plan. The government will cough up the difference.
Last year, about 14,000 Christians made one form of pilgrimage to one place or the other.  76,000 Muslims went to Mecca.  If we do the math, the government is going to end up subsidising around a further $68 million or N13.6 billion on top of whatever is already subsidised for these pilgrimages.
Can you see why the President needs ministers and other technical people like yesterday?
Furthermore, a pilgrim with N500,000 would get $3,125.  In theory, this person could turn around and sell back dollars on the black market and make a profit of $1,000 or N237,000.
Now, an…emm…shall we say, enterprising Pilgrims Board official can fund 100 people into this scheme and he is looking at a cool N23,700,000 million per pilgrimage cycle.
The Christians alone run four pilgrimages in one year!  Heavens only know what they are looking for.
Please, please, we do not desire on a national scale a situation like that which currently exist in Osun State.
The struggling governor of that State, Arigbesola, who has not been able to pay workers salaries in like forever somehow manages to find money every year to pay for Osun citizens transportation during sundry religious holidays; no audits, no questions asked.
