Check out this Church Where All Members Worship God Naked (Photos)

A Virginia-based church, White Tail Chapel, has caused a stir.

Chapel: The pastor leads the church by example, standing in his pulpit without a scrap of clothing as he reads stories from the Bible to the faithful gathered in his small rural church in Southampton, Virginia (pictured)

The church got everyone’s attention when it introduced a kind of worship where the members have to praise God naked.

Although the rule was not made compulsory for the members of the church a year ago when the idea was introduced, on Sunday, August 2nd, 2015, the head pastor announced to his congregants that nudity is now mandatory in the church.

Daily Mail reports that the church, which is located in Ivor in the southern state of Virginia, has since then asked members and worshippers alike to leave behind their material concerns including clothing anytime they come to worship.

The church now describes itself as a family nudist community where visitors can enjoy all manner of activities, including spiritual worship in a completely natural (nude) way.

Freedom: Pastor Allen Parker said he came to the decision to allow naked worship after concluding his flock should be free to forgo materialism and the ‘pretense’ of clothing if they desire.

In justifying the church’s ridiculous way of worship, Pastor Allen Parker said that many of Jesus’ most important moments happened while he was naked. Recently, the church even conducted a marriage in the nude with couple Katie and Robert.

Pastor Parker said: “When Jesus was born he was naked, when he was crucified he was naked and when he arose he left his clothes in the tomb and he was naked.

If God made us that way, how can that be wrong? I consider this a gift and a privilege God has given me as our members are caring, understanding and they’re community and family oriented. We have one of the most involved chapels anyplace around. I’ll put our church up against others around.”

Buhari fires eight NNPC group executive directors

Twenty-four hours after the Federal Government replaced the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, it announced the sacking of all the eight executive directors of the corporation.

This was confirmed by the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC, Mr. Ohi Alegbe, in a statement on Wednesday night in Abuja.
Alegbe said in the statement, “The Federal Government has approved the retirement of all eight group executive directors of the NNPC with immediate effect.

“The affected group executive directors are Mr. Bernard Otti, GED, Finance and Accounts; Dr. Timothy Okon, acting GED, Exploration and Production, who also doubled as the Coordinator, Corporate Planning & Strategy; Mr. Adebayo Ibirogba, Engineering and Technology; Dr. David Ige, Gas and Power; Ms. Aisha Abdurrahman, Commercial and Investment; Dr. Dan Efebo, Corporate Services; Mr. Ian Udoh, Refining & Petrochemicals; and Dr. Attahiru Yusuf, Business Development.”

The statement noted that the new Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, personally conveyed the Federal Government’s decision to the GEDs.

He expressed gratitude to them for their services to the corporation and wished them success in their future endeavours.

No replacements were named, but our correspondent gathered that four new group executive director positions had been created and that some names were already being considered by President Muhammadu Buhari to fill them.

Sources at the corporation gave the new directorates as of Refining and Engineering, Exploration and Production, Commercial and Investment, and Finance.

Buhari had a week ago, pledged to fix the oil sector, rid the industry of rot and recover money stolen by operators in the sector.

On Tuesday, he relieved Dr. Joseph Dawha of his appointment as the GMD of the national oil firm, replacing him with Kachikwu, who until his appointment was the Executive Vice Chairman and General Counsel of Exxon-Mobil (Africa).
The President had in late June dissolved the NNPC board.

The Federal Government, through the NNPC, regulates and participates in the country’s petroleum industry.

The NNPC was established on April 1, 1977 as a merger of the Nigerian National Oil Corporation and the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel.

The law that created the firm permits it to manage the joint ventures between the Federal Government and some foreign multinational corporations, including Shell, Agip, ExxonMobil, Chevron and Total.

Through the collaboration with the companies, the Federal Government conducts petroleum exploration and production.

But industry observers had on several occasions complained that the corporation lacked supervision, stressing that it had degenerated to a rent-collector for the government with less attention to transparency and accountability.

On Tuesday, the New York-based Natural Resources Governance Initiative canvassed the need to overhaul the management of the country’s oil sales process by the NNPC as top priority for the Buhari-led administration to stem waste and loss of billions of dollars in revenue.
The international watchdog said in one of its latest reports that the NNPC’s approach to oil sales was suffering from high corruption risks and had failed to maximise returns for the nation.

The authors of the NRGI report, led by Aaron Sayne, said, “We find that management of the NNPC’s oil sales has worsened in recent years, and particularly since 2010.

The largest problems stem from the rising number of ad hoc, makeshift practices the corporation has introduced to work around its deeper structural problems.”

The NNPC receives about one million barrels of oil per day, or almost half of the country’s total production, part of which is sold to its subsidiary, Pipelines and Product Marketing Company, for the country’s refineries, while a larger volume is sold to traders.

Lecture, Afeez Baruwa arrested for raping 18years old girl, Caroline in Lagos.

The police in Lagos State have arrested a part-time lecturer, Afeez Baruwa, for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl, identified as Caroline (pseudonym) in the Yaba area.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the victim, who was reportedly raped inside a study room, was seeking admission into the University of Lagos, Akoka.

It was gathered that Baruwa was arrested by the Surulere Police Division on Monday, August 3.

Our correspondent gathered that the lecturer, however, told the police in his statement that the sexual intercourse was by mutual consent, insisting that he did not rape the victim.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the lecturer and Caroline’s father belonged to the same landlords’ association in the Abesan, Ipaja area.

It was gathered that the victim’s father had allowed her daughter to follow the lecturer on July 23, to UNILAG for an admission process.

It was learnt that Baruwa allegedly took the girl inside one of the study halls, bolted the door, and raped her.

It was learnt that after the incident, Caroline, who told her parents about the rape, was taken to a non-governmental organisation, Mirabel Centre, where she was tested.

The medical result reportedly confirmed that the teenager was violated.
Our correspondent gathered that Caroline was thereafter taken to the Lagos State Office of the Public Defender, and the matter was also reported at the police station. Baruwa was subsequently arrested.

A police source in Surulere said, “The suspect is actually a friend of the father of the girl. The girl had written the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, and she needed assistance with the post-UTME.
“So, the father sent her to meet and discuss with the lecturer.

“But, it turned out that on July 23 when the girl visited the suspect, he raped the girl in the study room.
“The suspect confessed to the act, but his claim is that the sex was by mutual consent.”

The Director of the Office of the Public Defender, Mrs. Omotola Rotimi, said the OPD would write a letter to the UNILAG Vice-Chancellor on the incident, so as to ensure that such did not reoccur.

She said, “The victim’s father wanted the lecturer to assist with his daughter’s admission. On the fateful day, the girl left with the lecturer as early as 5.30am, and they got to the school at about 7am.
“No one had arrived at the hall except a woman. While the exams had yet to start, he raped her.

She went home, and the father found out that her daughter had been raped. He took her to the Mirabel Centre, which then informed the OPD.
“The centre also contacted the police at the Surulere and Isokoko divisions, and the suspect was arrested.

“We are going to defend the girl, and we are writing the VC. The suspect is said to be in the Department of Accounting. He claimed the sex was consensual, but that is not a defence.”
Our correspondent gathered that Baruwa, who was in custody, would be charged to court on Thursday (today).
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Patricia Amadin, confirmed the arrest.

She said, “The suspect claims to be a part-time lecturer, but not an employee of the University of Lagos.
“He has confessed to the crime and the medical result proved same.”

Naira gains N16, closes at N215/dollar

The naira appreciated, yesterday, against the US dollar in the parallel market, closing at N215 to a dollar.
This represents an appreciation of N16 from Tuesday when a dollar exchanged for N231 in Lagos and Kano, and N230 to a dollar in Abuja.
Informed sources told Vanguard that the development follows the decision of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN to interven in the foreign exchange market.
It was gathered that the CBN issued a circular to sell additional $30,000 to all licensed bureaux de change (BDCs) in the country on Friday, apart from the weekly sale of $30,000 that the apex bank normally makes to each BDC.
Earlier in the day, naira exchanged for as high as N235 to a dollar, but a parallel market source noted that the news of the CBN circular prompted various firms to hurriedly sell off the dollars in their possession leading to increase in supply of dollars to the market and thus crashing the exchange rate.
The hurried sale is in anticipation that the market would be flooded by dollars when the additional sale is made by the apex bank on Friday. The official exchange rate remains pegged by CBN at N197 to a dollar.
Vanguard investigations on Tuesday had revealed that the naira depreciation was as a result of panic buying of the dollar in the hope that it would further depreciate. Sources said that there was hoarding of foreign currency going on at the unofficial market.
They said the appreciation of the naira last week was temporary and that the exchange rate was most likely to return to its previous level.
The naira had last week appreciated by N35 fromN245 per dollar to N210, due to excess dollars in the market, occasioned by refusal of banks to allow foreign currency deposits into domiciliary accounts.
Banks reject foreign currencies deposit
Meanwhile, Vanguard gathered that commercial banks have started rejecting deposit of all other foreign currencies in addition to dollars.
It would be recalled that last week, banks stopped accepting dollars because they had too much cash in their vaults – reported to be in excess of $1 billion —in a desperate measure taken to mitigate currency risk.
Contrary to the reports that the excess was caused by CBN’s refusal to accept dollar deposit from banks in return for credit into their foreign accounts, Head of Foreign Exchange unit of a Tier 2 bank told Vanguard that the decision of the CBN was in response to the increasing volume of dollar deposit from banks for credit into their foreign accounts.
He said hitherto banks don’t take the dollars to the CBN but swap it among themselves. “Banks with surplus dollars exchange it for naira with banks with deficit. CBN was not involved.
But when the volume of dollars in the system became more than what the banks entirely needed, they started taking it to the CBN to swap it for credit into their foreign accounts.
But when the CBN observed an increasing trend in the volume of dollars banks were bringing for transfer, it decided to discontinue to the service.  So what the CBN did only aggravate it, but it was not the source of the problem.”

2 beheaded, 4 injured in renewed Anambra/Kogi oil wells crisis

TWO persons were beheaded at Eziagulu Otu, near the embattled Orient Petroleum Resources Ltd in Anambra East Local Government Area yesterday by armed men suspected to be from Ibaji in Kogi State, who allegedly attacked the people in their farms.
Four others, who sustained injuries have been admitted at a private hospital in Onitsha.
The attack came barely 24 hours after members of Board of Directors of Orient Petroleum informed Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, during a visit, that the company had acquired two new wells in Aguleri and would increase its crude oil production to 3,000 barrels per day in September.
Vanguard gathered that the attackers, who were armed to the teeth, took the farmers unawares and as many of them ran into the river, the attackers caught six of them, killing two and injuring four.
As the news of the attack reached the people of Aguleri in the upland, all those whose relations went to farm became worried. Shortly after, the victims were brought him.
At press time, it could not be ascertained if some people in the area were still missing.
SOS
One of the distress messages sent to Vanguardduring the attack read: “Information reaching our town indicates that Kogi people are attacking Eziagulu Otu and Enugu Otu in several groups and are about to overrun the area and the oil field facilities there.”
Another message from the President General of Aguleri read: “Eziagulu Otu is currently under siege by our Kogi neighbours.
“I am informed that serious fighting is going on and casualties have been recorded. We are at a disadvantage under their superior fire power. The situation is bad.”
Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hosea Karma, confirmed the incident, saying his men and the Kogi State Police Command had stepped in to stop further clash.

ISIS Militants executes 19 girls for refusing to have sex with fighters

ISIS fanatics have executed 19 women for refusing to have sex with its fighters, a Kurdish official has said.

He claimed the women were being held hostage in Islamic State's stronghold of Mosul, Iraq, which the terror group seized in June last year.

Meanwhile a UN envoy investigating Islamic State's vile sex trade has said 'girls get peddled like barrels of petrol' and one can be bought by six different men.

She also verified a disturbing ISIS document which suggested the extremists sell the Yazidi and Christian women and children they have abducted, with girls aged just one to nine-years-old fetching the most money.

ISIS stormed the Sinjar district in northern Iraq last year and captured hundreds of women belonging to the Yazidi community, who the Islamists view as heretics.

The sex slaves who somehow escaped Islamic State's clutches have told of how they were forced to marry fighters who physically and sexually abused them.

It is not known whether the 19 women executed - supposedly just a few days ago - were Yazidis or not.

They were put to death because they refused to 'participate in the practice of sexual jihad,' a spokesman for the Kurdish Democratic Party in Mosul told Iraqi News .

Said Mimousini also claimed issues around money and the distribution of women have caused a rift within ISIS's ranks.

In October, the terror group released a pamphlet which showed how much it charged for the purchase of its female captives.

Sometimes these fighters sell the girls back to their families for thousands of dollars of ransom.'

The shocking document described the women it abducted as 'items' and claimed a decrease in demand of 'women and cattle' affected 'Islamic State revenues as well as the funding of mujahideen in the battlefield'.

It then gives the prices of women and children by age, with one to nine-year-olds costing the most - around £110. The older the women, the lower the price.

Busta Rhymes has been arrested and charged with assault at A New York City gym.

Busta Rhymes has been charged with assault after an alleged fight at a New York City gym, according to reports.

CBS claims that the 43-year-old was arrested at the Steel Gym in the posh Chelsea area of the Big Apple at around 8.30pm on Wednesday.

The rapper, real name Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr. allegedly threw a container of Lean Body Protein drink at a gym worker, New York Daily News  reports.

Police were called to the scene and Busta Rhymes was arrested, but the victim apparently refused medical attention.
According to New York Daily News, the gym's employee was hit in the back of the head but did not sustain serious injuries.
The star was charged with assault in the second degree after his arrest and it is believed that he is still in jail.

The star's lawyer told TMZ that the allegations are 'a bunch of bull', adding: 'This is another attempt to take advantage of Busta's celebrity status.'

Murder Crime: A Man stabs his ex-girlfriend and Beats her grandmother to death.

A Pennsylvania man stabbed his ex-girlfriend and then beat her 72-year-old to death after getting upset that his ex-girlfriend wouldn't name their newborn son after him, according to police.

Cesar Mazza, 25, of Pittsburgh was ordered held without bail on Wednesday on 2 counts of criminal homicide and a charge of kidnapping his 11-week-old son. Court records didn't list an attorney for him.

Police found the bodies of the child's mother, 19-year-old Tionna Banks, and Banks' grandmother, Valorie Crumpton, at Crumpton's home May 7. Banks had failed to return to a group home for at-risk woman and girls after she was given a weekend pass to visit Crumpton.

Mazza's mother contacted Allegheny County's Office of Children Youth and Families on May 6, the day after he came to her home to drop off the baby, who was in foster care, according to the criminal complaint.

Mazza's mother couldn't reach her son or Banks. Another witness, whom police haven't named, became concerned because Mazza had been charged with threatening to kill Banks last year, the complaint said.

At the time of the women's deaths, Banks had a protection-from-abuse order against Mazza that required him to stay away from her. He was also awaiting trial on charges that he punched Banks, stomped on her abdomen and dragged her down steps in November.

"The dispute reportedly arose from Banks' unwillingness to name their unborn child after Mazza," police said in the complaint. Banks named the baby Vaughn, police said.

Police received a warrant for Mazza on May 8 after he had failed to appear to his May 6 trial on the assault charges. He was arrested on May 15 in Newark, New Jersey, and police filed the homicide charges late Tuesday.

Two other unnamed witnesses told police they saw blood on Mazza and the baby May 4, when Banks was due to return to the group home, according to the complaint.

Mazza had a small cut on his palm, but it was "unbandaged and did not seem in proportion with the large amount of blood on Mazza and the baby," one of those witnesses told police.

Mazza explained away the blood by claiming Banks tried to stab him because he forgot to bring her a pack of cigarettes when he was visiting and picked up their baby, the complaint said.

The other witness had seen Mazza leave Crumpton's house about four hours earlier with a cut on his hand and red liquid on his clothes. That witness assumed the red liquid was paint because that's how Mazza made a living, police said.

Shocking Crime : A Nigerian man kills his mother at her home in Texas

Mother of four, Hauwa Esther Kadima, 61, who was an accomplished professor of languages, and a published author, was bludgeoned to death at her home in Longview, Texas, on July 28th.

Her last child, 31 year old Daniel Kadima (left) has been arrested in connection with her death.

Police was called to her home on July 28th and found her beaten to death - a bloody chair was lying next to her body. Police believe it was the murder weapon.
She had fractures to her skull with laceration of the brain because of blunt impact to the head, according to autopsy findings. Daniel, who had called police to report a person lying dead in the apartment, was arrested the next day.

Daniel's ex-wife later told police about the years she suffered abuse in his hands and also detailed his history of mental illness. Daniel is in police custody while they investigate the murder.

The motive for the killing is not yet known. Dr. Kadima was a long-time professor of languages and mass communications at the University of Jos, Nigeria, where for many years she also served as a Head of Department. She was born in 1953 in the village of Bakin Kogi in the southern part of the State of Kaduna.

BABY ABANDONED ON DOORSTEP!

A new-born baby girl, swaddled in a blanket, was found abandoned on the doorstep of a Pietermaritzburg home early on Wednesday morning.
“Paramedics were called to the scene at Cottonwood Lane when the home owner found the child lying on his doorstep,” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.
The child was still lying on the steps of the Panorama Gardens home when paramedics arrived.
“Paramedics immediately assessed the child and found that she had suffered mild hypothermia, but was otherwise in a stable condition.
"The young patient was treated by advanced life support paramedics and transported to Northdale Hospital for further assessment and treatment,” Meiring said.
Medics rushed her to Northdale Hospital, where she was in a stable condition.
Another first responder, who could not be named, said that judging by how much the amniotic fluid had dried on the girl’s hair, she was only a couple of hours old.
The umbilical cord had been cut, but not clamped.
