A family source said that they woke up the next morning Thursday, January 14th to behold the lifeless body of Miracle with blood all over her nose, mouth and private part. It is believed that some cult members might have carried out the dastard act as investigations by the residents and family members later showed that the elder brother to the deceased was a cultist and has been in the custody of the Rivers state Special Anti-Robbery Squad since last December 2015 over cult related issues.
There are insinuations that her death may be connected to a revenge by a rival cult group. The Rivers Police Command has not made any statement regarding the incident.

A 9 year old girl simply identified as Miracle was allegedly raped to death by unidentified persons at the Elele Roundabout in Elele Community of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State on Wednesday January 13th. Photo above shows women in the community weeping over the incident.

For 10-year-old Aman Vishwakarma from Uttar Pradesh, India, his terrifying brush with death could be described as nothing less than a miracle. The youngster cheated death when he fell off 12ft off a roof and got impaled by a 4ft metal rod. The rod entered his body at the thigh and exited through the back. Incredibly, it missed all vital organs and only grazed his spine. The pics might be a bit graphic for some so viewer discretion advised as you continue...
Doctors worked for four hours to remove the rod without causing permanent damage. It had torn a major blood vessel, pierced his bowel and diaphram, grazed his spine and possibly ruptured his lungs - causing two litres of blood to build up in his abdomen.
Recalling his death-defying fall, Aman told of how he was laying mud onto the roof of his family home when the structure collapsed. He screamed in agony as he fell on the exposed spike which was fixed to a concrete block – as neighbours rushed to help him to the nearby Narayan Swaroop Hospital.
His mother Kamla Devi, 30, collapsed when she saw him lying on the ground with the spike protruding from his body.
Kamla said: 'They took me to the hospital to see my son. I had completely given up on his chances of survival. So I couldn't believe when the doctor told me he was alive.'
She added: 'It's a miracle. It's no exaggeration to compare the doctors with gods. If not gods, they are god-sent to us.'
It took a team of six hospital staff to remove the rod from the small boy without permanently damaging major blood vessels and organs.
Dr Rajeev Singh, the 'hero' surgeon who operated on Aman, said he believed before the operation that saving him was 'practically impossible'.
'His condition was very critical,' Dr Singh said. 'His blood pressure was zero. If the patient was not operated within hours of accident, he could collapsed.'
Aman, who now uses a colostomy bag, has not been able play his beloved cricket or go to school since the accident in October.
According to a British doctor, the boy had been 'millimetres' from death – and now faces a lifetime of medical complications.
Dr Arun Ghosh said: 'I think it's pure luck that he survived.
'Obviously the doctor's did an excellent job but most of the time, when people are impaled, they will die instantly or soon after from bleeding. It would have taken major and complex surgery to save him. You'd have needed a vascular surgeon, a respiratory surgeon, a neurosurgeon, and they would have to be at the top of their game.
'I'm not sure we would be able to get such a major trauma team together on such short notice.
'The spinal damage could mean he suffers from erectile dysfunction, pins and needles in his hands and feet, a lack of coordination and possibly even loss of bladder function.
'Spinal damage - very close to the areas to the top of his spine - could cause feeling, erectile dysfunction, again bladder function, pins and needles in the hands and feet, lack of coordination.
'Because it entered near his anus, he's definitely not going to be able to go to the toilet normally for a very long time, and he'll probably need a colostomy bag to pee.
'Walking is going to be a problem in the short term and because of his damage lungs, he never going to be able to run a marathon.

Couple caught kissing & having sex at Road1 gate of OAU (photo)
A couple (a young couple comprising a male and a female) was seen engaging in a brazen, no-clothes sex at the security post of the Road 1 gate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. They were seen at a vantage spot, where the roads meet, engaging in the act without regard to the timing and people, increasingly gathering. They allegedly rode on a bike through the gate, alighting at the security post premises.
They immediately got undressed to the last piece (if you know what that means), placed their phones on the ground and started the sexcrobatics, which an eye-witness claimed was more of a scene out of an amateur pornography movie. While people gathered, they continued. They were futile, the initial efforts to extricate them. Call it rape, I'll disagree. Call it 'by consent', I'll be indifferent. Call it hypnosis of any act, I'll most likely agree because as much as the man's tool was being forcefully extricated, the lady seemed to be drawing towards the man like she would pass out if deprived of that act at that time and under such circumstances. An anonymous source said the lady sells footwears in Ile-Ife. Whatever the cause of this, it leaves more questions unanswered, which hopefully should get resolved once the police vehicle seen blasting siren as it drove to the scene was conveying policemen who were actually policemen.

Guardian burns boys body with hot iron
Mama Sarah, a trader and a cleaner with Nigerian Naval Dockyard, Lagos, has been accused of maltreating a boy in her custody, Michael Maduagu, 12, a primary one pupil at Bonny Camp Primary School, who was brought from Anambra State when he was barely 5.
Mama Sarah allegedly beat up Michael, last Sunday, placed a hot iron on his leg and made incisions on his body with a blade. Her fellow traders at Bar Beach Bus Stop, Victoria Island, yesterday accused her of inhuman treatment of Michael, urging government to prosecute her.
Musbau Agbodemu, Executive Director of Rural and Urban Development Initiative, said the matter was first reported to him on Tuesday, adding that the Ministry of Woman Affairs and Poverty Alleviation officials have intervened in the matter and Michael is now in their custody.
A resident of Mama Sarah's street, Destiny Francis, said: 3 of her own children left her when her trouble was too much. It is just her last born that lives with her and that one is something else. She sometimes beat her mother. I want justice to prevail.

This patient filmed himself raping a female employee in a hospital toilet has been jailed for 12 years. Liam McCarthy, 25, ‘grinned’ as he strangled the victim and forced her to the floor in a 50-minute attack at Birmingham City Hospital.
He dropped his wallet before fleeing the scene and was arrested when he later returned to the hospital to try and retrieve it.
McCarthy, from West Bromwich, West Midlands, was jailed for 12 years at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday after he pleaded guilty to rape and assault. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
The patient, who had been in the hospital waiting area earlier that day, filmed a 35-second clip of the attack on his mobile phone which was later discovered by police. Prosecutor Hugh O’Brien-Queen told the court McCarthy gripped the woman’s neck with both hands and squeezed so she could hardly breathe.
The victim raised the alarm after realising that McCarthy had dropped his wallet before fleeing the scene. He was arrested when he returned to the hospital to try and collect his missing wallet.
'I want them to rot in jail'- Father of Brooklyn gang rape victim speaks out
The 39-year-old father and his teenage daughter told police they were drinking beer at the Osborn Playground in Brownsville last Thursday night when they were accosted by the five youths, between the ages of 14 and 17, who then proceeded to rape the 18-year-old after threatening the father with a gun.
Following the teens' arrests earlier this week, however, two of the boys offered a different version of events, insisting that they had consensual sex with the 18-year-old.
They also claimed to have witnessed the young woman having sex with her father in the park before the man staggered away from the scene, leaving his daughter alone with the teens.
'They're just trying to get out of the thing they did,' the unnamed father told the New York Post Thursday on his way to a deli to buy beer. 'I want them to rot in jail.'
Meanwhile, it merged yesterday afternoon that all five of the five suspects - Onandi Brown and Travis Beckford, both 17, Denzel Murray, 14, Shaquelle Cooper and Ethan Phillip, both 15 – will be released from jail later Thursday.
All five teens have been charged as adults with rape, criminal sex act, sexual abuse and other charges. They deny the allegations.
At a press conference today, NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton talked about a video that has been retrieved from the cellphone of one of the teenage suspects, calling it a 'significant piece of evidence.'
Bratton did not specify what was in the video, only saying that it was 'nine to 11 seconds' long.
The commissioner then added cryptically: 'The first story is never the last story. I think in this case that's certainly the case or will prove to be the case.'
On Wednesday, attorney Spencer Leeds, who represents Onandi Brown, dismissed the alleged victim's allegations as a total lie, claiming that the girl and her father failed to pick any of the first four suspects from a police lineup.p
