DISCOVERY : SECURITY GUARD'S WIFE MISTAKEN FOR MILLIONARE'S WIFE , KIDNAPPED IN LAGOS ......

Hello beautiful people ,

Security Guard's Wife Mistaken For Millionaire's Wife, Kidnapped In Lagos.

Zara Mohammed, 27, a full-time house wife and a nursing mother , left her home at Dolphin Estate, dressed gracefully to attend her friend’s baby naming ceremony at Ijeh barracks.

What she didn't know that day was that she would be mistaken for a millionaire’s wife and kidnapped on her way back home by a woman who offered her a ride at the entrance to her Estate.

The victim, who relocated to Lagos after she got married to her husband in Maiduguri in 2010, had two children including a six-month-old baby before she was kidnapped.

Narrating his wife’s ordeal after her release, Mr. Mohammed, told Crime Guard that on April 25, 2015, at about 2pm, she left their house located at Corporation drive, 189b, Dolphin Estate, to attend a friend’s child naming ceremony at Ijeh barracks.

According to him, that was the last time he heard from her. “After waiting till 10pm, and she didn’t return, I called her line but it was switched off. I went to the venue of the naming ceremony.“

Unfortunately, it was dark and I could not locate the place. The next morning, I went back and was able to locate the house of the celebrant. Surprisingly, my wife’s friend, the host of the ceremony, told me that she attended the ceremony but left almost immediately after giving her baby a gift.

She, however, took me to some other friends’ houses to see if my wife had passed the night there but, it was an exercise in futility as none of them had any clue about her whereabouts. At last, I went to Dolphin Estate Divisional Police station to report that my wife was missing.

“The following day, I received a call from a number that claimed they had kidnapped her and requested that I should bring N10 million ransom to Allen bus stop at Ikeja, Lagos.

I told them that I wanted to speak with my wife to be sure that they actually kidnapped her. It was then I asked her how she got kidnapped. She said it was when she was returning from the naming ceremony that she was kidnapped .

While she was still talking with me, the line went off. I tried severally to call back but it was switched off.“When I realised that it was a kidnap case, I notified the police who transferred the case to the State Criminal Investigations Department, Panti,Yaba, Lagos, for further investigation.

On April 27, 2015, the kidnappers called me with my wife’s number and I told them I won’t be able to raise that amount because I am a security man in Dolphin Estate with a monthly salary of N20,000. Immediately, the phone went dead.“

Few days later, I was shocked to see her in our house in Lagos. It was then that she narrated what actually happened to me.”

This is her story. ” I was on my way back to the house and when I got to the entrance of the estate, a woman driving a red Gulf car stopped and asked if I was going into the estate and I said yes. She then offered to give me and two other men who were also at the entrance, a ride.

I accepted the gesture and boarded the vehicle because the driver was a fellow woman and I didn’t suspect any danger because she looked so innocent and harmless little knowing that the two men were her partners in crime.

“As soon as we boarded the car, one of the men used a white handkerchief to cover my face and then I became unconscious.

When I regained consciousness, I found myself in a room with my hands and legs tied. Inside the room I met a woman who alleged she was abducted with her daughter.

She complained that since they kidnapped them, she hasn’t seen her daughter. Two days later, they took her away and I was left alone in the room. The next day, they called my husband and requested for N10 million ransom.

After they finished talking with my husband, they gave me the phone to speak with him. I was still explaining to him in our dialect what happened when they took the phone from me and switched it off.

The next day, they called him with my phone but they didn’t allow me to speak with him. While there, I was given a plate of rice to eat and pure water to drink.

A week later, I was dumped in a farm after they realised that my husband, a mere security man, could not pay the amount they demanded.

I couldn’t move because of my tied legs. All I could do was to cry and shout to alert anyone nearby. I was in the bush crying when a Good Samaritan heard my voice and came to my rescue.

He asked me what happened and why my hands and legs were tied. I told him that some people kidnapped me on my way to Dolphin Estate and he asked, Dolphin Estate in Lagos? I said yes. It was then he told me that I was in Lokoja, Kogi State and not Lagos.

That was when I realised how far away I was from Lagos. He untied me and then took me to the nearest motor park where I would board a vehicle to Lagos.

He paid N2000 to the driver as my transportation fare and explained to the driver and other park officials what had happened to me.”

The traumatized husband said, “I thank God for rescuing my wife from the hands of kidnappers. But, the problem right now is that since her release, she behaves abnormally.

I don’t know what her abductors did to her. She acts funny and very different from herself. I have concluded plans to take her to my home town in Borno State for proper medical treatment,”he stated.

SAD STORYLINE : THE DEATH OF A WAREHOUSE DRIVER TRYING TO MAKE PEACE BETWEEN TWO OTHERS FIGHTING.......

Hello guys ,

Fighter Pushes Peacemaker Into Path Of Speeding Truck

Tragedy struck on Limca Road in the Iyana Isolo area of Lagos State on Thursday after a speeding truck crushed a warehouse driver to death.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the driver, identified as Rafiu Baale, was pushed into the path of the truck by a tricycle driver, Imeh Matthew, during an affray. Our correspondent learnt that Imeh and his brother were in the tricycle when a car driver bashed it.

They were said to have stopped in front of the warehouse, where the incident happened, to challenge the car owner. The action created gridlock, forcing the manager of the warehouse to intervene.

He asked the warring parties to vacate the company’s gate area. Our correspondent was told that the deceased, who was a driver with the company, also came out and joined in the call for calm.

However, as the affray and the peace making continued, the tricycle driver was alleged to have pushed Baale to the road and he was crushed to death by a speeding truck.

The matter was said to have been reported at the Answani Police Station, and the truck driver, Aliu Salisu, and the tricycle driver, Imeh, were arrested.

Twenty-five-year old Imeh told PUNCH Metro that he acted in self-defence and had no intention of killing the victim.

He said on the day of the incident, he had parked his tricycle at a junction to eat, adding that it was while returning in his younger brother’s tricycle that the incident happened.

He said, “I am a tricycle driver and I ply Iyana Isolo to Jakande Estate route every day.

I have been driving for the past five years.“On Thursday, last week, I was in my brother’s tricycle when a car hit us.“I came down with my brother to challenge the man.“

It was while doing this that the manager of the company emerged from somewhere and asked why we were making a noise.“I was about explaining to him when he slapped me. I wanted to talk and he slapped me again.“

He said we should leave the place. Then the driver of the car that bashed us also started struggling with me.“They all came out from the company and were holding and pulling me.

It was when I wanted to defend myself that I mistakenly pushed the man.”It was learnt that the truck driver crushed the victim and unknowingly dragged him on the road.Salisu, 29, said it was his conductor that called his attention to the incident.

He said, “I am a school dropout. I have been driving for the past seven years. I have a driving licence, which expired in December, 2014.“On that day, I was going to Auchi with some goods.

“When I got to Aye bus stop on Iyana Isolo Road, a policewoman ordered me to stop and I did.“When she cleared me to go, I also obeyed. My eyes were on her.

I did not know they were fighting around that area.“It was after I had moved that my conductor started shouting that I should stop. That was when I knew what had happened.

”Our correspondent learnt that the victim did not die on the spot.He was said to have been rushed to a hospital, but died on the way. He was confirmed dead in the hospital.

The uncle of the suspect, Emmanuel Udoh, urged the police to thoroughly investigate the matter, saying he believed his cousin was not to blame for the victim’s death.

Udoh said Imeh was overwhelmed by the crowd that surrounded him and it was in a bid to free himself that Baale died.He said, “I believe the police can do a good job in this case.

“All those who witnessed the incident testified to the fact that the security guards around that place and some other people there confused him.

“It was during that confusion that the man was crushed to death.”He described Imeh as a hard working man, who had no criminal record before he was brought to Lagos from the village in Cross River.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, said the matter had been transfered to the Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.

MOHAMMED MORSI THE FORMER PRESIDENT OF EGYPT SENTENCED TO DEATH ........

Hello guys ,

Egypt's former president Mohammed Morsi sentenced to death

An Eyptian court today sentenced former Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi to death over a mass prison break in 2011, weeks after he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for ordering the arrest and torture of protesters during his time in power.

Morsi was removed as president y the military in July 2013 following mass street protests against his rule. Since then, the authorities have banned his Muslim Brotherhood movement and arrested thousands of his supporters.

All death sentences must first be sent to the Grand Mufti, Egypt's highest religious authority, for his opinion on whether they should stand.

Convictions are still open to appeal, even if the Grand Mufti gives his approval. Morsi's supporters have said that the cases against him are politically motivated and attempts to give legal cover to a coup, while Morsi has rejected the authority of the courts.

Morsi was Egypt's first freely elected president, but protests began building less than a year into his rule when he issued a decree granting himself far-reaching powers.

A PASTOR- HUSBAND , WIFE LOSES TWO MONTH OLD PREGNANCY AFTER RAPE .....

Hello guys ,

Wife Loses Pregnancy Of Two Months After Rape By Pastor-husband.

On May 15My husband raped me and I had to lose a two-month old pregnancy in the process. I want the dissolution of my two-year-old marriage,” a-38-year-old wife of a pastor had told a Lagos Island Customary Court .

The petitioner, Mary Iyayi, a make-up artist, who lives at 49, Oke-Olu St., Iponri, a suburb of Lagos, confessed this development to the court.

She alleged thus, “My pastor-husband held my hands to the wall, so I could not move. I told him that I was pregnant but he did not listen, until he forcefully made love to me.“

After it, I started bleeding and I lost the pregnancy. He told me later that he had just helped me to flush out the pregnancy.

’’Mary said that she had three abortions for pastor during their courtship in order to save his ministry from crumbling.“It was after we had been married that I knew that he married me because of my money and not that he truly loves for me.

“He once told me that he preferred a woman with big bosoms which I do not have,” she said.Mary told the court that her husband was fond of beating her at any slight provocation and that act had led her to have two miscarriages.“

While he was beating me, he also pushed me and I hit my stomach against the wall, and I lost a pregnancy in the process.’’She also told the court that before she packed out of her matrimonial home in June, last year , her husband had stopped sleeping in the same room with her.

“Due to the three abortions and two miscarriages I suffered, I was told at the hospital that my womb had been tampered with and that it would take divine intervention for me to be pregnant again.

“Also, my husband threatened to kill me if I should leave him, saying it is against the law of his church.

He said that their church law forbids its members from marrying another wife if the former wife was still alive.“I packed all my belongings from his house except my wedding gown which he seized.

I want the court to help me collect it from him and dissolve the union.“I am making this appeal because I am the only child of my parents and I do not want to die prematurely and mysteriously,” she said.

Mary also told the court that she bought almost all the items including the two cell phones her husband was currently using.

While responding, the husband, Pastor Samuel Iyayi, 35, who lives at the Assembly of God Church, Alpha Beach, Lekki, Lagos State, told the court that he did not rape his wife.“

It is true we had sex and she lost some blood in the process, but I did not rape her.“She also left home in April 2014 for one and a-half months only to return after some of our church members had intervened on her behalf.

Iyayi, however, speaking on the wedding gown said, “I had sold the wedding gown when my father was sick and I could not raise money to offset his hospital bills.

He said that he was still in love with his wife and was ready to have her back if she was still in love with him.

The President, Chief Awos Awosola, ordered the man to produce the wedding gown in court on June 1, the next adjourned date and told the couple to maintain peace. He adjourned the case to June 1 for further hearing.

The injunctions granted are as follows:

PIPELINE SURVEILLANCE : BUHARI TO REVOKE JONATHAN 'S CONTARACT TO OPC , EX- MILITANT....

Hello guys ,

Pipeline Surveillance: Buhari To Revoke Jonathan’s Contracts To OPC, Ex-militant

By Levinus Nwabughiogu, AbujaAnyone who thinks that the administration of the incoming president, General Mohammadu Buhari would tolerate the surveillance of oil pipelines and waterways by private individuals or groups should better think again as there are now plans to discard the practice and revert to the use of conventional security agencies.

Saturday Vanguard’s investigations during the week indicated that already some highly placed persons in Buhari’s camp with military and security backgrounds have begun to fashion out ways that would facilitate the process.

It was gathered that the man behind the process was a Director in the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Organisation.

His briefs included to liaise with experts in the sector and other people with rich legal background to work out the template for the new surveillance policy. When this is completed, the incoming administration, we gathered, would further equip the Nigerian Armed Forces, especially the Army and Navy, as well as the police and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC and hand them over the job of protecting the oil pipelines and other installations both onshore and offshore.

The implication of this however, is that Buhari’s government would stop the contract with some former Niger-Delta militants or groups like the Odua People’s Congress, OPC in the South-west region which the Jonathan administration had awarded such contracts. The contracts to ex-militants to police Nigeria’s waterways runs into billions of naira, the money, experts say should have been invested in the Navy to perform the role.

In the build up to the last general elections in the country, the media was awash with reports that the outgoing president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan awarded a surveillance contract estimated at about N9 billion to the OPC.

OPC leader, Gani Adams severally thanked President Jonathan for the contract.Buhari had Wednesday, during his meeting with Rivers State chieftains of APC in Abuja warned that his government will not tolerate”an army within the army or a police within the police” in the country.

He had also, at a forum in Abuja, told Nigerians that he would upon assumption of office reopen the books of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC for proper auditing in a bid to ensure transparency in the oil sector of the economy.

Speaking in exclusive interview with Vanguard, a member of the Board of Trustees of APC, Chief Sam Nkire said that Buhari would have to tinker with the contracts if they were not properly awarded.

According to Nkire, the outgoing government of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, had a lot of underhand deals with some groups.“

Well, once a government has been swept away, it ceases to exist. The new government takes charge and whatever it decides to do, becomes the law.

If the government or presidency of Buhari thinks those contracts were not properly given out or were not given to qualified people, of course, the government will cancel those contracts.

“And from what I know of the incoming president, he will not waste a day to cancel those contracts because these are the reasons why Nigerians rejected the PDP government. Because, they did things that should not be done. They did things without recourse to the law.

“They did things with impunity and knowing Buhari as a man who abhors impunity; a man we can say is one of the incorruptible persons, I will be surprised if he does not revoke contracts that were wrongly awarded if he sees them”, Nkire said.

Other areas the incoming Buhari’s regime would look into according to Saturday Vanguard’s investigations include the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, an agency responsible for the regulation of the activities of Nigerian shipping, maritime, labour and coastal waters and the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS.

Sources who spoke to Saturday Vanguard said that the two agencies stink with corruption and financial improprieties.“

Two other agencies Buhari must look into are NIMASA and FIRS. Stories of corruption in those organizations cannot be ignored.

For the incoming president to be taken seriously in his pledge to fight and win the war against corruption, he must sanitize these places. They stink,” a reliable APC source added.

ETCETERA SAYS ' BUHARI SHOULD NOT BE SWORN IN WITH THE QURAN.........

Hello guys,

Buhari Should Not be Sworn in with the Quran - Etcetera Writes

Check out this write up by Etcetera.A lot of Nigerians do not know that Nigeria is a secular state and they are also not aware that the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria does not require that Buhari take his oath of office by swearing with the Quran.

The drafters of the constitution made it crystal clear that any Nigerian of any faith or no faith can hold any office.

It would have been very easy for the constitution drafters to include it in our constitution that the president should be sworn in with the Quran. But they didn’t.

In other words, placing a hand on a Quran while reciting the presidential oath is simply a tradition that is not backed by the constitution. Meaning, it is absolutely unnecessary.

On Friday May 29, the Constitution requires that Buhari gives this oath of office: “I, Muhammadu Buhari, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and will to the best of my ability preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution.” So, why should Buhari swear with a Quran?

Why shouldn’t he place his hand on the Nigerian Constitution- the very document he’s promising to “preserve, protect and defend?”

There’s is a gargantuan barrier between religion and state and Buhari should demonstrate that he recognises this fact by taking his oath of office with his hand on the constitution instead of the Quran.

His loyalty should be to the nation’s laws above all else. A lot of people will argue that Buhari swearing with the Quran ensures that he adheres to his oath.

But let’s be truthful to ourselves: We have seen elected officials swear to uphold the laws of our country with their hands on the Quran and go on to steal billions of naira and break laws like crazy.

It all comes down to the individual’s moral code, not a few seconds oath. My objection is not only against the Quran.

I would hold the same view if it were the Bible, the Book of Mormon or any other religious scripture. The drafters of the constitution made it clear that the Nigerian Constitution, “shall be the supreme law of the land.

” It is the living legacy they bestowed upon us. It is the framework for our government. And as such, that’s the document our president should place his hand on. It should be clear to us on May 29 that the president views the Constitution as our nation’s alpha and omega.

As a matter of fact, your religion doesn’t matter when you are taking a position in office because religion has nothing to do with running a country. I personally think that being sworn in with any kind of religious testament is a waste of time and useless.

A lot of people in the out-going government were sworn in with the Bible but did they deliver any of the things they promised the country? To some people, it doesn’t matter whether the president-elect is sworn in with the Quran.

They’re probably used to seeing it happen. We just take it for granted that it is the way things have always been done, but it doesn’t necessarily make it right. In my opinion, any elected leader in any secular country like ours is voted in to represent everyone in that country.

So why not swear with a document that means something to everyone, such as the constitution? Wouldn’t that make more sense, instead of swearing with a religious document that only represents a chunk of the population?

Imagine if a Juju priest was elected President, would it be okay for him to be sworn in with ‘sango, orunmila or amadioha’ or some other work written about atheism? Would it be okay for an ogboni president to be sworn in with the ogboni book of sacred covenant?

I am a Catholic and I believe completely in not swearing with the Bible because there are multiple religions in the country and swearing with a Bible will not cause the sacred binding to the truth if the person swearing does not share a religion with the Bible.

The Bible does not have the same meaning to every person. So it shouldn’t be counted as a true binding document.

Finally, we shouldn’t also forget that oath taking of any kind is absolutely forbidden by the Bible:“But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.

And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.” – Matthew 5:34-37

THE REALITY STAR ,CHRISTINA MILIAN LOOKS SO SEXY IN HER BLUE ,PINK AND YELLOW PYTHON STRING HOT BIKINI........

Hello guys ,

They do not call her Tina Turn Up for nothing.Christina Milian was certainly turning up the heat on an already hot beach day in Miami, Florida, on Friday.

The 33-year-old may have been short on friends for her day in the sun but she certainly was not short on sexiness.

For her day in the sun, the reality star wore a blue, pink and yellow python print string bikini The Deep it Low singer initially kept her bikini body under wraps when she first arrived at her fabulous cabana wearing a pale pink tight dress.

But of course, it is always steamy in Miami, so before long she rolled up the dress - which is from label We Are Pop Culture - so that it was more of a top.

But even that was not enough to cool down the AM To PM songstress, so she took to the water solo.

Nice change: Just a few days ago the reality television star was having to mundane tasks like pumping gas in Studio City, California.

Mercury rising: Looking almost like she was in the middle of a magazine shoot, Christina stripped off the dress which no doubt got a few pulses racing on the sand
