DISCOVERY: SEX CLEAR ACNE ? ALSO THE BENEFITS. ......... TO ..........

Hello guys,

Can Sex Help Treat Acne? The Skin Health Benefits of Sex

Dr. Agnes P. OlszewskiIs this one of the most unbelievable things you've ever heard? Well my friends. Believe it.

The answer may surprise you, but YES - a healthy sex life has many health benefits including improving your skin and actually helping in some instances to fight acne.

Acne is a manifestation of an internal imbalance that most often is routed in a hormonal imbalance, specifically in the imbalance of sex hormones (androgens/testosterone, estrogen and progesterone).

Sex balances your hormone levels, which may help in keeping your skin clearer.

Having sex improves blood circulation, which helps to deliver oxygen to your skin. In addition to adding a healthy glow and keeping skin supple, nourished and looking young, sex will also help to eliminate toxins.

Having sex once or twice a week increases levels of an antibody called immunoglobin, and as a result, has a positive impact on your immune system which may help in fighting inflammation and infection caused by acne bacteria nesting in your clogged pores.

Sexual activities are obviously physical, so when performed with motivation and passion, take a good shower afterward to wash off all of that sweat - you give your skin a mini skin facial and your clogged pores a needed reprieve.

Sex boosts natural collagen production, so it may help not only in keeping wrinkles at bay, but also in smoothing acne scars and marks (collagen is a building block of skin).

Sex will replace sweets, and keep your weight more in control. Sugar and carbs aren't good for your skin, especially if you have acne, and there is a clear connection between the health of your digestive system and the health of your skin.

So keeping away from harmful foods will help to keep your skin clearer.Sex will also boost the production of a "happy hormone" calledserotonin, which is responsible for making you feel younger, happier and more desirable socially.

These positive feelings will encourage you to take care yourself, including committing to a healthier skincare regimen.

So as you work on strengthening your relationship with this very special person in your life, remember that as far fetched as it may sound, you really are helping your skin to stay healthy, sexy and acne free! With a promise of clear skin.

More  On Does Sex Really Clear Skin?

It’s nothing worse than post-puberty acne. In an age where serving good face is everything, rampant pimples and blackheads can be embarrassing for grown women. It’s even more damaging when some of us pile on the makeup in efforts of disguising the obvious.

The skin care market is exploding with in demand products like ProActiv, Neutrogena and Clean and Clear promising to relieve infected skin.

With the rise of the organic movement, vulnerable acne victims will believe just about anything. One of the most popular myths on ridding acne, next to the use of baby urine (yuck!) is having sex.

The legend suggests the more sex you have, the more clearer your skin will be. Ever heard of it? Well, if the rumor is true, it would certainly save America loads of cash, and men would be grateful forever! But is it really true?

Can having sex really clear skin?We caught up with Dr. Wendy Roberts, an African American board certified Dermatologist in California.

When we asked Dr. Roberts if sex clears skin she let out a hearty laugh. “There is no scientific evidence to support sex clearing acne.”Sorry to disappoint some of you, but if your hoping for the slightest beauty benefits of sex there is hope.

Dr. Roberts, President of Women’s Dermatologist Society says, “Sex increases circulation which can give you that rosy glow. Any kind of increased circulation to the skin will give a glow, but that’s about it.”

Dr. Roberts continues, “When the adrenaline is increased things can happen, so there is a hormonal affect on acne.

These are the possible physiological things that can occur, because skin is the window to our bodies.”Well, there it is ladies.  Sex won’t zap your pimple, but it can give you that Jada Pinkett-Smith glow. Which ain’t too shabby.

If your suffering from lasting acne, take it from Dr. Roberts, skin tells us what’s happening on the inside, so look to your diet, not the bed.Dr. Wendy Roberts and “The Roberts Skin Type Classification System©” inspired her recent appetite.

Sex & Acne: Three Real Reasons Why Making Love Helps You Have Clearer Skin

For clear, healthy skin, it may be time to take a step back from the vanity and make a move to the bedroom. Research shows that a good roll in the hay can go a long way in giving skin a needed boost. While a solid acne treatment plan can't be reduced to regular romps, the condition of our skin is indeed a reflection of our body’s overall health: long-term skincare requires attention to diet, hydration, physical exercise, and sexual health."

An orgasm is one of the healthiest things you can give yourself each day," says Dr. Gloria G. Bramer, a Georgia-based certified clinical sexologist. "From a sexologist's point of view it should be included in your routine along with brushing your teeth and washing your hair."

1. Sex Balances Hormone Levels

While acne is not the result of a single factor, a common culprit is an imbalance hormones like androgen, testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone, which may play a role in your skin’s overall health.Doing the deed releases endorphins, too.

These neurotransmitters produced by the brain reduce pain and give you a natural sense of well-being and happiness.

Beyond making you feel good, these naturally occurring chemicals also promote growth of the epithelial cells that aid in the production of new skin cells and boost the growth of natural collagen.More collagen helps keep wrinkles at bay and can also smooth acne scars, said Dr. Wechsler. "

When you have sex, you're bathing the skin in anti-inflammatory molecules such as oxytocin and beta endorphins. As we get older, we don't heal as often as we repair. But having sex can turn the clock back on that.

" Sex also boosts the production of serotonin, the happy hormone that gifts you with a burst of positive feelings to make you feel better, more balanced, and the encouragement to be healthier human.

As all of these hormonal factors are reset, they also help you feel better about stress and anxiety, which factors in acne flare-ups. In other words, an orgasm is a genius way to relax. An afternoon spent in bed with someone special (or perhaps solo) can melt the weight of the world off your shoulders—and your skin.

2. Getting Sweaty Regulates Oil & Open Pores

Since the skin's oil product is a factor in acne, keeping acne-prone skin properly hydrated can be challenge.

But because sex hormones impact the amount of oil our pores produce, regular romps can help bring balance to the surface and prevent dry skin.Sweaty sex also opens up pores so we can clear away dirt, grime, and any residual makeup.

Take your excited pores into the shower and wash away the impurities—consider it a free facial. Follow up with moisturizer.

3. Get It On to Make Skin Glow

Sex also wakes your senses and increases blood circulation, helping to deliver oxygen to your pores for a face full of luminous, rosy radiance. Sex has even been coined “the fountain of youth”—a British study found that those with an active love life looked up to seven years younger than their actual age.

Remember, Be Smart & Safe

All this said, don’t hop in bed with someone for the sake of preventing a breakout.

Sexologist Dr. Jill McDevitt echoes this belief, noting, “When people make a decision to have sex, they don't say, 'I really want to boost my immune system and increase my immunoglobulin A antibodies' or 'I want to increase the elasticity of the skin on my face, so let's have sex.' People have sex because it feels good, they enjoy it, they like feeling close to someone.

” If you do engage in sexual activity, be sure to choose a considerate partner who will show respect for you and any boundaries you may have. Also avoid any behavior that can result in an unwanted pregnancy or transmit sexually transmitted diseases. Rachel Duran is an editor at Arithmetic.
