The desperation of some Nigerians in seekingpolitical power, fame and money at all cost isbecoming appalling and worrisome.
I just stumbled on this on the social media onone Mr. Henri Obiazi’s facebook page where healleged that this woman identified as Hon.Munirat Adedoyin, a former Vice Chairman ofIkorodu Local Government in Lagos, who isalso said vying for the Chairmanship positionof the same Local Government was allegedlycaught recently in the act of attempting to use a child for ritual.
According to the post by Mr. Henry Obiazi,“Mrs.Munirat Adedoyin. She is the formerDeputy Chairman of Ikorodu local GovernmentArea.
She is about to contest for the positionof the Chairman of the local government. Shewas caught in the act by some good‘samaritans’ and the information and the photographs were passed to securityagencies.”
Obiazi further commented on the post; “Effortsmade so far to apprehend this extremelywicked woman are being frustrated by a Highcourt judge in Ikorodu who granted an exparteorder restraining the police from arresting thewoman pending the determination of themotion on notice for the enforcement of herfundamental rights.”“
The woman have abandoned her house andonly her lawyer knows her whereabouts. Thosepix. must have been taken secretly. I am alsoas curious as anybody else.”
She has not been charged. In the process oftrying to arrest her, she filed an application forthe enforcement of her fundamental rights.”“However, the police filed its response andannexed some exhibits including thephotographs.
The application was filed lastyear October, and in March this year ratherthan the court taking the main motion, it tookthe ex-parte motion and granted all the reliefsprayed. The exparte order expires after 14 daysaccording to high court civil procedure rules.”
“Efforts are still in progress to arrest thiswicked and crooked woman. She is trying toconcealed her dagger beneath the rope of thejurist and benefit from her wrongs.”Mr. Obiazi commented.
