A Mucheke woman in Masvingo has left the community shaken after it emerged that she was allegedly in the habit of abusing kids between the ages of two and 15 who she dished her VAG!NA to them and instructed them to lick her private parts. To the more senior ones, the seemingly sex starved married woman would offer them unlimited sex while the rest watched.
Five boys have so far been identified and one of them who is mentally challenged (Down Syndrome) is aged 15 years. The others are aged 15 years, four-and-half, four years and two-and-half years respectively.
The woman, Gladys Gumbiti (35) was arrested last week and is remanded in custody. The alleged victims are being tested for HIV and Aids following an order from the court.
Gumbiti pleaded not guilty and insisted that she only called the boys to her room once and did not abuse them. She dismissed the story as fabrication.
One boy aged three years allegedly showed curious understanding of sex and this has always worried his parents.
The case became known last week when the three-year-old reported to his parents that one of the 15-year-old boys was in Mai Kodza's (Gumbiti's popular name) bedroom and was not dressed.
The abuse allegedly went on for at least seven years. Gumbiti was arrested by ZRP Chikato on Wednesday last week. She appeared before Masvingo Magistrate Oliver Mudzongachiso who remanded her in custody to Thursday next week (November 5, 2015).
For the State, Shamiso Masokovere said on October 21, 2015 the accused who resides at Number 720 Mundondo Street, Mucheke A called two youngsters aged 15, two others aged four, and the other one aged two years and seven months.
The accused instructed one of the minors aged 15 to come into her bedroom, she removed her clothes, lied on her bed and had sexual intercourse with the minor in full view of the other minors.
The court heard that Gumbiti would sometimes make three four-year-old boys lick her private parts and thereafter would invite the mentally challenged boy to have sex with her.
There are fears that the Gumbiti may have infected the minors with HIV/AIDS. Hordes of people swarmed Chikato Police Station to see the accused woman when the story broke out on Wednesday.
Gumbiti is staying alone as her husband is said to be in South Africa. The boy who was found naked allegedly told the whole story after he was beaten by his parents.
