The whole ordeal started at school, when Belo Horizonte from Brazil suddenly came down with really bad stomach ache at school.
As her pain was becoming more and more severe, teaches rushed Belo to the hospital.
After doctors desperately tried to figure out what was wrong with her, they discovered that the little girl was actually pregnant.
The sad truth was that the little girl had actually been sexually abused by her stepfather and he was the cause of the accidental pregnancy.
It came to light that her mother knew about the abuse, but her psychotic husband had threatened to kill her if she ever told anybody.
As the girl was only 10 years old the risk of the pregnancy were very high. It was an extremely dangerous situation for the little girl and it was very unlikely that she would survive should she have the baby.
Girls who give birth before age 15 are 500% more likely to die during childbirth than mothers over the age of 20.
The stepfather confessed of raping the girl.
And was charged for sexual abuse and possession of illegal firearms.
