Gloria Oloruntobi posted the video yesterday to wish her mum a happy Mother's Day. She however incurred the wrath of Nigerians who felt the video was insulting. She was heavily criticized for posting the video which has since gone viral.

She later reacted to the criticisms by saying: "My mum and I so so so close , so don't judge me ....PS: Forgive me if you are not as close to your mother that's your problem, fix it , (this is my cup of tea and I drink all of it ) she is my mum not ours .... ( U wont believe how funny the comments are to my mom )"
