The police said that their investigations are yet to establish the truth of the matter.

"Yes, we have that report that a car was burnt down on Sunday but we have not confirmed if it is the man’s wife who did it," Mr Ringera told Nairobi News on phone.

A message that that has gone viral on social media claims that the wife pulled the stunt after getting wind that her randy husband had gone to spend the night at his lover’s house in Rongai after a night out. The couple who have two children together cannot be named for legal reasons.

The message that was sent out contained pictures of the man and his new catch having fun in an identified club. It also has pictures of the vehicle both before and after it was burnt down, as well as a screenshot of the couple’s Facebook update showing that they got engaged on October 27, 2013.

When it comes to going nude, they believe the girl is promiscuous forgetting this thing we do is a job that must be done. It is not different from a banker trying to make their customers happy. So many stars have been affected badly by this culture thing. 

Some wouldn’t even go on set to kiss, giving all sorts of reasons. People must understand that this is a make-believe job where you have to get into all sorts of characters to deliver a role and make people truly enjoy the movie like it is the real thing” she said mournfully..

The maiden edition of Miss Bikini Nigeria International beauty pageant held penultimate Saturday in Lagos amid roller-coasting  pomp and pageantry.

 The event which took place on Saturday October 10, 2015, at Terra Kulture, was hosted by ex-BBA housemate, Melvin  Oduah. It was organised by Nollywood actress, Seyi Hunter.

The beauty queens put up a great show, beginning with their choreographed session, to the time they strutted the runway in their bikinis.

‘Miss Kwa’, in the person of Blessing Williams emerged winner of the pageant, while Lolade Badmus emerged Miss Bikini Nigeria Ambassador and South-West Queen; Maryjane Balogun, Edith Hunter and Cynthia Chineme emerged North-Central, Niger-Delta and South-East Queens respectively..

The crowned queen of the bikini pageant, Blessing Williams, was presented with a brand new Kia Rio car and a cash prize of N1.5 million.

  She will also represent Nigeria at the World Bikini Model International competition in Malta, beginning from October 18-25, 20015.  The keenly contested pageant had reputable judges including, Miz Gold, Sentiago Roberts, Simon Peacemaker and Age Anthony.

The four regional winners were given a cash prize of N250,000 each. Kia Motors will be sponsoring three of the girls including the winner to Malta for the 27th edition of the World pageant.

The organiser of the pageant, Seyi Hunter, emphasized that the pageant was about doing the foreign bikini culture the African way using African prints. 

“It’s about injecting the African culture into an European or global culture. The bikini culture is European-born and we are injecting the African culture into it. 

We are trying to change this foreign culture that we have borrowed, to suit us. We are buying a foreign culture and doing it our way. We want to promote decency.

 The bikini culture is the beach culture all over the world, now we are injecting the African culture into it. We are taking away the amoral sides of it and making it look African. We want to change our orientation about bikinis.”

Miss Bikini Nigeria International is the first of its kind in Nigeria and was franchised to Hunters Media, a modeling and film production firm, by Catwalk Productions International, the international brand owners of World Bikini Model International, Malta..

Angelina Joilie is probably the only woman who 'can't wait to turn 50'

Angelina Jolie said she can’t wait to hit 50 and know she's "made it", after both her mother and grandmother were diagnosed with cancer in their forties and died from ovarian cancer.

The actress revealed in March that she had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed this year after learning she had a 50% increased risk of getting the cancer. Speaking to Vogue Magazine, she said:

"I feel grounded as a woman. Both of the women in my family, my mother and my grandmother started dying in their 40s. I’m 40. I can’t wait to hit 50 and know I made it."

On her decision to go public with her procedures, she said

“It really connected me to other women. I wish my mom had been able to make those choices." The procedures themselves were, she says, “brutal. It’s hard. "They are not easy surgeries. The ovaries are an easy surgery, but the hormone changes"—she laughs, nods her head—"interesting. We did joke that I had my Monday edit. Tuesday surgery. Wednesday go into menopause. Thursday come back to edit, a little funky with my steps."

A 35-year-old Nigerian man was arrested in Mokopane, SA, on October 15, for being in possession of crystal meth, rock and cocaine to the value of more than R200 000. The arrest followed info that was supplied by crime intelligence and members of the K9 unit. Provincila Col Ronel Otto said the police also confiscated a laptop, three cell phones and cash from the Nigerian.

The man will appear in the Mokorong Magistrates’ Court soon, said Otto.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Rahamon Bello, has said, the institution cannot punish Dr. Afeez Baruwa, a lecturer standing trial for rape, because he is not an employee of the institution.

Baruwa allegedly raped an 18-year-old female admission seeker into the University. Bello at a news briefing on Monday, said also noted that there was no relationship between the institution and the alleged victim.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, the only formal relationship the institution had with Baruwa was when he undertook his undergraduate and MSc programs in Marketing at the institution’s Distance Learning Institute. 

The VC however, admitted that Baruwa was engaged by the DLI for project supervision, but noted that the term of his contract did not include providing him an office facility, as he was supposed to go to the institute to collect documents to work with and leave. Bello argued that the university was unfortunately linked to the saga, adding that the accused could have carried out the act in any other place.

News News:Boko Haram Insurgents Kill 3 Soldiers, Abduct Senior Officer

Troops of the Nigerian Army, assisted by the local vigilantes in the early hours of yesterday at the border villages between Adamawa and Borno states, killed no fewer than 30 members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect.

According to a local vigilante operative who participated in the campaign, an ambush was laid for the insurgents, following intelligence report about their movement, which resulted in the killing of many of the terrorists.

The source added that many weapons including AK 47 assault rifles, bows and arrows and other dangerous weapons were confiscated from the invading terrorists. The onslaught against the insurgents followed increased attacks on parts of Madagali local government area, which led to the death of three soldiers and abduction of one senior military officer alongside his operational vehicle.

Photos: Woman arrested for trying to sell her baby on Gumtree for 5,000 rand

A woman who attempted to sell her 19-month-old baby boy in an online classified and community board website Gumtree, has appeared in court on charges of human trafficking.

She was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 15, at the KFC in Chief Albert Luthuli Road, in Pietermaritzburg after an undercover agent arranged to buy the baby from her, said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi, spokesman for the Hawks special crimes investigation unit.

Police were tipped off that that the 20-year-old woman was offering her son for 5,000 rand (£245) in a disguised post offering a baby car seat.

"Gumtree South Africa's customer service team was alerted that a young woman had placed an ad on the site advertising a child for sale," company spokeswoman Claire Cobbledick said in a statement. "The team immediately removed the ad and blocked the user's account. We escalated the issue to the corporate office that engages law enforcement on suspected criminal cases."

The woman, who initially denied being the child’s mother, appeared in court in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal province, on human trafficking charges, and her case was adjourned until October 26.

"We met her and there was an exchange of money with an undercover police officer," Hangwani Mulaudzi said. "She gave us the money and we arrested her directly." Police officer Mthokozisi Ngobese said he interviewed the mother, who explained why she wanted to sell her child.

"She said the father was not prepared to pay for the child anymore, so she wanted to get rid of the child," he said.

The child is said to be in good health and has since been taken into care by social workers.

This teenage girl pictured above was beaten to death by her own family after living under a 'regime of fear' in which she was forced to lick the toilet bowl and eat her own faces, a court has heard. 

Shahena Uddin, 19, who was one of eight siblings, was 'regularly punished' by her brothers and sisters, for 'crimes' such as eating at the wrong speed.

Punishments would allegedly include being force-fed rice and paper and being made to stand for long periods staring into a long periods staring into a toilet bowl. She was even banned from using the toilet at their home in Watford but would be punished further if she attempted to use the sink, St Albans Crown Court was told. 

But the violence is alleged to have plumbed new depths of depravity in October last year when she was found beaten to death on her bathroom floor after choking on her own vomit. 

The court heard how, when she was found the following day, the Bangladeshi teenager had endured 'several beatings' - including with weapons - and that both sides of her head had been severely attacked. 

Ambulance staff, who were called to the house by the family, were told she was sick and fainted. But by then, her four brothers, a sister and her two sisters-in-law had attempted to cover their tracks, the court was told. 

Prosecutor Simon Trimmer QC said blood and vomit stains had been covered up and that Shahena's bloodstained clothing had been put into bin bags outside. He said:

'Shahena died at the hands of members of her own family in her own home. She probably endured several beatings that night. 

'This was a troubled family unit held together by internal discipline of an extreme variety. She had been beaten with weapons during the previous 24 hours.' 

Suhail Uddin, 35, and his wife Salma Begum, 32 - who became the teenager's legal guardians in 2010 - are now standing trial, accused of Shahena's murder. Begum is also accused of causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable adult. 

They were charged alongside Shahena's three other brothers, Jewell, 27, Jhuhal, 33 and Tohel Uddin, 24, who all deny causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable adult.

Howard Curtis, 72, allegedly persuaded worshippers to undress for him in the office of Coulsdon Christian Fellowship, in Croydon, south London. 

The claims are believed to centre around a movement known as Christian Domestic Discipline, which involves men asserting authority over women through physical punishment, usually spanking.

Mr Curtis has been banned from unsupervised contact with children and forbidden from attending his own church alone while the Metropolitan Police probes allegations about his conduct. 

Three people have lodged assault allegations against Mr Curtis, senior minister, who is believed to have been involved with the church for at least two decades.

They said Mr Curtis was no longer involved with the church but would not comment further. Rev Dominic Warner, a minister at the church, did not respond to requests for a comment.

Mr Curtis is also chairman of Coulsdon Chess Fellowship and listed as a trustee of the 1st Coulsdon Scout Group, both of which meet at the church.

The website of Christian Domestic Discipline says the practice is 'intended to be a haven for married couples who practice safe and consensual' discipline.

Shocking : A British woman raped in Turkey & gets an apology from the rapist on Facebook

A British holidaymaker, Fern Westland, 20, claims she was raped on a beach by a waiter, who then apologised on Facebook.  Fern said she had befriended Sabri Demir during her stay in Alanya in Turkey last month. But she says the holiday turned to horror when he dragged her on to a beach and subjected her to a sustained sex attack, the Daily Record reports .

Fern said: “I want him off the streets to make sure he can’t target any other women like me.”

Fern said she was left further shaken when Demir messaged her, admitting the attack and even apologising.

She said she is too traumatised to leave her home in Fife.
She said:

“We had been at a local restaurant called Brothers and had been introduced to the owner’s brother and his friend, who agreed to show my friends and I to a club. “Everything had been fine until Sabri got drunk and started touching me inappropriately.

“I told my friends I wanted to leave the club as I didn’t want to be anywhere near him but he insisted on grabbing a lift home with us.”

Fern said her friend had gone into their hotel opposite the beach when she was attacked.
She said:

“Sabri grabbed me from behind and slammed his hand over my mouth. “I couldn’t breathe and was trying to push him off me but he dragged me along the sand before holding me down and raping me. “I was trying to scream but he just kept telling me to shut up.

“I was terrified and couldn’t breathe, I knew I had to get away from him. I was afraid I was going to die. “Then I managed to get him off me and I ran to my friend in the hotel.”

Fern claimed that hours later, Demir began to send her messages on FB. She said he told her:

“I’m really sorry. I don’t know why I did that. Please forgive me.”

Traumatised Fern only felt safe enough to talk to police when she returned to Scotland a week later.

She said: “I went in to complete shock. I was so afraid of having to fly home alone, I just kept quiet until we returned. Since then, the police have come to see me several times and have taken a statement. “They have taken pictures of my bruises on my body and are going to contact the Turkish authorities.”

Fern added: “I want something done about him. I know it happened in a different country and I know it may be a long process.”
Detective Sergeant Calum Lawrie, of Fife’s public protection unit, said: “On Thursday, 8 October, we received a report of the serious sexual assault of a 20-year-old woman that took place in Turkey on Friday, 25 September.

“We are conducting initial inquiries and all the information gathered will be provided to the Turkish authorities for them to progress the investigation.”

When Daily Record contacted Demir on Facebook, Demir replied:

“Sorry, I am so sorry. I did not do anything. I have not had sex with her.”

He then contacted Fern on Facebook, writing:

“Sorry. I am so sorry. “Why are you complaining about me? Why are you complaining to me for sex? You really did not complain to me.” “I don’t have sex with you.”

Fern demanded that Demir admit what he had done.
He responded: “I don’t have sex with you. No, just kiss you. “I’m not afraid.”
