MASHUDU Mavhona is living a lonely life of hell.
The 47-year-old from Atteridgeville in Tshwane told Daily Sun her ex-boyfriend put a spell on her and she has been living in pain and shame ever since.
She said there was a snake inside her, eating her!
Mashudu said she couldn’t work because the snake moved in her head and stomach, causing unbearable pain. She said she was forced to lie in bed all day.
Mashudu said things started going wrong when she separated from her lover two years ago.
“I found out he was cheating on me and I dumped him. Ever since then, I have been in pain every day,” she said.
“If no one helps soon, I will die. I have seen sangomas, doctors and even prophets. They said they didn’t see anything wrong with me.”
However, one prophet told Mashudu someone had sent an evil spirit to make her suffer for the rest of her life.
“I’ve turned to Daily Sun because I’ve seen how people get helped by SunReaders. I need help before it’s too late,” she said.
Traditional Health Practitioners Council chairman Bigboy Mudau said the evil spirit wanted to see Mashudu living without a man or a proper job.
“People like her have short tempers. She must consult a strong sangoma before it’s too late. The spirit is very dangerous and can cause madness,” he said.

Prophet TB Joshua who is the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has come under fire several times for allegedly hiring people to pretend to be sick and disabled and then claim to heal them during his prayer meetings.
Kwaku Bonsam, who operates from a shrine at Sa-Peiman, a village on the outskirts of Nsawam in east Ghana, is assumed to be a very strong witch doctor who is also called ‘Devil of Wednesday’.
Apparently, this Ghanaian priest is said to be very powerful, that he has claimed he’s the ‘spiritual father’
of some of the most powerful preachers in Africa.

“Over 1, 700 pastors and so called men of God from different parts of Africa have approached me, seeking powers to perform miracles, including Prophet T.B Joshua from Nigeria. He is my boy. I challenge him to come out and deny this. Apart from the pastors, many prominent business people and celebrated church founders in Africa frequent my shrine for my services and if they deny, I am going to name them.”
Kwaku Bonsam went on to say that his god is called Kofi-Kofi, and he fortifies him with supernatural powers which he in turn provides to pastors across Africa.
The question is, why would he choose to threaten to expose his ‘dedicated’ patrons?

The sad report came that a 9-year-old girl was raped to death by yet to be identified persons in Elele Community of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The girl whose name was simply given as Miracle was abducted at about 5 pm on Wednesday, 13 January by yet to be identified rapists while returning from an errand for her mother.
Eyewitnesses said that her mother had sent her to buy some food stuffs for her within the busy Elele Roundabout, but she never returned.
After waiting endlessly, the worried mother had to raise the alarm and ran into their streets calling for help in case if anyone might have seen her. A search party that was organized that night could not locate her.
However, the girl’s lifeless body was later found early in the morning of Thursday, 14 January within the vicinity of her family house.
A family source said that they woke up from sleep on the morning of Thursday, 14 January to behold the lifeless body of Miracle with blood all over her nose, mouth and private part.
Some Residents in the area are insinuating that she might have been used for ritual.It was later found out that the elder brother to the late Miracle belongs to a cult group and has been in the custody of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad since last December last year.
There are insinuations that her death may be connected to a revenge by a rival cult group. The Rivers Police Command is yet to react to the gruesome murder of the innocent minor… over her death

Prepare For Hard Times Ahead… CBN Warns
The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria has warned Nigerians to brace for a longer period of low revenue from oil sources, which would necessitate hard and uncomfortable choices.
The committee, at the end of its first meeting for 2016 in Abuja, observed that while the period of low oil prices, which started in 2005, lasted for a maximum of eight months, the current situation was expected to continue over a longer period of time.
The CBN Governor. Mr. Godwin Emefiele, further disclosed that
the development would necessitate huge sacrifices from Nigerians. Crude oil prices had declined from a peak of $114 barrel in July 2014 to $30.25 per barrel on Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
The CBN governor said since oil prices is on a steady decline, certain trade-offs would have to be envisaged and accommodated.
He said, “Consequently, it is imperative to brace for a longer period of low government revenues from oil sources, which would necessitate hard and uncomfortable choices as the economy transits to more sustainable sources of revenue, consistent with the economic realities and strategic objectives of the country. In the circumstance, certain trade-offs must be envisaged and duly accommodated.”
He added, “Consequently, the bank is fine-tuning the framework for foreign exchange management with a view to ensuring a more effective and liquid foreign exchange market, taking into account Nigeria’s strategic development priorities, with the policies being designed within an environment of regularly ensuring consistency with monetary and fiscal policies.”
He continued, “To this end, the committee once again urged the Deposit Money Banks to improve lending to the real sector as part of their patriotic obligations to the country, and enjoined the management of the central bank to continue to explore ways of incentivising lending to employment and growth-generating sectors, particularly the SMEs.”
Asked if CBN would consider forcing the banks to lend to the real sector, Emefiele stated that inasmuch as it would prefer that the DMBs should increase lending to the real sector, it would be practically impossible to force them to do so due to the fact that the banks were established to make profit.
Emefiele further revealed that, “We don’t have any immediate plan to devalue the naira. However, we are already working on different scenarios; the models are being worked on.”
On the introduction of the N50 stamp duty charge, Emefiele explained that the decision was taken to support the Muhammadu Buhari government in its bid to generate more revenue due to the drop in oil prices, and build some very important infrastructures that would be beneficial to all Nigerians.

Catalog police ends Eiye confraternity, sex-trafficking in Spain.
Catalan Police have busted a sex-trafficking group in Spain known as the Supreme Eiye Confraternity (SEC), or the Air Lords following a raid on their residential building.
BBC’s Sam Piranty was given access by the Catalan police, Mossos D’Esquadra, to an investigation into a Nigerian sex-trafficking gang. He spoke to traffickers and women rescued from sexual slavery before filming an early morning raid in November, which led to 23 arrests. He also discovered that the gang is now using London as a gateway into Europe.
It’s 08:00 in the Catalan Police Headquarters on the outskirts of Barcelona and Xavi Cortes, head of the anti-trafficking unit, waits patiently for his 22 teams to confirm they are in position. Finally, he gives the order.
Two-hundred-and-fifty officers quietly climb out of their police vans. Single file, each team approaches a residential building watched by a few surprised neighbours.
On reaching the door, one of the masked police officers uses his fingers to count down. Three, two, one. The door is knocked down, the silence shattered, the officers rush inside.
The raid results in the arrest of the leaders of a Nigerian-based group running an international sex-trafficking ring in Barcelona.
It’s known as the Supreme Eiye Confraternity (SEC), or the Air Lords, and 23 people are now behind bars, with European Arrest Warrants issued for those who have left the country.
This operation was 18 months in the planning and involved monitoring more than a million phone calls, tapping dozens of mobile phones and months of surveillance.

Cortes and his team first came across the group in 2011 during a forgery investigation, but quickly discovered it was a huge network trafficking women and drugs.
He asks me to look at his screen. On it is a map detailing all the locations they have identified where members of the SEC operate. Cities are marked in Europe, North, West and East Africa, North and South America, the Middle East and Asia.
Eiye in Yoruba, the main language of south-western Nigeria means ”bird”. The group’s insignia is an eagle and each city containing members is called a ”nest”, with the ”mother nest” in Ibadan, about 100km (60 miles) north-east of Lagos.
The group was started at the University of Ibadan in the 1970s, and the original intention was to make a positive contribution to society. Over time, however, many members went astray, committing violence in Nigeria and delving into crime abroad.
The group now traffics human beings and narcotics (cocaine and marijuana) and forges passports. It has also facilitated the transport of stolen crude oil into Europe.
“They are able to earn money in many ways, but we are focused on human-trafficking and the victims.”Says Cortes.
His second-in-command, Alex Escola, then tells me something remarkable.
”You know, one of the tappings showed us that last year, on 7 July, around 400 members of SEC met in Geneva. They had a big meeting, all together.”

Sweden plans to expel up to 80,000 asylum-seekers

But the number of migrant arrivals has dropped dramatically since Sweden enacted systematic photo ID checks on travellers on January 4.Swedish officials on Tuesday called for greater security at overcrowded asylum centres a day after the fatal stabbing of an employee at a refugee centre for unaccompanied youths.
The employee was 22-year-old Alexandra Mezher, according to Swedish media reports, whose family was originally from Lebanon. A motive for the attack was not immediately clear.
Her death has led to questions about overcrowded conditions inside some centres, with too few adults and employees to take care of children, many traumatised by war.
In neighbouring Denmark, meanwhile, the government this week approved legislation to seize the valuables of refugees in the hope of limiting the flow of migrants.

The woman recounted her harrowing history as a victim of domestic violence, made a statement to the police and the suspect was subsequently arrested. He will be charged to courttomorrow. Meanwhile his family and community members said the matter will be settled the 'family way'
