A 44-year-old man from Ini Local government area of Akwa Ibom state who has been allegedly defiling his daughter has revealed that he sees nothing wrong with having carnal knowledge with his biological daughter.
According to the Emmanuel Udoh who was arrested after defiling his daughter in their residence, at 2 Ajasa Command Road, Meiran, Lagos state, “I have had sexual intercourse with her severally. It is a normal thing and I don’t see anything bad in sleeping with my daughter because I know she will not get pregnant because I don’t ejaculate inside her”.
It was gathered that Udoh ex-wife took custody of their two children after they separated seven years ago when the victim was ten years old. The victim who lived with her mother reunited with her father when her mother brought her back after she completed her secondary education in the month of September to enable her further her education.
Trouble, however, started, in the evening, on September 13, when Udoh asked his daughter to go and have her bath. The victim why initially refused went to take her bath after her father insisted.

While I was inside the bathroom I called out for help but neighbours could not hear me because I was weak. It was my father that helped me out of the bathroom and took me inside.

Yemisi Daramola, a 36-year-old mother of 4 today told an Ikorodu Customary Court in Lagos that she caught her husband fondling his step daughter’s breasts when she is asleep.
Yemisi, a fashion designer, is seeking the dissolution of her 15-year-old marriage to her husband, Babatunde.
Yemisi said Babatunde touches her 19-year-old daughter who has another father.
“One night, my husband left me on the bed and went to meet my daughter on the mat to romance her while she slept. I caught him touching her breasts.
“When I questioned my daughter why she did not tell me, she said my husband gave her money and told her not to let anyone know.

Yemisi urged the court to end her marriage to her husband because she was afraid the man would ruin her daughter’s life.
The 43-year-old Babatunde, a resident of Oduyebo Street in Ikorodu, admitted touching his stepdaughter but begged his wife for forgiveness.
He promised not to repeat such act and pleaded with the court to help him settle with his wife.
“My wife left me to live in another man’s apartment, but I still want her back,” Daramola told the court.
The court’s president, Mrs. Omolara Abiola, asked the couple to wait behind in her chambers for discussion and adjourned the matter till December 14 for further hearing.

Over 50, 000 Nigerian girl-children die annually owing to complications arising from wrong and poorly done abortions.The poorly done abortions happen as a result of lack of education and awareness available to girl children.
The Nigeria Medical Association Committee on Girl Child Education said young school girls who who are influenced by peer pressure.
Speaking on Wednesday during an awareness campaign organized by the Committee at Model Girls’ Secondary School, Ugwuachara, Ebonyi State, the National President of the Committee, Chidi Esike, decried the high level risk involving Nigerian girl children.
Dr. Esike called on the female students to take their studies seriously and avoid distractions that often lead them have sex before they are mature.
He said early sexual intercourse in girl children inhibit their chances of furthering their education and also expose them to various risks which includes unwanted pregnancies and death of over 50, 000 Nigerian girl children because of badly done abortions.
“The theme of this particular project is Adolescence and the Education of the Girl Child-Negotiating the Mine Field. We decided to interact with the students to create awareness of the major challenges facing them in their education through lectures and help them find best solutions that will make their education most effective,” Dr. Esike said.
The host principal of Model Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School, Charity Chukwu, commended the NMA Committee on Girl Child Education for their prompt awareness campaign on how to safeguard the future of female children in the state and protect them from various harmful activities like female genital mutilation.

Man Kills Girlfriend For Rejecting Marriage Proposal In Imo
Onyinyechi Okegbulam of Egbu in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State has allegedly been killed by her boyfriend for refusing his marriage proposal.
A source, who spoke on grounds of anonymity, toldVanguard that the girl was shot in the head at close range by her supposed boyfriend in the village.
The source recalled that the deceased was, last Saturday, lured out of her family home by the boyfriend at about 7p.m.
“Some people, who were close to the scene of the crime that night, reported that as soon as the boy saw the girl approaching him, he fired at her,” the source said.Another source claimed that soon after shooting the girl, the young man tried to smuggle Onyinyechi’s lifeless body into his car but scampered for safety when a woman raised alarm, which attracted several people to the scene.
Another story, however, had it that the boyfriend was responsible for the entire educational expenses of the girl, who later ditched him.The 22-year-old Onyinyechi was, until her untimely death, a final year student of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri West Local Government Area of the state.
A resident of the area said:“We heard that the boy picked the bills for the girl’s education, but that the girl later abandoned the boy and opted to marry another man.“We have even heard that the marriage has been fixed before the boyfriend struck.”
The police source said: “Police have started investigating the incident and the late girl’s parents are cooperating with us. Police will get to the root of the case.”

Former Super Eagles midfielder, Dickson Etuhu, 33, was arrested in Sweden on Sunday Nov. 1st after allegedly being involved in a scuffle with security guards and police officers outside a night club.
Dickson who previously played for Manchester City, Sunderland, Fulham and Blackburn, is now signed on with Stockholm-based side AIK.
According to reports, Dickson and two other men were denied entrance to the club venue, before the police were called to the scene.
He has since released a statement via his club website confirming the incident. He wrote
“I want to confirm that I am the AIK player that was involved in the incident that has been reported in the media during the last two days. I’m coming forward because I don’t want any more speculation surrounding my team-mates about who was involved and I have always stood up for my actions.
I have talked to my club and the police about what in my opinion happened on Sunday night, and I will today file a report to the police about what I believe caused the incident and the way the security staff acted. I have no further comments since it is now an ongoing police investigation.”.
His club director of football, Björn Wesström said” It’s never good news when anyone in our club is involved in this kind of matter. I have been in contact with the player and had a good conversation with him in which he calmly gave his version of the story.”

A day after he was declared wanted by the EFCC over allegations of contract scam and stealing of N2 billion while he was in office, former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, has released a statement faulting the antigraft agency's decision to declare him wanted.
According to the statement signed by his counsel, Esther Uzoma, the former pension boss has not been served any charges or invitation by the antigraft agency and so cannot be declared wanted

"The EFCC should come clean on the matter of my client, Dr. Abdulrasheed Maina. When I appeared before His Lordship, Justice Kolawole on July 21, I made it clear that the EFCC was yet to file any charge as well as serve any summons on Dr. Maina. It is trite law that you cannot say an accused is on the run when there is no charge preferred against him or any invitation extended to him. During the hearing for the bail application, counsel to the EFCC, Mr. Rotimi Jacobs SAN, wanted the court to direct me to produce Maina in court at the next sitting which I argued that there are clear procedures, which the EFCC is familiar with and should follow. Naturally, the court agreed with my submission on the position of law. Therefore, it is misleading for the EFCC in its statement of Monday to mislead the public that there exists an order for Maina to be produced in court when there is no invitation extended to him talk-less of a charge preferred against him by the commission,” she said. EFCC had on Monday November 2nd, declared Maina wanted for his alleged role in the fraudulent biometric contracts in which himself and former Head of Service, Steve Oronsaye, and two others were accused of stealing over N2billion of pension funds. A statement by the antigraft agency states that Maina was on July 21, 2015 charged alongside Messrs. Oronsaye, Osarenkhoe Afe and Fredrick Hamilton Global Services Limited before a Federal High Court on a 24 count charge bordering on procurement fraud and obtaining by false pretense. “While Oronsaye and two others were in court and pleaded not guilty to the charge, Maina had been at large,” the statement saidEFCC went on to state that when the court heard the bail applications of the accused persons, Maina through his counsel, Esther Uzoma, told the court that he was not at large, and said that the EFCC had never invited him. EFCC says despite many invitations, Maina had refused to honor any and so was declared wanted on Monday.
